Brix never disappoints. Always fresh ingredients and interesting combinations. This time I tried the cassoulet, though, and it was way, way too peppery. Inedible. It reminded me of a Costco sample.....pepper in place of flavor. But one bad dish won’t keep us from returning to one of our favorite restaurants!!
We had such a great experience at Brix! Our waitress, Marissa, was super attentive and guided us through the menu since it was our first time there. The food was delicious and seasoned perfectly! The New York strip was super tender and juicy. Not to mention, branzino was cooked to perfection and the broth definitely enhanced the overall flavor profile. The dessert was quite tasty; not too overly sweet. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend anyone to try this place out!
Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding. We celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary here. We were greeted at our table by our waitress who presented us with celebratory glasses of champagne on the house. Such a nice surprise. We ordered 2 signature cocktails which were both amazing. We then had the Pizzicletta bread and olives as an appetizer. Our entrees were the duck breast and the cavatelli pasta with sausage and kale. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We enjoyed it all. Our waitress was wonderful and paced our meal perfectly. I can say that this was easily one of the best meals we’ve had together in the last year or so. Fantastic. We will definitely dine here again.
only thing I could say that wasn't 10 stsrs was I asked for a medium filet and got medium well. Other than that, 2 thumbs up
Always great atmosphere and food. Will return soon!
I was very impressed with the items i had...squash soup, lobster claw and a mixed drink. Everything was subtly layered and fresh which I loved. My service was very good and the ambiance is super cute. I will eat again if in Flagstaff. Worth it.
Brix is the best place we ate while in Flagstaff! The ambiance is cozy and the food is fabulous - all fresh ingredients. The potions are just right - enough to enjoy an appetizer, salad/soup and entree without feeling overly stuffed afterwards. They also have a nice cocktail selection. The service was outstanding.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. From our
If you are in Flagstaff, this is a can't miss restaurant!! Completely unassuming, but once inside you will be wowed! Terrific wine list, excellent menu and awesome service!!
Excellent dinner at Brix. The fish was outstanding. Little chilly in the front room, but the great wine warmed us up!
We were celebrating my wife’s birthday, the food and service was the best we have experienced since moving to Arizona 2 years ago.
Wonderful, small restaurant located in downtown Flagstaff. Excellent wine selection. The menu isn’t too large, and there are many great food options, including Gluten Free and Vegan options. The food was wonderful. They also have a cute bar area. We will definitely go back.
Wonderful ambiance , worm welcome , good food and terrific service
What else can you ask for?
I think that the best staff might have been given the night off following the MLK holiday. Though the food was fine, service was poor. The room wasn't crowded but the hostess sat everyone right next to one another so that we were able to "enjoy" everyone's conversation. My son's pasta was very undercooked. He's a chef himself, so would never send a meal back, but if it had been mine, I would have.
We loved everything about Brix! The food and service were amazing and my food allergies were taken seriously, which was super impressive and appreciated. The drink menu was also very well done. We will most definitely return next time our travels take us to Flagstaff.
When I am in town for business, I always make sure I have dinner here. Never disappointing. Excellent.
The wait staff was the best along with the food
The food and wine were fine, and the service was great. It was a bit loud at 7:30 when we sat down, but by 9:30 or so, the place had cleared out and we could talk without talking loudly.
Went for my husband’s birthday. Couldn’t have gone to a better place. Michael, our waiter, Emily our hostess, and everyone in between was utterly perfect. Food was divine. We will be back!!! Thank you all.
We enjoyed a beautiful evening in Flagstaff. Everything about Brix made the dining experience exquisite. The entire staff was friendly, professional and helpful. We will be back!
Outstanding food and service. Already looking forward to our next ski trip in flagstaff so we can eat there again.
I would highly recommend BRIX! Don’t let the crooked sign on San Francisco Street deter you from this place. It’s lovely and food is very good! We’ve been dining there for years. It’s our #1 place to dine.
They were very kind and accommodating the two of us and our toddler. The waitress was exceptionally attentive and made the whole experience even better. The duck was fantastic and the seafood special was great also. Very nice experience.
My husband and I went to Brix to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed! We were immediately greeted, seated and treated to some bubbly in celebration. We ordered the poached lobster as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious and just enough to get our appetites going. My husband ordered the branzino and was delighted with the perfectly crispy exterior and flaky interior. I ordered the pork chop and was also similarly impressed. We also ordered, and I can not recommend this enough, the apple and pear tartlet. Flaky, buttery and seasoned well. Served with the most delightful cream cheese ice cream! Very highly recommend this restaurant. The food was lovely, our seating in a smaller room made us feel like we were enjoying our meal in a friends house. The staff were extremely helpful, informative and courteous. Bartenders were fabulous with spot on recommendations And even better drinks! A nice quiet spot to enjoy a fine meal!
The food was fantastic. The service, however, was very lacking. 15 minutes to get a first cocktail. In between we were asked what we wanted to order. Well, we hadn't had a cocktail yet! Got the cocktail. Ordered our meal, and very specifically ordered certain glasses of wine to go with appetizer and main course. Got the wine. 1/2 hour went by. We had drunk our wine. Table next to us already had their meal. Got our meal, but the wine we ordered was long gone. We asked to be compted 2 glasses, which we were. We were 3/4 of the way through the appetizer before getting the glasses of wine. Got the wine. Got the main courses, which had different wines.......it was kind of a mess. Food was delicious.
Excellent food and service in a nice atmosphere, a true fine dining experience
Great menu and wine selection. A lot of unusual and interesting ingredients in the dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Exactly as it should have been
We set up a last-minute date at Brix the other night. What a treat this restaurant is. They have a stellar wine list, menu heavy on meat items but enough to serve a vegan or vegetarian as well, and an overall unique focus on local and slightly out of the ordinary foods. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable around the kitchen, but I had to look up what a panisse is. Our waiter was delightful, although it looked like they sent him out to sell and then move on to sell elsewhere. It wasn’t a concern, though - everyone from the hostess to the bartender pitched in to keep service running smoothly. We enjoyed a shared app board (comes in cheese, charcuterie, or a mix), and a larger app portion of cassoulet for one and the aforementioned panisse with veggies for the other. Even though the waiter was a bit concerned it wouldn’t be enough, it was plenty and allowed room for a semi-deconstructed sticky toffee pudding (“date cake”) and yummy and light blackberry-wine sorbet. Overall, a treat for a midweek rendezvous in Flagstaff for the evening.
Flagstaff has become a real foodie town, covering a wide variety of tastes, styles, and prices. Brix is at the top of the quality spectrum and when they are on their game well worth a visit. On this night, not a busy one, our meal was over a relaxed time span and they were very accommodating and attentive without being obtrusive, so great service. Cocktails were superb, though pricey, add creative. Brix does a great job with their gosh special. Highly recommended.
Amazing spot. I try to eat there each time I’m in Flagstaff.
Great food nice quit service was great when we started but our server was cut about half way through service then we were kind of left alone for the most part and had to order our desert from the host got the check from a different person not good for my self but was very good. and had to ask about the soup of the day and catch of the day not good but food was good thx
Delicious food, knowledgeable staff and very accommodating to diet restrictions. There were a few extra things added to our bill that we didn't order but the wait staff was quick to remedy the issue. Also, quite a few younger children dining that made the experience a bit louder than we anticipated. Overall, amazing. We will definitely be returning.
Exceptional food and service
Waiter and entire staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious and flavored to perfection.
Amazing food!! Amazing service
Really lovely meal, great service!
Lovely fine dining experience, best in Flagstaff. The food is consistently good. It's always busy but doesn't get too loud.
