Brix Restaurant and Wine Bar

Flagstaff has become a real foodie town, covering a wide variety of tastes, styles, and prices. Brix is at the top of the quality spectrum and when they are on their game well worth a visit. On this night, not a busy one, our meal was over a relaxed time span and they were very accommodating and attentive without being obtrusive, so great service. Cocktails were superb, though pricey, add creative. Brix does a great job with their gosh special. Highly recommended.

Great food nice quit service was great when we started but our server was cut about half way through service then we were kind of left alone for the most part and had to order our desert from the host got the check from a different person not good for my self but was very good. and had to ask about the soup of the day and catch of the day not good but food was good thx

Delicious food, knowledgeable staff and very accommodating to diet restrictions. There were a few extra things added to our bill that we didn't order but the wait staff was quick to remedy the issue. Also, quite a few younger children dining that made the experience a bit louder than we anticipated. Overall, amazing. We will definitely be returning.

I have eaten here a number of times, as I’m a local resident. I brought a good friend, who was visiting me from Uruguay, South America. This was the first time in nearly 23 years that we have met. Dinner was excellent. My friend travels a great deal on business and often has buffet type conference food. He stated that this meal was the best restaurant meal that he has ever had in the United States!

Dinner was absolutely fabulous .... small quaint cottage in a hidden location.

Brix never disappoints. The food, wine, service and ambiance were outstanding. The extra large cheese and charcuterie board was perfect for four. We felt like we were in France.

This was our 2nd time dining at Brix. We had the duck both times and it was fabulous! Love everything about Brix.

Food was very good, both our appetizer and main meals. Service was excellent and sincerely interested in pleasing. Ambiance was a bit rustic, more like a neighborhood locals place than a fine dining establishment, but don't let that put you off. Pasta is homemade daily. Table next to ours had steaks which looked really good, so we already have our next meal planned. Good place, worth it.

The food was amazing!

ordered pork chop - was told it would be medium. It was well done. tasted fine but chewy.
Service was spotty. sometimes very good, sometimes so-so.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Brix and they did not disappoint! It’s a smaller restaurant but makes it that much more intimate. Our server, Sarah, was spectacular! She gave us great recommendations, made our dinner personalized and was very tentative. The food was absolutely amazing! We can’t wait to go back and visit.

Bad first impression. Hostess was rude and had no idea of customer service. We arrived 4 minutes early and were told we would have to wait the 4 minutes. Restaurant was no more than half full. We elected to sit at the bar. Service provided by Bear was very good. Food was good.

People who work there are full of themselves. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere .

Very inventive menu. Probably the best restaurant in Flagstaff. My only complaint is the use of canola very unhealthy. However, the server was helpful asking the kitchen which dishes used them & which could be substituted with olive oil.

Took my wife for our wedding anniversary as a nice dinner to finish out our vacation with a great meal. Well, Brix certainly delivered on that. The hostess congratulated us on our anniversary, and brought us to a nice table in one of the smaller rooms in the restaurant. After our server introduced himself and congratulated us, he returned with two glasses of champagne, compliments of the restaurant, which was a much appreciated gift.

The food was amazing. We decided on the bread board which featured local sourdough from Pizzicletta (local pizza place) and it featured Brix’s house butter. So good. The entrees we ordered were the Farm Chicken and the Cavatelli.

The Farm Chicken was so tender and moist, and the sweet corn purée and succotash really supported the chicken well while the chile gastrique took the dish up over the top.

The Cavatelli was cooked perfect, the sausage and mushrooms were spiced well (a little too spicy for my wife but she enjoyed it too much to complain haha). The addition of kale added some nice texture. All in all, a fantastic pasta dish.

The service here is nothing short of excellent, from front to back, everyone was super friendly. It felt like a special occasion and romantic even though there were others around, and I liked that it never felt like a stuffy high end place where you have to be super prim and proper but still was very elegant. Prices were very fair for the food quality and the attention they pay to procuring local products and sustainable kitchen practices.

I can not recommend Brix highly enough for anyone who is looking for a fantastic high quality meal with service that is up there with the best. Can’t wait to come eat here again next time we are in town!

I think they had an odd night. The front was not in sync with the kitchen. Tables in our area were tight. I could share my food with my table neighbors

Yes I would and already have recommended Brix to friends! Dinner was delicious. Cocktail and wines were fantastic. Best of all was the staff with the manager of the front of the house along with our waitress , Hannah, being extremely knowledgeable, kind and witty. Was great fun and fabulous dining experience. We've been here several times over the years. Shared green salad, bronzini special, ragu. All perfect. We've never been disappointed.

The food and service was outstanding, the value was a bit high, and they charge for everything including bred, never heard of that before, never experienced it before.

Very stuffy restaurant and server was very stuffy and made some rude comments to us. For Flagstaff where everyone seemed very hospitable this restaurant seemed over priced, very small portions and staff were the opposite of warm and friendly. It was husband and daughters birthday and they brought flaming sambucca. Not sure if they were just being cheap or didn’t care but def didn’t make my daughter feel special giving a 13 year old something she couldn’t drink or taste for b day. We ate at Shift kitchen down the street and it was lovely! Much better choices in flagstaff.

wonderful food. great atmosphere. excellent service. overall a wonderful experience.

We’ve eaten at Brix many times and this was the first time my entree choice was less than excellent. I ordered the “Porterhouse pork” and it was unusually dry and tough. It was actually hard to cut! As it was our anniversary, I decided not to send it back and make a stink. My wife’s meal was fine. Other than that, it was the usual Brix good service and experience.

Brix did not disappoint . The food was timed to our pace and enhanced the entire dining experience. The chef was gracious and came to our table with the recipe for my wife’s soup. It was evident from the chefs description of the ingredients and cooking process that he will be a Michelin star chef if he is not already. We’ll be back.

Our go-to place in Flagstaff for that special occasion. Always professional service with unique and quality food. Love supporting local businesses, especially one that has an ethic for locally-sourced products. For that special occasion, they will typically add that special touch.

Brix is a cute little neighborhood treasure! The interior design is modern industrial, which makes for a great trendy yet casual and quiet ambience. The staff is very nice, and the food is amazing! The only bad thing I could say about it is that it's hard to find, especially at night. They need to work on improving the visibility of the building and/or their sign.
