And have you heard the talk about brunch? Those donuts though.

He had a party of 10 with little kids. the server David was amazing. He was on top of what the kids needed and made it a wonderful, easy dinning experience. We will be back. The food was very good.
Love the bubbles with every bite
Loved the Atmosphere. It was loud but not bad. Food was good. Waiter was ok
had the chicken wings and ribs, super yummy and got some spice to it! obviously the cheese fondue is delicious and great choice of drinks!
The service was sub par. I called and confirmed my reservation the night before. Part of my party arrived before me and gave them my name. They were told I didn’t have a reservation. When I got there I informed the hostess that I did indeed have a reservation, I called the night before to confirm and I have an email confirming my reservation. She said “oh it looks like some of your party has already been sat that’s why I couldn’t find it”. Nope. No one from our party had been seated. She was extremely rude. So basically they say someone else in our reservation. She then seated us in a private room, which was actually very nice since we had two small children and they could run around. Our waitress was also pretty unhappy to be working. She just seemed salty and irritated. The manager though was very nice and our food was relatively quick for our party size and very tasty. I have been here before and had great service. I would like to think the poor service was due to the fact that it was later in the day on Mother’s day and they were all just tired.
It was Mother’s Day so the vibe was a bit different than usual. It was Buffet Style which was not mentioned on Open Table when we made our reservation. The food was ok, we go frequently and know their menu is very good, but the buffet food was not worth the 35+ we paid per person. Food wasn’t very hot, the prime rib was dry with not much choice for sauce or topping. And I was a bit disappointed when I took a big bite of my strawberry shortcake dessert and the topping was more like whipped butter than whipped cream.
We will go back but not for a large event or special occasion if there is no Ala cart menu to order off of.
We really enjoyed our Mother’s Day brunch buffet. It wasn’t perfect because the food wasn’t quite hot enough but for a buffet temperature can be a nexus. Otherwise the service, all you can drink Mimosas for $10, was excellent. I do recommend Brix Tavern and I will be back.
Great place for Mother’s Day Brunch. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch.
Prime rib was extremely chewy - not good quality. Was hoping for better.
I ordered the Prime Rib medium rare. It came to the table brown through the middle. When I asked to get a new medium rare serving, the waitress said that the au jus was brown arguing I should keep it. She did bring a new piece, in a bowl without a steak knife or the veggies that came with the meal originally. Disappointing because the Ahi appetizer is fantastic! I would still recommend this place but stay away from ordering steaks or prime rib.
Our waitress was amazing and the food was exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend.
Food was great, service up to par- definitely an excellent choice for brunch!
The food was amazing, the bottomless mimosas were wonderful, and the environment was great. The biscuits and gravy in particular were spectacular. Would highly recommend for brunch.
Great food, wonderful and friendly, efficient service by Ariel, in spite of the full house this morning! What a fantastic way to finish off a very special weekend with my "girls"!
They unfortunately didn’t give us the outdoor table we had reserved but were quick to improvise and make us feel special!
A terrible terrible experience. Sat down and received drinks and salads in a decent amount of time....mains ordered and then waited and waited and waited...over 45 minutes. No main dishes. Waitress did come over and apologize but the manager never showed. We walked out without our main dishes with a Saturday night ruined by Brix.
great beer selections, halibut was great as always, tried prime rib sandwich
and it was the best I have enjoyed outside of Nebraska. always good vibes.
Our waiter was very very nice. But the food was just mediocre.
It was for a friends birthday.
Everything was good but it was way too noisy to the point we couldn't hear each other.
Hostess rubbed me the wrong way. She was friendly when we check in for our reservation up until the point of me asking if there was any available tables inside, but maybe it was just me. Otherwise, our server was awesome, very personable and the food was tasty.
Awesome and thanks for flexibility of updating reservation at last minute
Service and food excellent!
Our server Duncan was great!
Will definitely return to try more of their yummy dishes.
