Awesome! Everything was great except for the bananas foster. It was pretty lackluster (but we’re natives and have had some really good BF. I’m sure tourists would love it lol)
One of my favorite places in NOLA!! We will be back. The food is always great and they never let you glass get empty!!
Excellent restaurant! Delicious food, great service, pleasant atmosphere. Best duck I've tasted. I know I will be back!
Good food, our first time there. All the employees were very considerate and checking to make sure everything was perfect.
Brunch was great! We enjoyed the food, service, ambiance, and especially the live jazz trio!
Always a fantastic experience. Best brunch in town!
Amazing!! Enjoyed every second! The meal, service and overall experience was excellent!
We love Lionel, the drinks, and food. Had a great time
From the moment we walked in, the service was incredible. The front door staff was on top of our reservation and seated us immediately. The ambiance provided by the live music was very covid friendly as it utilized string instruments. Steven and James, our servers, were absolutely amazing. They kept our bottomless mimosas full, gave us excellent recommendations of places to visit while we were in town, and overall provided us with an experience to be remembered. We ordered the BBQ Gulf Shrimp and Grits and the Cochon de Lait Benedict. Both dishes were without comparison; we could not get enough of either. Broussard’s is on my short list of places to visit in New Orleans.
A fun place for brunch. Beautiful interior, good service and reasonable prices.
Perfect birthday celebration. Food, service and atmosphere was amazing as always. Everyone enjoyed their food and bottomless mimosas are the way to go.
Excellent experience. Highly recommended
Birthday/engagement
The food and service was exceptional as always. They are follow Vivid guidelines which made us comfortable to enjoy our drinks and lunch
Our Sunday brunch at broussard’s was excellent! Top notch service and the food was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to go back!
James and Ashley ours servers did an awesome job! Food was over the top!
Phenomenal
My family and I dined at Broussard’s on New Year’s Day. We started with the crab cake and oysters Broussard. Both were exceptional. Most of my party ate the beef and loved it. I had the bronzed redfish which was terrific. The restaurant is classy and the service was fantastic. I highly recommend Broussard’s!
Was disappointed with the very, very limited menu. My husband’s blackened Redfish was delicious. My crab and Brie omelet was OK, very little Brie or sauce. The Creme Brûlée was the best we have ever had. The seafood gumbo was served Luke warm and no wait staff to be found to replace it with a hot serving. Very good job separating tables and mask wearing, we felt very comfortable dining at Broussards
This was horrible- we were there for over an hour & a half, when our food arrived it was cold & the potatoes were uncooked-We had to send it back...I also ordered bottomless mimosas & it took forever to get the 1st one & any refills, also the restaurant said validated parking was available & we still had to pay for parking —- the day we went it was free parking @ meters but we did the validation & had to end up paying at the Royal Sonesta !! We paid over $300 in our bill waiting so long for cold & uncooked food...along with having to pay for free parking... so sad, we use to go all the time when I was younger— so sad!!! A Nola favorite not worth the money or time!
We had the Bronzed Redfish and Pompano Ponchartrain, which were both very tasty and prepared well. They also had a tempting fixe price dinner, but the individual entrees won us over.
Before our meal, we enjoyed the freshly-baked bread with sweet (honey?) butter as well as the Louisiana Blue Crab Cake starter. The crab cake was good, but not as crispy or flavorful as the Maryland counterparts I'm accustomed to.
The cocktails were unique and I particularly recommend the Isadora Duncan, which was fantastic.
We were filled enough from our meals to not need dessert, but another table order a Bananas Foster which was prepared in front of us and looked (and smelled) amazing.
A new New Orleans favorite! Lovely and delicious.
The one restaurant we revisited this trip and we got the same table we had for our honeymoon. Bottomless mimosas are now determine your own ratio! On top of that, I returned for Josephine Benedict and got live music too. Awesome experience! She had sides of Gulf Shrimp and Mascarpone Grits. Thanks, Stephan, for the excellent service!
Very average. Mimosa and food was not enjoyable and service was not particularly helpful. The decor is beautiful though.
