Fabulous food and service! Would definitely recommend to a friend.
I've been coming here since they opened and I can't say enough positive things about the owners Jerry and Tom. The food is always good, I've never had a bad meal here, ever! Friendly staff, clean, affordable, just a great place to hang out or for special occasions.
Chuck as great. The good is always amazing. We always love to go here for brunch or dinner.
Great brunch menu!
Cellars, formerly, Broadway Cellars, never disappoints. With their specials of $5.00 martinis to $6.00 Burger Night, to the amazing dinners paired with wines, this local venue is a great find.
The brined pork chop was delicious, tender, and large. The fried calamari appetizer was also very good, with a portion size nearly that of an entree. And the brownie sundae was top-notch. All in all, it was a very enjoyable dinner at a reasonable price in a conversation-friendly setting.
The brunch was delicious with many good choices. Bottomless mimosas and bloody marys made for a fun afternoon. We never felt rushed and were able to relax in a very comfortable atmosphere. The service was excellent and our waiter very friendly.
Service and food are always excellent.
Anthony, our server was very polite and seemed knowledgeable about the food and drinks we ordered. The young man that brought out our food was also very polite.
The meal I ordered and the leftovers of my dinner companion (that I also ate) were delicious.
The music seemed a bit loud - possibly because there weren’t that many other diners there and we were in one of the corner/wings where the sound was reverberating off of the walls. I also thought it a bit odd that at least one of the songs was about Christmas - in April...
That was my second time dinning at Cellars and my second good experience. I’ll definitely be back again.
Brunch was fantastic as usual!
John was our server - charismatic and a sense of humor. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted and asked if we had a reservation (which we did). We were early for our reservation, and it was nice to see how busy they were, we got our: table, order and meal in under :30 minutes. My Salmon Betty was delish with the cucumber salad - my partner ate a meal he has had in the past (Carbonara), both of us taking the Blood Mary “almost unlimited” deal. Thank you kindly for a great meal.
Amazing food, attentive server- went for brunch, and would definitely return for dinner.
We have been to Cellars a few times before and have always had a great experience. This past Sunday(March 24), unfortunately was not the most pleasant experience. Our seat was in a corner and seemed to lend itself to be easily forgotten. We waited a very long time for service...waiting for our order to be taken, waiting for our food to arrive, and waiting for our check. Nobody came back to check on us after we did get our meals. Like I said, we have always had a very pleasant experience in the past so this was surprising. I don’t know if you were under staffed on that particular day or not. I hope to have more attentiveness during our next dining experience.
Love the food, service but the hostess needs to be little more inviting. She is never HAPPY FRIENDLY! Every time I visit this establishment
Cellars has become a “go to” restaurant in my neighborhood when I want consistently great food and service. It can be fancy or simple - always wonderful.
Celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with their corn beef w/Brussels sprouts and root veggie hash - just beautiful rainbow of color, topped with two poached eggs and mustard sauce (mine on the side) - absolute perfection and so artfully presented. Unexpectedly surprised since I’m not a Brussels sprout fan - it was sooooo good!! Lovely way to celebrate the day!! ☘️
Had to wait quite a while even though we had a reservation, but otherwise everything was excellent!
Came here to meet friends that I haven’t seen in a while. We came for the $10 bottomless mimosas because I used to think it was so good! Long story short, the hostess/ owner is rude. She came up to us and said the one thing you don’t say “do you guys mind? I have another reservation in an hour?” Always been a Loyal customer but she ruined it for me. Won’t be back. Go to Onward! Better food, better atmosphere, better mimosas haha
Celebrated a teammates birthday and had a wonderful time. The only negative is only being able to take 4 forms of payment per check. Food and service was wonderful and the charm is really why we keep coming back.
A wonderful dinner here with my inlaws, who are new to the neighborhood. The Caesar salad and the pork chop were amazing, and my wife and father in law loved the wild mushroom ravioli. Warm, welcoming hospitality on a rainy night from the whole team, from the owner, to the server, to the friendly guy who kept the water glasses full. We had a great experience from start to finish.
The food and service was excellent and the location is easy to get to by public transportation.
We LOVE Cellars! Reliably good food, superior service. A neighborhood gem!
Too cold. We had to wear out costs while we ate, and it was 20 degrees outside
This is my go-to place from Brunch. This restaurant is a staple on the Chicago Northside. The owners, are wonderful people. We love and support their labor of love. The Crab cake Benedict is my favorite!!!!
Love this neighborhood gem- so consistently delicious. Amazing weekend Brunch with a real deal bottomless mimosa, as long as you behave!
Meatloaf was to die for! Melt in your mouth quality. Enough to share with my girlfriend too. Service by Chuck was top-notch. Only complaint is the temp was a little on the chilly side which was surprising being that is was a warmer (although rainy) evening. My girlfriend left her jacket on the entire time. But the meatloaf more than made up for it.
Excellent brunch menu with many choices. I had the salmon Benedict, short stack and chorizo eggs skillet. Bottomless bloody and mimosas for cheap. Comfortable atmosphere that allows you to linger.
I appreciate the ambiance and the customer service has been very good both times I have gone. I definitely appreciate the vegetarian options that are offered. Our most recent experience was on Valentine's night, and they did a really good job of making it special
Always enjoy eating at this restaurant. The food is outstanding and service always excellent. The owners are lovely and do everything to make their customers happy.
We love Broadway Cellars. The staff is always so accommodating. The quantity and price of food you get is always amazing. They do bottomless mimosas and coffee. :)
Our experience was good overall. The food was great and they have unlimited bloody mary/mimosa combo for $15! Nice comfortable atmosphere. However every time I have gone there, I find the hostess to be rather unfriendly and rude. But that would definitely not stop me from returning.
We walked to Broadway Cellars on a cold, windy night. The food was great, our server was attentive and we had a wonderful time with our friends. The only recommendation is to dim the lights and possibly put a little candle on the table, the atmosphere would feel much cozier. Our entrees were great value for the price as the servings were decent. No need to order an appetizer. We had the pork brine, eggplant parm, meatloaf and the pork special, everyone was pleased. Don't pass on the warm bread with olive oil, it is a real treat!
This was our first trip here and certainly won't be the last. Great vibe, wonderful service and the food - OMFG fantastic.
Al was awesome! Food was great!
Our server was excellent. We had a reservation for 6 for a birthday Sunday brunch. Several of us ordered bottomless mimosas and almost everyone had coffee. Our server kept up with all of our coffee needs, and kept mimosas flowing. She made good suggestions for orders and really added to our experience. Everyone's food was delicious! I'd never been here for brunch before and it's excellent!
Great brunch spot. Relatively easy parking on Broadway
Enjoyed our dinner very much. Walked in and we sat right away. Food was excellent. Came very fast. Never felt rushed. I will come back.
The staff were fun and friendly. The food was great! We will return again for brunch!
It was great, brought my newborn and they placed us at a table where I had some room to keep my baby in the stroller and it didn’t disturb anyone. Food is always good just like the service. Love this place!
Introduced friends to a place I love! We enjoyed the restaurant buzz and the delicious food!
Been here for Mon. Burgers, and now they have a new menu and Happy Hour to enjoy. Love this place! The service is wonderful. People go for the food but we also go for the drinks. Can’t wait to go back again and try some more of the other menu items. This visit we had the pork shank and let me tell you there was plenty to take home and enjoy again. As always, the drinks were good as well as the Tomato Soup to warm you up on a chilly day.
Can't wait to go back and enjoy again. They are probably tired of us coming in so often, but we will return.