Their happy hour is an exceptional value - lots of choices and wonderful food. The place was full and lively on a Thursday with live music. Reservations are recommended.
Nice upscale pub and the food was great. Perfect to grab a beer and watch a game without loud crowd noise.
Easter dinner turned out to be pretty low key. Sunday is all day happy hour. We caught the Blazer's playoff game and the staff were really friendly and attentive.
The Easter brunch was not what I had anticipated. The sausage was under-cooked, the meat carving station did not have good cuts of meat, there was a strange variety of foods and it did not feel fresh. The Eggs Benedict was the highlight of the meal. Service was very slow; the waitress was hard to find. She included another table's signed check with our table's check, which is very unprofessional. I will never return to this restaurant as there are so many better options in Portland.
We came for Easter brunch. It was fantastic - had everything we loved off their regular menu, and for the kids too! Great service and great energy!
We were so looking forward to trying brunch here; sadly, we left highly disappointed. Food was mediocre at best, although the presentation was on point. The best dish by far was the eggs benedict on polenta. The hollandaise was ultra-creamy and delicious. We found the majority of the other offerings either lacking in flavor or creativity~ Especially the prime rib, which looked scrumptious, but was very under-seasoned.
First impression of service was wonderful, as the hostess was friendly and accommodating. The wait-staff, however left a lot to be desired. Due to the tight spaces, diners were constantly forced step aside to let servers through (which is fine), but we scarcely heard an “excuse me” or “on your right/behind you. ”. Also, drinks were often in empty, although my daughter mentioned she often saw our server “standing around.” Finally, the worst part was them charging my younger daughter as an adult without inquiring about her age. Maybe Easter Brunch was not the best time to try Brix for the first time?
I wouldn't do a buffet brunch here again. All the food was cold and very mediocre. I have been here before and ordered off the menu and It was great. I think it was just because It was a buffet that made It not up to par. It was Easter so there were a lot of kids with parents that could not control them, so too much crying and screaming for me.
We went for Easter Brunch. The food served was good. There was a small variety of breakfast and lunch items and it was satisfying for everyone. There were no salads, however. We would have enjoyed a few salad choices.
The ambience is very nice and the staff is super friendly and food came out quickly even on a busy Saturday night. I wish the food was better - the rotisserie chicken looked great but it was over cooked and dry. My wife ordered a simple marinara pizza that was very salty. The sides with the chicken - mac and cheese and veggies were delish - those were best part of meal.
Went here for brunch. Service was very slow and we waited a long time despite a reservation for a table. Ordered a Bloody Mary and couldn’t even finish it...it tastes like it was premade a long time earlier. Food was marginal at best and the hash browns were cold. Can’t figure out why it was so busy other than the bottomless mimosas. They were sitting premade in giant open jugs in heavy traffic areas....gross. Won’t go back.
Always a great spot for brunch, bubbles with every bite, fresh donuts to your table. How can you go wrong.
Came with family - husband, son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter (7), for dinner. It was happy hour and they had some excellent food and drinks for this event. Dinner menu is extensive so a lot for everyone from which to choose. Service was good also.
We had a 26 person prom dinner at Brix. Excellent variety to choose on the menu, reasonable prices. Highly recommend Brix!
I came in with my boyfriend and the restaurant was beautiful. the decor was so nice and the service was very good. food was amazing. definitely coming back
Great food - but didn’t receive what I ordered. Ordered Chicken-Fried Chicken. Got Chicken and Waffles. It was fine - but not the same.
We went on a Saturday at 1pm for brunch. Everyone was kind and efficient. The food was excellent. We were even taken early for our reservation. I recommend the continuous bubbles (basically bottom-less mimosas), and the ham hash dish. So good!
Everything was great! I was so appreciative that the hostess accommodated us with booth seating, as I have a current back situation and can not sit comfortably in a regular dining room chair. Having my back up against something solid, made the difference in a bad experience and a great time with my friends. Thanks so much for understanding.
