This was our first time here (with my wife). We were greeted by the two hostesses and were seated at at a u-shaped booth at the bar. It was weird so we asked to be moved. This is where the two lackluster hostesses stated there were no other open tables. Unless, we wanted to eat in the outdoor tent with heaters (Note: it was 15 degrees outside).
We were about the leave when the manager, Tony, accommodated our request to move. He remained our server for the rest of our dinner. To his credit Tony did a great job to make a underwhelming and rocky start at least tolerable.
I had the grilled pork tenderloin. It was excellent. My wife had the crab cakes (note: they contain bell red peppers and the aioli was on the crab cakes rather than presented on the side). Also, we had the peanut butter and jelly pie cake for dessert. Delicious.
Overall, our visit was average but that was only because of the manager, Tony. He was great. If it was not for him this review would be one star and disastrous for the pub.
Great spot with great service! Terrific food and ice cold beer.
We needed someplace to dine after a funeral home visitation, and that's not the most pleasant way to start an evening out. We dined here, and they did have the tables spaced out beautifully, of course the bar was elbow to elbow, so much for Covid realities. Service was good considering how short handed everyone is.
My husband had the burger, it was good, nothing to write home about, although he did really like their version of French Onion Soup. I had the crab cakes and must say - I will never make that mistake again. They were made with stringy leg meat, not the chunk crab meat that you'd get in Baltimore or down the MD/DE shore. They were mushy, filled with filler like red peppers and had very little taste. That's my story.
We were there for the ugly Christmas sweater contest. It was a fun, festive atmosphere. Food and service was great, as usual!
We had a wonderful family outing at Brittingham's for Christmas with our two-year-old grandson. The servers were terrific, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was congenial and festive. We really had a great time. Thanks, Brittingham's, and a special shoutout to our server, Chris!
Consistently good neighborhood bistro. Beautiful decor and nice menu. Sat inside and it was very pleasant.
Casual neighborhood spot with nice menu and drink options. Heated enclosed patio was great
Menu and portions have drastically changed.
Everything was excellent, our waiter was fast and on the ball. Explained all of our questions and concerns. The food was very good particularly the portobello ravioli which was delicious. The only downside was that it was very noisy. There was a happy large group nearby and at the bar. I would have prefers different room. Overall very good night.
Had dinner with 14 friends. Great service/food and drinks! Tony was an exceptional waiter!!! Thanks for a great evening!
not much you can do with a chicken caesar salad; however, the wait staff are just terrific. they're all really friendly and anxious to provide the best quality service. one of the reasons we always come back.
Staff here is wonderful!! Fun place for a date night or group of friends!!
The food, service, and atmosphere were great. We came for a fundraiser. The front of house person was a little rude to us at one point but, otherwise, we had a great experience!
First visit and will definitely return.
Very good service. Thanks
Great dining experience.
Great food! Only negative was the screaming kids at the next table.
Great food and great service!!
great menu selections - from appetizers to dessert. Had the pork tenderloin -yummy! And our server was amazing - unfortunately I've forgotten her name
Water was dripping on one of my friends during most of the meal, though he didn’t mind. We all got Bowls- The food was good, but not very filling. Services was fine - server was energetic and friendly - though seemed visibly disappointed that we didn’t order apps, drinks or dessert.
Eeeh, certainly not an Irish pub. Cold uninviting atmosphere . Not my personal kind of place. Food was very good, it's more of an upscale fancy place, not a friendly Irish pub
We had a lovely outside table near the fire. Our waitress was very pleasant but the only one for the night for all. All staff doing double duty so service was slow. We got our appetizer 10 minutes before the dinner. Appetizer was cold. Meals were hot and good and their new menu included delicious Farro bowls. Farro bowls were the best deal for your money. We’ve come here before but this time the overall prices and service vs the enjoyment may keep us away until full employment is back to normal.
The place is good. Unfortunately we had reservations and they don’t really care about reservations. We were seated one hour after our reservation time. It was only after we really complained that they found us a table for four to seat the five os us. We complained again and they finally arranged a table for five. They clearly elate understaffed as most places are. So we didn’t complain that we waited another 20 minutes for the server to come take care of us. But when she did, she was awesome. She did a fantastic job. The food is very good and the beer, was, well cold, as it should be. The experience after we started ordering things was very good. Until then it was really bad. We are considering giving the place another chance. We will likely make a reservation again and hopefully it will work out. Fingers crossed.
Our server was amazing and the food was great!
Hadn't been in years. Totally redone, very nice indoor and outdoor space. Menu was diverse, and meals we had were very good. Only complaint was seated outdoors by the road. Definitey will be back.
Forgot meal; apologized and then brought out the meal 15 minutes after everyone else. Unfortunately the salmon wasn’t cooked - at all. I decided to eat the rice with mango and cucumber salsa - the mango wasn’t ripe. The waitress didn’t notice the entire meal was untouched. Three of the 4 desserts ordered by the party were either frozen or stale.
Staff are on top of it most of the time. Food overall was good. It has become a favorite Happy Hour place because of outdoor seating.
We got apps, dinner and drinks. Everything was great! We will go there again.
Quick and efficient service. Nice friendly atmosphere. Delicious food.
Food was very disappointing, we will not be back!!
Good food. Not a particularly diverse menu, but what they have is quite tasty. We didn't drink, so this is just a food review! Not enough options for dessert, either - but the PBJ ice cream pie was delicious!
We loved being able to eat outside, the restaurant itself is beautiful and overall a great dining experience. The service was great too!
We made a rez for outdoor dining on opentable but the restaurant said that outdoor dining is first come first serve and wouldn’t honor our rez.
Cheesesteak egg rolls
Irish onion soup
grapefruit cosmo to drink
Our server Alex (not sure name) was wonderful . Very attentive . Made our night !
Great outdoor dining experience!
Very poor service food came cold after long wait and waiter never came back to check is everything ok
Had to wait 20 mins despite having a reservation. Food was tasteless and incredibly overpriced. Service was poor. Never asked if we wanted refills and wrong appetizer came out and finally the correct one came out with our dinner. They removed from the bill after we requested. Will not be going back to Brittinghams.
The outdoor set-up is great. There was some confusion as we made a reservation for outside only to get there and find out it’s first come first serve (which the hostess admitted is NOT indicated when you reserve through OpenTable), but we were able to sit at the outdoor bar immediately so it worked out. Food and service were both excellent! Will definitely be coming here again!
