Horrible service. No one came to our table for over 8 minutes for drinks. Finally had to go to the hostess stand and get the manager to get drinks. Just bad service throughout but the food was good.
The menu on line stated grits and shrimp plus prime rib. You had the grits but no shrimp. In place of the prime rib you had a small piece of pork tenderloin. Needless to say I was disappointed.
My wife and I came for Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was fantastic and the server did a great job.
The problem was he was overwhelmed and had too many tables. I’ve called the restaurant and have yet to hear anything back from them. There was a point during our meal where 20 minutes went by without a check-in from our server...mainly because he had too many tables.
It’s disappointing because the food was incredible but the lack of support from management makes me very hesitant to come back
The food was absolutely delicious! The service was good but not outstanding, however it was Valentine’s evening, so a very busy night. I also left extra instructions for a birthday message when signing up for our reservation, which failed to be noticed. I will definitely try again!
Standard brunch buffet. Smoked salmon was quite good.
Our food was excellent and the wait staff was very accommodating--they were attentive without being tiresome. Would definitely go back.
Was a great experience, we enjoy the food in the ambiance service is very good will come back in a while since we've been there and forgotten how good the food was.
How this is an "award winning" brunch is beyond me. Service was awful( I am pretty sure there was one waiter and then the manager came and helped bus the tables. The food selection was the worst. Won't be going back to this one. Way too many better choices in Chattanooga
Apparently I should have called prior to making reservationS to ask what was on the buffet. Disappointed they served ham on the carving station right after Christmas. They also had 2 types of salmon. Variety would have been nice.
It was awesome
It had been awhile since we had visited for brunch and most likely, it will be awhile before we return. Overall, we were disappointed in the holiday brunch. The food was "ok" but nothing to really rave about. I ordered a special omelet but when I returned to pick it up, I discovered it had items in it I didn't request. Someone else got my omelet. The ham and collards were very good, but other than that, no one in our group was really impressed. The vegetables were limited while sweets (store bought, at least that's what they tasted like) and meats were plentiful. Santa and the service was good but they will need to up their game for me to make a special return. Given the overall taste of the food, it was not worth the value.
A large variety of food on the buffet. Food was fresh and great tasting. Brunch opens at 11a. I suggest eating near 11a. I have been there at later times and the food was not as fresh. Best to make reservations. Come hungry because the choices are endless.
Our server (Jeffrey) was pretty unfriendly and annoyed if we asked for anything but the food was awesome. I would go back and probably just ask for different server if I got him again.
The hostess was very pleasant seating us. Our server was horrible. We ordered our drinks and brought two straws for three of us. We asked for another straw, but never received it. We place our food order. We received our food (not by our server). The two vegetable plates were very good. The chicken plate, the chicken was slightly burned on the outside and dry on the inside. The server never came by to ask how our food was or to refill our drinks. The server then drops off the check, never asking if we would like dessert. We patiently waited for the server to come take the payment, but was never seen. It wasn't busy during the time we were there. We went to the hostess (I believe her name was Jessica) to pay the bill. She was very sweet and understanding. She did give a discount on the bill due to the horrible chicken. I would give her 5 stars. She was a great representative for your restaurant.
The food and choices were great. I have not been to Broad Street grille in awhile and it is just as good if not better.
Wife and I brunch
I made a reservation for my nieces 5th grade promotion lunch. We had a few kids and adults. Everything was great. The food was good, the service was great. We'll definitely be back.
What a wonderful experience, the hostess and waitress were extremely accommodating. We were a party of 15 that were celebrating my son's graduation from college. They communicated with me prior to arriving and accommodated changes I had to make. Our dining experience felt very private and the food was outstanding I would highly recommend Broad Street Grille for all of your special occasions.
And what a sweet surprise the free valet parking was. A complete delite.
Delicious food; calm, quiet ambiance; wait staff, hostess, and food prep staff all personable and helpful. Will return when in town!
I took my bother and sister in law to brunch for their birthdays and they loved it! My son and I are regulars there and truly enjoy each trip and now we have more family who enjoys it and will join us as well.
