Food was good. Service staff was inexperienced but nice. The had to remake one of our salads three times because the vegetarian asked for no ceaser dressing. I couldn’t get a drink refill without waiving someone down. Overall mediocre experience for a local. The 3 course special for 19.20 is a great gimmick but I wouldn’t go for a special occasion like we did but maybe stumble in on a late nite in FQ. 99 years, locals beware!
The bartender was super engaging and pleasant, sorry can't remember her name.
Lionel is a great waiter, 2cd time we've been.
Food is excellent, I like the Pompano myself!
Great place. Food was excellent.
1920 special is great , Oysters on the appetizer menu are really excellent
Nice place , will visit again
The courtyard was spacious and beautiful. I will consider this for a wedding reception venue.
Broussard's was amazing. Excellent service and the 19.20 special was a great value.
Great restaurant. Food was delicious. Good for groups
AlwAys top notch and classy. Food is always fantastic
Did the 1920 special and it did not disappoint. Great service and food was delicious.
Of the classic old New Orleans restaurants, Broussard's is at the top of the list, and summer is a great time to visit. The ambience, food and service are outstanding as always, and the summer specials make this an extraordinary value. Absolutely not to be missed.
My wife and I had a wonderful dinner.
The food, waiters and band were all incredible! Beautiful restaurant for a bachelorette party!
The service could have been better. Our cocktail and dessert waiter didn’t check with us very often. He kind of had an attitude in the end. The main waiter was very good though.
Very friendly staff. Lovely dining room & courtyard. Food & drink excellent. Service perfect without being annoying.
Great food! Great atmosphere!! Awesome service! We will go back whenever we’re in NOLA!!
John made our dining experience very memorable. A great GM for this restaurant.
Have visited many times. on this occation, there ere a grour of a dozen yong ladies celebrating a baby shower(?). they each accomplished being louder than the next. Larger parties should be seated in the backroom away from the mainroom. Just sayin.
This was by the far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I had a group of 10 people for my birthday dinner. Most of us had never been to New Orleans before so it was a very special trip for us all. We wanted one night where we could enjoy a nice dinner. There were 2 servers helping us. We didn’t realize that one was only for drinks and the other was responsible for food orders. So when we ordered drinks with one server, she took it down but failed to mention that she never put it in or told the other server. So 30 mins later we ordered w the other server.
The food came out about 1.5 hours later but incorrect. Not only were we not even hungry at that point, but no server wanted to even come near the table because they knew we were not happy. The manager and chef tried to come out to make it better with a bottle of wine and a plate of dessert (which no one ate by the way becauSe we didn’t ask for it) oh and the dessert that we did order that was suppose to come with a couple of the guests meals never came back because oh, the servers didn’t want to stop by our table.
For being a fine dining restaurant I was very disappointed and would have rather eaten at a drive thru chick til a.
What a WONDERFUL meal!!!!! We had some
Very talented musicians how strolled around and sang to the different tables. So fun!!!! Food was delicious and service was just great. Would return in a hearbeat!!!
Lovely dining room, superb menu, excellent service!
Absolutely delicious. To honor their 99th year in existence, Broussard's has an amazing 3-course $19.20 special. All of the food was absolutely phenomenal and the staff was stellar.
Amazing food, but even better service! Super friendly and polite wait staff and manager! Thank you for a memorable anniversary!
Broussard’s is a wonderful restaurant with amazing food and a fantastic staff. Our servers Gene and William took great care of us and we can’t stop talking about our lovely night there.
This was probably one of the best meals of my life. I've never tasted dessert so perfectly made, food was just spectacular, and their cocktails were outstanding. Just absolute perfection. Not a single complaint and would recommend their 1920s menu to anyone visiting New Orleans.
We came in to an almost empty dining room on a rainy weeknight. The environment was upscale & elegant, waiters were polite & friendly. Some of the food was delicious (crab cake!), some was so-so, & very over-salted. Drinks were top-notch, but service (despite being allotted 2 servers, plus the lack of other diners) was inattentive. Our drinks order was forgotten -twice- & we waited over a half hour for our dessert. (Which arrived with a mostly melted scoop of ice cream, while the cake was still refrigerator-cold, & stiff.)
We wondered if the discrepancy was because we’d ordered their 1920s prix fix special; 3 courses for $20, though with the appetizer & drinks we added, the bill still topped $100... We did enjoy our night, but would probably only return for drinks.
Amazing food and service! Will definitely return next time in the area
I liked the late reservation it was easier to speak everyone at the table. The food was great and we had a wonderful time. The servers were very attentive and polite. We were the last to leave the restaurant and they did not rush us. Great Father's Day, we will be back!
Brunch Excellence! Chicken and waffles tasted like heaven!
The service was phenomenal - from the time you are greeted at the door until you leave. The breakfast bread basket will make your mouth water, Loved the Jazz band. This was my first time eating at Broussard's but definitely will not be the last.
This is a very special place! It’s beautiful, the staff are friendly and accommodating, and the food was out of this world!!
Fantastic as usual! We're from New Orleans and this is our go to brunch spot.
Food was perfectly cooked and delicious. The only issue I had was with the tourists dressed in T-shirts and athletic shorts at 7pm. Tables are a good distance apart and chairs are very comfortable. Will definitely return.
When walking into Broussard's, my husband and I were first extremely concerned that we weren't dressed well for the occasion. We had arrived dressy casual and there wasn't an issue at all, from the moment we got there we were introduced to our team of servers and within the first fifteen minutes one of the managers came by and introduced himself. We enjoyed our own 4 course meal that was so wonderful and we left smiling. Overall it was a wonderful place to eat with an amazing history. Definitely will come back when we are in New Orleans again!
Food was good, medium cooked fillets were well done
Ambiance was a little depressing because the dining room, while pretty, was almost empty during 8pm dinner service. Bartender was good but dining staff disorganized. Check came before dessert service. Ran out of sterno for bananas foster and a replacement sterno could not be found. The waitress offered us the ice cream in the bottom of the otherwise empty bowls, but no comp.
Beautiful restaurant. We sat in the courtyard for bottomless brunch. Great service, great music. Would definatley recommend.
Very enjoyable Sunday brunch. Food very good, service outstanding and jazz band entertaining. Would return
The Broussard's team provided a delightful experience for a dear friend's birthday. The menu hit the right notes without being overwhelming, and everyone enjoyed their entrees. Opt for the bottomless bubbles--you won't be disappointed!
It was our 2nd year anniversary on June 8, 2019. The Broussard's staff made it unforgettable. The food was impeccable and service was excellent.
The meal was delicious and was only surpassed by the service. It was outstanding! If they moved north they would make a fortune. Highly recommend and will surely come back.
