Bristol Seafood Grill - Creve Coeur
The food was fresh, the shrimp and scallops were a little spicy/over seasoned, and the service was great!
Ed our server and the folks at the bar were amazing . Food as always was top notch and made the evening a great experience
We will be back
Bristol's is always a delight if you like fresh fish or seafood prepared tastefully. The service was great! The biscuits were delicious as always. You can't go wrong with lunch at Bristol!
Grilled salmon, asparagus, and potatoes were so good. Our waitress, Ali, was an 11 out of 10. We had never been there before. Ali explained the menu very well. She even brought me a sample of the spicy gumbo before I placed my order so I could see how spicy it was. Great job Ali!
Great service!! Brunch was good, kind of disappointed with the Sushi Sashimi. Desserts are great.
Mary was a great waitiress
We love the Sunday Brunch at Bristol. Our favorite brunch in St. Louis. Always accommodating and today our waiter, Tony was amazing. Rebecca was also very charming. Food is absolutely fabulous, Always!!!
The bad: The New England clam chowder and lobster bisque tasted one grade better than canned soup. It was bland and lacked depth. The chef played this safe as the soups had zero originality.
The good: The swordfish and scallops were outstanding. The scallops were served seared brown and unadulterated (no sauce) that melted in your mouth and so very fresh. The swordfish was served steak-thickness and cooked to perfection and also very fresh.
The service was excellent, the waiter never hovered, but timed his returns well to keep our glasses full and needs met. He answered probing questions on the dishes and knew his wine well, especially the newly launched varieties from Oregon. One hitch was he completely disowned us as soon as I signed the check. A final request for one more glass of water was ignored as we waited and waited and waited and finally left the restaurant in need of water.
Lastly, this was our first dinner experience at Bristol's after many years of coming to the Sunday brunch. The dinner was good, but not great. There are plenty great restaurant alternatives so we'll only be returning for the brunch. They run the best Sunday brunch (buffet style) in town.
Our server was well informed and friendly. We think her section was over sat and she wasn’t provided any or enough help to provide our table with attentive service. We don’t blame her for the issue. It took our party 2:45 min for dinner. Our drinks sat empty the person walking around with their awesome biscuits walked br repeatedly without stopping. It took an hour to get salads when our food arrived you could tell it sat for a while before being delivered. I’m a huge Bristol fan and frequent both locations regularly and have never had any issues
Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the fish selections and achieved that fine balance of professionalism and friendliness!
Everything was perfect in my opinion but my guest did not think the scallops were great??
Visiting St. Louis and found this restaurant on Open Table. Food was great, drinks were great, service was great. Went with a small group staying by the airport and it was the perfect getaway.
Mary was awesome!
We enjoyed the mix seafood grill. It was simply delicious. Our service was awesome. We need to get back to bristols for brunch, its been a while. Thanks bristols for outstanding service and food.
Took my mother here for her 80th birthday. We all felt the food and service were outstanding. Several of the backs of the booths really need to be reupholstered as the fabric was very worn but it won't stop me from going back.
I brought my mom here for the first time for lunch and she loved it! I have been for brunch and it is definitely one of my faves!
Marshall our server was his usual terrific! The Oysters, Mussel’s, and Shrimp were so fresh they tasted like they just came out of the ocean! Love this place and go here often.
When I've been to Bristol's in the past, the food was always excellent. I found our brunch on Sunday somewhat mediocre. I could not even eat the sirloin, nor could my two friends. Tough, chewy, stringy. Ironically, I had told both of them to be sure to get the sirloin because it just melted in my mouth last time I had it. We were all disappointed. The biscuits are also usually very tasty, but they were just very blah on Sunday. Dry, and not yummy. I tried to find some pieces of bacon that were more well done, but all of it in the pan was too raw for me. All in all, a very disappointing experience when you spend $114 for a brunch. Not sure I will come back.
Thanks again to the staff for great service, relaxing ambiance , and a wonderful Sunday brunch. There is a good variety of food to please everyone.
Very overpriced king crab legs (3) at $50.
We were celebrating our daughter's birthday. We were seated in a great area, the food was very good and our server Lisa was outstanding. It was a very enjoyable evening.
My food was cold and sides didn’t have much flavor and the bread was cold and hard as well! The temperature inside was too cold I couldn’t enjoy my food
Great service! Our server Allie S was very knowledgeable about the food and menu. Very attentive and nice.
We were seated near the rear of the restaurant and I was looking up at the ceiling and noticed water stained ceiling tiles, and then right next to that was n air vent that was coated with dust and grime! Thoughtless inattention to thorough cleaning. The upholstery of the seating was also thorughly worn. The ambiance was not great to say the least. The server was a bit tiresome having to hear a long- winded explanation of how to read the menu and what the specials are. The food was good albeit too light on vegetables on the plate. Just not what I expected and a disappointment.
The food wasn't as good as other restaurants in the area who serve seafood. Disappointed.
We dine at Bristol's fairly regularly and our most recent visit was the first time we had a problem with the food. My wife ordered the swordfish special and the fish was under cooked. The waiter was not back for a while so I was nearly done with my dinner (excellent charred ahi tuna) by the time her fish was returned properly cooked (and excellent). The swordfish was served with a lemongrass couscous which had a huge amount of garlic mixed in. My wife collected the garlic on the side of her plate and the manager agreed it was too much and comped her meal even though we told him that was not necessary. All in all, another nice meal at Bristol's and we will return soon.
We were given a quiet booth where we had friendl service with delicious food as always. The crab cakes were fantastic.
Great brunch, fantastic wine selection!
We got their early for our reservation, but still had to wait for a table. I think they tend to over book at times.
The wait staff was either short-handed, or just busy trying to keep up.
The food was okay for the price, the experience was less than usual just due to the crowd.
Wonderful food and service. In a lovely ambiance. Will be going back this weekend.
Our dinner at Bristol was excellent. The food and the service were outstanding.
Excellent service and food was very good. Fresh and delicious.
Fabulous filet mignon and scallops! Coffee after was also the very best!
Love this place Go there in a heartbeat!
We were seated immediately. The food was delicious and the service excellent! The lobster was fresh and well-seasoned. The lava cake dessert was definitely worth the 15 minute wait! Every spoonful was heaven.
My Tanqueray martini on the rocks was exquisite. No goofiness about shaking it first or serving it in a martini glass with ice floating in it. It was a serious drink. My wife had the salmon and i had the sea bass. Both were great. The bar/happy hour area was quite noisy but the dining room subdued. We will be back soon.
It was my daughter 16th birthday. And we had an amazing time
Birthday in which the birthday person got a free dessert.
The food was excellent.
I have a feeling that the server was a little bit overwhelmed so I won’t blame. The sever was very helpful and a great attitude.
We let the server know that we were celebrating an anniversary. We were presented with an outstanding slice of carrot cake that was delicious and so large we couldn’t finish. Sunday evenings bottles of wine are half price so we had an exceptional evening with terrific table service.