Seating needs updating and waffles were a little too hard for my liking. Cost Value of brunch too much, but the majority of the food is great! Would go again.
Everything was great. The food was very good and the staff took care of all our needs. Did not have to wait for anything.
I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a home away from
home. Food selection was great! Everyone loved the omelette station which I enjoyed, along with the salmon. Service was well-timed and friendly.
Service was fantastic and the food was very good. I was disappointed they didn’t have the shrimp and grits bar as advertised on the website. A little pricey for what’s offered but overall a good experience.
Lots of choices for a buffet brunch. We always enjoy it when we go.
We went for Sunday brunch. I had seen it listed every week in Chattanooga events calendar and thought we should try it. Food was very good. I was a little disappointed that I had seen shrimp and grits listed in some of the prior information, but did not see on buffet. Service was overall poor. There were only about 8-10 tables occupied in the restaurant and the 4 servers seemed to be doing other things or standing at reception desk most of the time. Our drink glasses were empty for quite a while before we could get servers attention that we would like refills. Also, we were stacking dirty plates when we came back from a second trip to buffet. They also sat for a while before picked up. We had two glasses that were given to us that had lipstick on them and, once again, it took a while to find someone to replace these. Would like to say I would try again, but there are too many great places for Sunday brunch in Chattanooga to risk it.
It was my wife’s birthday and we had a great time with family celebrating the occasion.
I attended The Chattanoogan for brunch for the first time around this same time last year. The food along with the dessert selection was better last year. Almost all the desserts were pumpkin. The only chocolate items were muffins and smores. No kind of choclate cake or chocolate cheese cake, only pumpkin. Couple that with the fact that unlimited Mimosas are no longer included in the cost but the cost remained the same. The changes are not making me want to make going to The Chattanoogan the Sunday after Christmas a tradition. On another note the attandant April was very accommodating putting tables together for our party of about 10. When I tried to make the reservation online it was not allowing me to reserve for 10. I had to make 2 separate reservations for 5 people a piece.
Great Sunday Brunch! Great selection and Omlettes made per request. A bit pricey but valet parking included.
The brunch buffet was impressive. There were definitely lots of options. I do have to say that the waffles were the only thing that everyone at the table found to be lackluster. They tasted freezer burnt. Other than that, everything else was perfect. The selection of desserts was my favorite part. There were so many to choose from. Of course, it was better last year when the mimosas were part of the buffet price, but you can still order one for a buck. Not too bad. I will definitely be back when we visit Chattanooga again.
The price was too high for the Fri. Seafood buffet. Very disappointed with selections.
Great Seafood buffet on Friday night. Pleasant surprise find on a business trip.
I went to the Broad street grill to celebrate my birthday with friends during the Friday night Seafood buffet and we all thought it was great!!!. We all want to go back soon.
Amazing food, amazing location, amazing customer service, amazing everything!
The food was very good. Only issue was some of the meat was a bit dry, but otherwise the selection was good and the options were very high class.
The food selection is always good and well seasoned. I would advise the facility to pay attention to seating. Some of the seats have become quite worn with cracks in the leather. For a facility of this caliber I would suspect that more attention to detail would be placed on removing any seating not suitable for the restaurant.
I've noticed that the food selections have been reduced, however, the quality is still quite good. (Visiting during the Sunday Brunch).
i absolutely loved the seafood buffet and will be returning soon
Sunday brunch had a large variety of foods, from fresh salads, different cheeses, fresh shrimp to entrees. There were the usual breakfast items such as bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy but also made to order omelets. Lunch items such as salmon, ham, lobster mac and cheese along with a variety of pastries and desserts were included in the buffet. As an added bonus, mimosas were only $1. The atmosphere was quiet with soft music and encouraged conversation between friends. Will definitely go there again and will recommend to friends and family.
Champagne used to be included in price for Sunday Brunch. Now it’s a separate charge. Food was just ok.
Treated visiting family to Italian Buffet night & we were not disappointed! The food was fresh, a huge variety of main, side & dessert dishes. Our waiter Justin completed (& made it) the perfect dining experience. We will definately be returning soon & often!!
