The Smoked Pork belly and root veggies was AMAZING! Clean plates all around!
My daughter and I brought my 8 year old granddaughter for brunch. She was so disappointed that they didn’t have hot chocolate. The owner personally went to a local coffee shop and brought her one. Our waitress was amazing and turned what could have been a miserable meal into a joyous one. The food was wonderful, the chicken and biscuits was off the hook and we now have a new fave place.
Food was delicious. Chef Dayne was very personable.
Everything about BB is exceptional.
Delicious! Great service!
It was the perfect place to have a hardy meal or light lunch. The food was great and a good size portion. The staff was friendly yet not intrusive. I will be back!
Friendly service, quiet dining area. Entrees were good although the portions were small.
As always, the service and the food was excellent. Everything was delicious. We felt comfortable with their spaced seating.
What an outstanding meal. We throughly enjoyed the entire experience
The servers are very personable and attentive. The food is amazing. We had PEI mussels with crispy french fries. We also had the feta dip which was really tasty. There is not a lot of seating due to restrictions, so I suggest you make a reservation.
Loved the burgers and brisket! Will definitely be back!!
The food quality was outstanding. Service was great. Everything was delicious. I'd highly recommend checking it out. It's a little out of the way, up by city park and in a strip mall but its honestly one of the best places I've eaten at. The portions are huge and a good value.
Great food! Different flavors on the menu to suit everyone.
Great service and food was delicious!
Delicious!
I went there for Coolinary. My friends just wanted to try it out. Excellent service and food and bottomless mimosas included. Had chicken and waffles and banana cotta, not what I would typically order but they were delicious. My friends got the brunch burger (I've already had it). They were in heaven!. Soooo good you must go!
We lived in New Orleans for 8 years. Brown Butter was our favorite restaurant. We eat here every time we come to town.
Hadn’t been there since Covid. Was pleased with their process. Food was excellent. Server friendly and efficient. Only negus the reservation system offers “outside seating”. Sitting at a picnic table far from the restaurant wasn’t attractive at all to us so we went inside. Get a tent.
We went for the Coolinary Encore brunch and let me telll you, WHAT A DEAL!
2 courses AND bottomless mimosas for $32.
We tried everything on the Coolinary brunch (except the salad), and it was all delicious. The brunch burger was a crowd favorite , and the bananacotta was a surprising star on our brunch table as well.
Glad to see life getting back to 'normal' little by little around the city! I would recommend this restaurant to others and plan to return again soon myself. :)
Delicious as always, and great service.
We miss the Rusty Door! :-)
We love Brown Butter!
Great friendly service. It’s in a strip shopping center which pretty much describes the ambiance when you consider that is a bar also.
The food is great.
We had the fish dip was different and very tasty.
The pimento cheese hamburger was almost perfect and at a fair price. The garlic potatoes seemed ok but I don’t like garlic fries.
I got the fish special which was trout, roasted cauliflower over a buttery sauce cooked to perfection.
My wife got the brisket Mack and cheese. The brisket was a bit chewy and had a good flavor. The greens and Mac and cheese were delicious but the meat was generous but disappointing.
The sandwich and burger park of the menu has prices commensurate with the location.
The appetizers while uncommon for the location were a bit pricey but they were good.
The entree section had Hugh restaurant prices and were presented well...but it’s a stretch to charge $20 plus in a strip center in a bar.
It’s been closed for a while and yet to get to the bathroom you had to navigate old wooden windows piles up against the wall and other “stuff” which was off putting.
The service was top notch. The guy was friendly, attentive, informative and anticipated your every move.
I’m not sure if this place is a bar wanting to be a high restaurant or the other way around.
There’s talent in the kitchen I just it needs to be in a better location.
So glad this place opened back up. Have never been disappointed with this place. Only negative...wish they would bring back the burger and beer special. Even if it’s slightly more. Loved having a burger and a couple beers.
Place has probably the best burger in the city. Change my mind
Excellent service! Thank you for everything! We’ll definitely be back to check out more of your amazing menu!
Great brunch spot uptown! Food was great and the environment low key
All aspects of our dining experience was excellent!!
The ribs were very dry. Brisket sandwich was ok. Mac and cheese side wasn't good.
Excellent food and service. Crab Mac and cheese was fab!!
Loved it the food and staff were very nice
Ticket time was a bit long and after we finished eating we had to signal the server after about ten minutes so we could Pay the bill. We would go back again.
Mardi Gras with 7 students from Tulane
We had a phenomenal gastronomic experience! From the smoked Prime Rib, to the 1/2 rack smoky baby backs, the mussels ambiance is perfect for that location and menu. Very comfortable and relaxed!
Went for brunch. Excellent menu, difficult to choose what to order because everything is delicious!
Superb!! Service, food, and ambiance!!
Great service and great foof
Delicious food! The crab Mac and cheese is a MUST
I’ve driven past Brown Butter for years and never really thought much about it. The rule of thumb in Nola is poor restaurants rarely last long so we finally decided to try it. The atmosphere was very laid back with nice dim lighting and a low noise level which I appreciate. From the mussel appetizer to our entrees of sheepshead and a Korean beef bowl we enjoyed complex flavors and impeccable presentation. Our waitress was very attentive without crossing the line of bothering us to excess. All in all it was great and we are looking forward to trying different items on the menu in the near future.
The mushroom/pork ragout was great. Pork belly dish was solid as well.
Excellent food, great service. We will definitely return.
Went for brunch, the poutine and eggs was fabulous, the others got bread pudding french toast and devored it all, said it was excellent as well.
