We were seated immediately upon arrival and offered drinks and water. A very pleasant surprise was a special Easter menu with exquisitely prepared 3 courses with wine pairings. Absolutely delightful meal with impeccable service!

Brooks never disappoints. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent. The staff are well trained, professional while being very personable. The Food always high quality and nicely presented. I and one of my colleague had the fish and chips, the other the Cioppino. Outstanding, our favorite place to bring guests.

Incredible food. Great service. Nice views, but not much of the lake can been seen from inside. The real views of the lake are from the Edgewood dining room (our outside on the deck). However, we enjoyed the views and food here. The garlicky pull apart bread is a MUST have. Husband said the French dip was the best he has had.

I’m not sure how they cooked a steak so poorly. It was over cooked, terribly chewy, and also somehow came out cold even with less than a dozen people in the restaurant. A very big disappointment after enjoying 5 other meals at the other Edgewood restaurants. The waiter dropped off the check mid dessert and then disappeared after telling him I’d sign to the room. The rest of the Edgewood experience was amazing. I’ve stayed at many of the top hotels in the world and Edgewood sits with the best of them from design, service, setting and the intangibles that set apart the best.

As with everything at Edgewood, now, things are overpriced and under-qualified. Upon arrival we were forced to valet park, except that the valet was nowhere to be seen and over a dozen cars were parked in non-parking places. The host was available and quick to seat us, but they were clearly short staffed as the bartender was also our server and was unable to attend to us for some time. The menu leaves a lot to be desired. Although both of our dishes; the chicken sandwich and taco trio tasted fine, they weren't at the caliber that the food used to be. The best part of the night was the delicious cocktail that the bartender made. Beyond that, it is just one of those places that over charges for sub-par quality.

Brooks Bar never disappoints. Love the elegant, casual, cozy atmosphere, but on our most recent visit it was the service. Kyle was exceptional and really made us all feel special, helped us select the perfect wine, and was extremely attentive.

First the service was outstanding. We had the pleasure of Tyler taking care of us. He had great recommendations for wine. We had the tri-tip tacos and a BLTA salad with shrimp. Very good. Talked us into getting the Choco taco. It is not to miss! A wonderful relaxing place to watch Sunday night football.

We’ve enjoyed Brook’s Bar and Grill for years! This time, however, was a disappointment. First of all, there is no longer any public parking, you must check in with the valet kiosk. This despite the fact it was mid-week and their were numerous empty spaces. OK, whatever Edgewood. We were seated at the restaurant immediately and it became obvious that our waitress was obviously new and untrained. Yeah we’ve heard the “staffing shortage” excuse… blah, blah, blah. But for the prices they now charge, make an effort folks! We ordered drinks and we’re asked if we wanted appetizers. We said no. The drinks were delivered and she asked if she could take the menus, but didn’t ask if we wanted to order anything. We asked if we could keep one and then saw her give the menus to another incoming party. Couldn’t quite figure that out, but…whatever. We were then basically ignored until we caught her attention and asked if we could order lunch. Finally got our order in, finally got our food, and overall the food was really good! We got the bill and noticed that my Irish Coffee had been broken down into 3 separate charges: coffee, whiskey and Baileys for a grand total of $24. Seriously!!! Oh, and there was no whipped cream. Can’t help but wonder if I would have been charged separately for that as well. I realize restaurants are trying to recoup from their Covid losses but resent being nickeled and dimes to death after receiving sub par service. Think we will stay away for awhile.
