Trout was out of this world. Francesco pro waiter. View awesome. Nobody there.
Beautiful setting overlooking a large pond and the golf course. Food and service were good.
A few of us gals get together once a month for lunch and Broken Top is always a hit. I've never had a bad meal there and yesterdays was not exception. The Red Pepper soup was divine and I look forward to having it again. There was agreement on that with another lunch mate. I couldn't pass on the crab cakes and once again they were delicious and there was agreement on that also. All in all everyone was pleased with their meal and we shall return!
Spectacular view. Quiet so could comfortably converse with all others at table. Excellent food and service.
Tasteless trout, sad attempt at veal.
Great service by our waiter and delicious ahi tuna salad! My dining companions loved the daily special soups as well as their entrees.
Great location, quite, great views, superb variety of food, with specials that compliment the menu. Nice range of wine to select from
There were 5 of us that went out for a late lunch. We all ordered a different entree, everyone was very pleased with their choice. I had the Bologonese, which was wonderful definitely one of the very best I have ever experienced. Our waiter was personable and very concerned that we have a great experience. Ambience was very pleasant, on a beautiful day in Bend Oregon.
We were seated outside on the Lakeside deck area on a beautiful scenic day. My wife had the Reuben with fries and I had the daily special salad. Both were tasty and the server, Elaine, was great.
Diverse and large menu -- something to please everyone! The lamb and beef shorts ribs were superb! The pan-fried oysters were very good. Substitutions were with no hesitation -- great service!
The view from the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. For dinner my husband had the prime rib and he loved it. I had the scallops and it was the best meal I’d had in months. Francesco was our delightful waiter who gave us excellent service. We will definitely return when we visit Bend again.
Steak entree ordered medium arrived well done. Waiter was informed and GM visited the table.
Charge for the steak was removed from our bill. We are planning a family party in July at the
restaurant. We think BTC dinning is one of Bend's best!
Always consistently excellent menu, with added specials every night.. quality service and good wine choices,,,
Noise level was a deterrent to an otherwise fun occasion
Beautiful setting and exceptional service. Quiet and spacious.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The view of the lake and sunset from our table was beautiful and we were able to enjoy a nice conversation without loud music or noise. Excellent!
This restaurant has one of the prettiest settings in the area and the building itself is amazing. I was anxious to take a new friend there for dinner because I lived in Broken Top for many years and always loved the restaurant. Perhaps there's a new chef...because the food was underwhelming. I was embarrassed although my friend didn't complain. the rack of lamb used to be marvelous but was overcooked and the presentation...well there wasn't any. Asparagus was nearly raw and instead of a starch, the lamb was served with carrots cut into tiny dice. Unfortunately there was a wedding in the Great Room and it was very noisy when the DJ started playing. I will give it another try.
Supper nice, friendly staff, great value for the food and amazing view
We choose this quiet restaurant frequently and are always happy with the food -- delicious --, the service -- attentive and cheerful -- and the ambiance -- great views and relatively quiet. Great job all 'round!
Walking into the restaurant, you feel very welcome and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Francesco is a very charming, efficient, knowledgeable waiter who serves up the scrumptious meal. The sun setting beyond the beautiful pond and mountain is the perfect way to enjoy your visit to Broken Top Restaurant.
The food and service were great with a wonderful view.
Call me old fashioned, but I really enjoy dining at a place with white tablecloths, a beautiful view, friendly waiters, great food and low noise. My only worry is that as the Broken Top residents return from their Winter escapes, it will become more difficult to get a table! We have been to BT several times over the winter and have yet to find one thing about which to write disparagingly. Go with friends. Enjoy conversation. Enjoy food.
Always superb in every way
Lee, our server, was delightful. He was friendly and knowledgeable, offering information on the various dishes and wines. The prime rib was excellent as was the rest of the food. We will definitely be returning.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Broken Top. Lee was an outstanding waiter and we can't say enough good things about our evening. If you haven't given this place a try, do it soon....you won't be disappointed.
Wonderful roast beef. I love the end cut. Cooked to perfection
Was a perfect evening, our server was personable and very helpful. We took all of his suggestions and he was right. The prime rib cooked perfectly and generous portions. We had desserts and watched the sunset, that’s what the Northwest is all about.
Lee is a great waiter, food was excellent. Great menu choices with daily specials,
Birthday dinner with amazing dessert
A wonderful place for a date night dinner! Or with a group of friends. The staff was so knowledgeable and attentive, but not overly. The food was amazing!! Top Notch!
The food is excellent, thought a bit spendy. Great wine selection, again spendy. But it's a great place to go with family and celebrate a 91st birthday. We sat next to the fireplace, which the birthday guest greatly enjoyed ("warming her old bones"). Francesco was our waiter; he is from a small town near Venice, Italy and has a heavy accent, but we greatly enjoyed his service. It was the night after Valentine's Day and he provided us with the Valentine's wine special list, so we got a bit of a discount on wines. His recommendations for meals were spot on. Highly recommend.
A wonderful way to spend Valentine's Day: the food was moderately priced and wonderful. An added bonus was the Jack Krouscoup trio, with jack playing wonderful ballads on the piano to add to the mood. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Pleasantly surprised for our first visit. Service a little slow, but overall all staff very accommodating. Would highly recommend the restaurant. Great hall was beautiful! Loved the jazz band music.
The food was excellent, the service very professional and friendly. It was a wonderful experience, especially since it was Valentine's Day and our Anniversary. We will eat there again.
Delicious food and fantastic service in a beautiful building with great views of the Broken Top golf course.
We returned to Broken Top Club restaurant with our son, his wife and their two teenage children to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. We were first there in January, 1999, when we celebrated the wedding of our son and his wife. The setting is breathtakingly gorgeous, much the same as it was 20 years ago.
We were impressed by the hospitality and service of our waitperson, Lee. He was very professional and attentive. Two of us had the nightly specials; two had scallops; and the kids had pizzas. All enjoyed their meals. The adults shared a fine bottle of La Crema pinot noir recommended by our waiter Lee. We shared a chocolate dessert provided by the restaurant to honor our son's and his wife's anniversary. It was a lovely evening, made even nicer by Broken Top.
We were delighted with our dinner at Broken Top. Every single part was delicious: super good butter lettuce salad & I couldn’t believe how good the prime rib sandwich was. My husband had the bolognese pasta & it was outstanding. Beautiful setting too with lovely high beamed ceilings. We plan on making it a regular dinner spot.
We had the bison short ribs and seafood stew. Both were very good and tasty.
It's a lovely setting, quiet and the food is always superb!