Excellent service, delicious food, and a beautiful dining space. Had a wonderful evening and can't wait to come back!
This was our third year dining at Broussard's the weekend after Christmas, and it did not disappoint. Fabulous food and service, and the ambiance is so New Orleans and so elegant. See you next year!
Appetizer was good. Entrees were delicious.
This represents our experience, your mileage may vary.
With a 5:30 reservation and an 8:00 tour, we thought we had enough time - as had been the case with our other meals during the trip. That was definitely not the case.
One of our desserts took 30 minutes to arrive, was not what was ordered, and, whatever it was, was as hard as a rock - rendering it inedible.
As it was Christmas Day, we expected things to be a bit slower, but were unprepared to not receive things we had ordered - such as a beverage that was brought after a person checked on the progress of our meal. We were assured it was on-the-house for the hour wait, it was definitely on-the-bill.
I'm absolutely sure that should we return, we would have an experience similar to those reviews that made as make a reservation in the first place. Unfortunately, as a traveler with a plethora of choices, we will not be returning and I cannot recommend the restaurant.
My wife and I enjoyed a nice Christmas dinner at Broussard’s while traveling. The food quality and ambiance was superb. The service was surprisingly slow and unresponsive for the caliber of restaurant. We dined at Pelican Club, Irene’s, and Tableau earlier in the week. The service at each was FAR better than Broussard’s.
Our reservation was for 5 pm & we were set promptly. Servers were very polite & answered all questions. Food was delicious. Will be back again.
Since this business had a good reputation, I was very disappointed with the quality of the service. Our table wasn't ready for our reservation time, so we sat in the bar area. It took a long time for a waiter to take our drink order. When we moved to the dining room, we sat for a very long time before our waiter even acknowledge our existence. We were seated next to a large party that kept making lots of loud exchanges. It detracted for our dinner.
We waited a long time between courses and another server, maybe a dining room manager? finally asked if we needed anything. After another several minutes, our waiter assured is that our entrees were maybe 5 minutes away.
The food was wonderful, but the kitchen's timing was deplorable. I understand that these things happen, but a competent waitstaff can mitigate it.
All in all, I was not happy with our Christmas dinner.
Probably one of the best fillets I've had! We all had something different & everyone enjoyed what they ordered.
Took a long time between courses.
Has the Bananas Foster dessert and they tried twice to make it (they made error in process and had to run back to the kitchen to restart the whole process setup and it was mushy (bananas were smashed) and running. Almost like a soup as ice cream was melted as they didn’t change the ice cream when they had to restart.
Staff were very kind and friendly however.
No music in the back dining room until we were leaving.
Our First Christmas Dinner at Broussard's will lead to another. The service was excellent. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was delicious. The almond bread pudding was delightful. Great Christmas atmosphere.
Great spot for Christmas Day brunch or anytime! We switched spots after seeing another restaurant young their prices for their Christmas menu and not happy with the options. It turned out for the best going to Broussard’s. Great service and food and charming French Quarter atmosphere with a great view of the courtyard.
Inattentive service. Uncoordinated delivery of food and drinks. Average fare. We are overseas visitors entertaining local friends who were as surprised. Did not live up to the hype. Far better choices in New Orleans
Very nice Christmas Eve experience. Wait staff phenomenal. Loved everything but the bisque. Just needed more flavor.
Food was mostly tasty. Lobster bisque had huge chunks of lobster which was awesome, but the bisque part left more to be desired. Scallops and desserts were delicious. Service was meh. We had to ask for enough silverware. We also had to ask for bread. No bread plates were given. They never offered to bring us bread, so we had to ask each time.
Broussards excellent service and delicious and large variety of distinctly New Orleans authentic entrees is a testent o why this resteraunt has been here for 100 years. The facilities are beautiful . It was a perfect spot for our annual Christmas Eve Brunch!
Christmas Eve lunch
We had Christmas Eve breakfast here and we enjoyed it. Ambiance was wonderful, it’s a beautiful place. Katherine was our server and she was fantastic. We asked a lot of questions and she was so helpful and charming. She made it very enjoyable. We will definitely be back to enjoy a dinner with her recommendations!
