Food was awesome, server Elizabeth was hysterical! She warned us about the cookie box but we ordered it anyway.
Fun time, great menu...a little pricey
The food was amazing, really looking forward to eating there again
We went to Bristol's on Sunday for lunch. I wasn't aware that they only served Brunch on Sunday's from 10-2 and was disappointed but decided to try it.
I am generally not a fan of Sunday Brunch. I believe most restaurants have mainly breakfast items and that they are overpriced.
This was not the case at Bristol's!! There were the traditional breakfast items BUT in addition , Sushi, salads, cheese, fruits, breads, Prime Rib, Ham, smoked salmon, shrimp, ahi tuna, Lobster M/C, grits, vegetables, potatoes, desserts. Everything was fresh andam very good.
I am now a fan and I will return for Sunday Brunch.
outstanding Sunday brunch,,went with long time friend, was cold outside and we both ordered hot tea and our waiter constantly made sure our tea water was warmed up. cannot remember his name but was very pleased with his service..And the food,,,wow never thought i would like sea food for breakfast, the tuna is always my favorite. The oysters were incredible. one small complaint. the little bitty biscuits are too small for biscuits and gravy, but im nit picking, i lolk forward to going back again,,,
Always love Bristol and on special occasions they offer a free dessert!
Our waiter Kevin paid us no attention after we ordered our food. The next time we saw him was to pick up our empty plates. No refills, how's the food, nothing. The other waiters at tables near us were very attentive to their tables. Kevin was nice but either forgot about us or didn't care. On the way out I advised the host staff of the issue and asked them to pass it onto management. Not the kind of service I expect for a $140 meal. I've gotten more attentive service at Applebee's. Needless we decided to forego dessert as to not give them anymore of our business. What a disappointment.
Great place for our family to celebrate a special birthday with my parents and kids!
Very slow service, apparently management has a server have 1 table on patio while 3 other servers were also handling the patio with tables scattered about the restaurant. We asked for biscuits 3 times and “I’ll tell your server” isn’t acceptable especially at this price point. Finally received biscuits after 4th request after entrees delivered.
Heard it was one of the best brunches in KC, so we went with a group of friends. Couldn’t have been more disappointed. The food was average, the omelet bar being the highlight and the carving station being the low point. The carving station meet was cold, and therefore not very appetizing. There are average discounts on drinks, but overall your money is better served at other places like McCoys or The District for brunch.
From the time it opened until now, the Bristol has never lost its beat. It is consistently delicious with well trained staff to serve.
Great food, great service, great ambiance!
Reserved my table of 5, on a Friday evening. Service was very slow compared to similar restaurants. The place was not hardly as busy as I have seen it before and we didn't get our dinner biscuits until dinner. The waitress made excuses as to why that kept happening. It was hard to get a refill on water. Shrimp appetizer was fabulos, but By the time I got my entree, the fries were cold and hard.
Enjoyed a fabulous lunch with my sister!
Great Easter Brunch as always, I was seated close to my reservation time this year, which was awesome.
We went for Easter Brunch. The hot buffet was right near the front door and it was cold out. Everything on the bar was between cold and lukewarm depending on which end it was on. I was surprised about the side dish options, very few and not great. If there was lobster in the lobster mac and cheese, we couldn't find it. The peel and eat shrimp was good and the prime rib was good, higher quality you could tell. No waffle bar, desserts were tiny and just okay. It wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be at $32 a person, but it wasn't worth that.
Easter brunch was discusting. Thank goodness for the guy making fresh omelettes. Nothing else was fresh. Food that should have been hot was cold. Very few choices. Where are the pastries? Fresh turkey? Green salad? Grilled salmon? Roasted potatoes? Brussel sprouts? Where is the healthy food? Could have had better food cheaper at Perkins. Will never come back for buffet again. My ice tea was also stale! A few days old.
Was not a fan of the brunch. We won’t do it again. We’ve done it twice now and both times we were disappointed
Great Easter Brunch!
I reserved An Easter brunch for 4 a month in advance. We had to wait 15 minutes when we arrived but it was very busy so we were ok with that. We were then seated in a booth next to a long table of kids who were loud. There families were at another king table. The wait staff was very slow. We were offered drinks as I was walking to the buffet line. I suggested he come back when we sat back down. By this time it was nearly 25 minutes into us being in the restaurant.
The food was not replenished and pretty picked over when we went though the buffet. We have had brunch there previously and this was definitely not the quality and selection we expected. Very disappointed. $35 each for basically a breakfast and not a good one.
The Bristol has become our go-to for special Holiday meals. We've done Thanksgiving, Valentine's, and Easter buffets, as well as regular Sunday Brunch buffet, and have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and impeccable, and the service is exceptional. The only negative we have is that some of the patrons don't seem to have the good sense to wear appropriate clothing.
Thought the food could have been better seasoned. Would have been nice that have some other hot breakfast foods like eggs Benedict
Amazing food, music, atmosphere.
Always great service at Bristol! Can’t beat HH.
Elizabeth was a great server. Food was delicious! Jason (the live music) was the icing on the cake. Loved the experience!
We have been to Bristol before and have had good experiences previously. Our main complaint up until now has been the lack of good side dishes. The seafood is usually great, but the only good side is the mashed potatoes. This time, however, the waitress was unattentive (we had to flag down another server to ask for things) and the seafood was overcooked (I suspect it was under the warming lamps too long). It will be awhile before we return to give it another chance.
Excellent restaurant, lovely atmosphere and great seafood.
Delicious food!! Excellent service.
Fantastic brunch. Great food and great selection
Had a room to ourselves and it made for an enjoyable evening. Thanks
Service was slow and wasn't given the attention that we expected by the wait staff.
Had a semi-private dining room that was well lit, quiet and great for conversation. Food was fabulous as always. Would do it agian!
Lauren is a great bartender! 👍🏼
Wanted to treat my wife to a GREAT meal before watching basketball at the nearby Sprint Center, and she was overwhelmed by the place! The food was beyond excellent and the location was perfect for us.
Bristol's never fails me! Always great to dine at! Their Sunday Brunch is never disappointing. I celebrated our 25th anniversary and they gave us a complimentary dessert. Service is always top notch! Would always recommend this place! I had the New England Clam Chowder and my wife had the Lobster Bisque. Afterwards, I had the striped bass with Parmesan roasted potatoes and garlic haricot vert. Wife had the pretzel crusted trout (with same sides). Excellent meal!
Seated quickly and when shared with server we had a time limit he was attentive but didn’t rush us through our meal.
The Bristol is always consistent. Good food, good service and friendly staff.
Upon arriving, our table was not ready. Reservations at 7:00 pm, table ready at 7:30 pm. Luckily, we found two seats at the bar. Service was a little slow, apps took 30 mins, it was on a concert night, so pretty expected. Other than not getting our reserved table, the staff was excellent, from the hostess to the bartenders.
Because of the concert at the nearby Sprint Center, the restaurant was packed and turning people away. Be sure to make reservations on such nights. I appreciated our server asking whether we were going to the concert and making sure that we were served with time enough to get there. He suggested ordering drinks and meals at the same time, and that worked well. Even though it was insanely busy, he checked with us several times. Thank you, Ryan. The scallops are great here, by the way.
