We have dined at Brothers at least a dozen times over the course of the years. Our server, Matt was professional and polite. The hostesses were also professional as well as all of the staff. Bussers and runners were efficient. We didn't have to ask for refills on water. All staff was attentive. We started with the wedge salad. The lettuce was crisp and fresh. Delicious. The disappointment was with both of our entrees. I ordered the scallops. They were undercooked. Husband ordered rack of lamb which was cooked to his liking; however we both discussed how salty both of our entrees were. We did not complain and ate our meals ,but we were disappointed especially at the expensive price point. The bread basket is diverse, but the bread would be better served warm. The atmosphere is nice. Casual and unpretentious which we enjoy. There are so many other great restaurants in Santa Ynez. We used to think Brothers was top notch; however this experience tainted our opinion a bit based on the heavy salt on our entrees. We each tasted one another's main so we shared the same sentiment. We will dine there again but be a bit more careful and expressive of our needs.

I’ve been eating at the Red Barn ever since the brothers purchased it. You will not find a better meal, and service in the valley. If you come to visit the Santa Ynez area the Red Barn is a must.

This restaurant and staff was above what I expected. We came here for our Anniversary. The food was excellent. Everything including dessert made on the spot. Staff were very professional, courteous and attentive. We enjoyed our experience and highly recommend this restaurant. We had a wonderful bread pudding dessert which was out of this world. We wished we weren't so full to enjoy the whole thing.

Food was excellent. Liked being able to order cup of French Onion soup. Not over filling amount so I could enjoy the rack of lamb. Only disappointment was it was a birthday so a special occasion. Saw two other tables received a complimentary birthday dessert after their meal but we didn’t. Maybe they ran out.

The Red Barn is a great restaurant to compliment the other great restaurants on the same street in Santa Ynez. My wife and I went there on the recommendation of a local person who boasted they had the best steaks and pork chops and sole in the area. He wasn’t wrong. I loved my pork chop, a dish I can never make to my liking at home. And my wife had the sole and proclaimed it first rate. The service was great and the cocktails mixed to perfection. I found the dining room a little too loud for my liking, but that was the only problem I had.

Went for my mom’s 70th birthday. Junior was our waiter and was wonderful. The food was amazing had the calamari for starters and prime rib and rack of lamb for entrees. Overall the experience was fabulous.

The restaurant was busy. It was moderately noisy. The food was excellent. We each had the filet, which was prime beef and beautifully cooked. Hit the mark. What made the experience especially nice was the service. Our server was very good. She was professional. She had several tables in two rooms, but still kept us feeling well taken care of. For example, she didn't just stop and ask, "How is everything?" She shared a few sentences or questions and then moved on. We felt taken care of and she seemed to do the same with other diners, too. Noisy, friendly place. Mainly a steak house with two brothers as chefs. Rib eye a specialty which they were sold out of by 7:00 pm when we were ready to order. Our other steaks (filets & sirloin were juicy and perfectly ccoked. Matt, our waiter, was great. Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of local color here to enjoy.

We had the Brother's Burger, the filet mignon and the wedge salad. From every delicious bite to the incredible cocktails, and dessert and after dinner drinks, the experience was worth every penny paid. Service was outstanding so much so that because we are from out of town, we will be returning tonight for another great meal.

We were seated promptly by a friendly hostess and our server greeted us in a friendly manner. The choices on the menu were well described.
