Superior experience. We go primarily because the seafood is excellent. The rare encrusted tuna is fantastic as is the halibut. The shrimp cocktails are cold and tasty.
The service has been turned into an art form. The servers are attentive without being bothersome.
Took my wife here for her birthday. We had the calamari as an appetizer. It was breaded and cooked to perfection. It was the best that either of us can remember. I would caution you to watch out for the jalapeno peppers if they are in there. She ordered the Seared Scallops which came with Asparagus Risoto and carrots. All were cooked perfectly. I ordered the Fish and Chips. It was supposed to come with fries and apple celery root slaw. It came with only the fries. I am not that sorry for the omission. The fish (Cod) was battered in a battery that contained theSchlafly Kolsch beeri It was cooked exactly as I would have expected it to have been. It was not overly greasy, as some of the fish and chips I have had at other establishments. Overall a good evening. We had a $25 off coupon, so the total bill was $106.00 Not bad for a special occasion.
Great ambiance and service, everyone was so friendly. The complimentary biscuits with butter are good. Loved the lobster bisque, roasted cauliflower, and chocolate lava cake. The shrimp enchiladas were just OK, and I would probably order something else next time. I tried my friend's halibut, which was a Special of the Day I believe, and it was really, really good. I coveted her meal.
Great spot for lunch!! Able to have a confidential business conversation. The Crab Cakes were excellent!!!
Service and food was exceptional but a bit pricey!
Service was very slow and deliberate. Our waitress though was very friendly and came to check on us often but it took a very long time for the food to come. To compensate for that or waitress offered free appetizers and free dessert which we excepted gladly.
Carrot cake is phenomenal!
We had a fantastic waitress. Since it was a brunch, with serving tables in various locations, she helped my husband with his plates and back to our area. The variety of dishes was notable. We were not rushed and everything was delicious. When ready to leave we were assisted to the handicap exit to make our walk to the car shorter.
The Sunday brunch at Bristol in superb. I was catching up with a couple of friends and we had a great time. Everyone was very friendly.
I am usually very satisfied at Bristol’s, but in this visit the reason my wife and I can there was specifically for the crab cakes and fried shrimp. Unfortunately there was a menu change and neither item was available. I was looking forward to this cheat meal and was a little dissatisfied when we were told they did not have the items.
Kitchen was having issues. The waitress came back 3 times to have some of us change our orders because they couldn’t make them
Good food. Good service. Best gumbo in town, without doubt. What more could you ask?
Waitress Rebecca pulled out all the stops for my birthday celebration! I had some friends in from out of town to help celebrate and Rebecca really walked them through the menu. She explained flavors and tastes of the different menu items. We brought in a cake from a local bakery and she put candles on it and served us all a piece of it. We usually get seated in Rebecca’s section and she was the best on this night. I will definitely be back for our next occasion or just to eat out. I highly recommend to come here for a night out or for your next celebration.
Great service and great food and wine! Pleasant anniversary dinner. Prices are getting a little steep.
It was overpriced for the quality of food.
Service was excellent
Requested a private dining area. All private dining areas were available upon arrival and one was not used all night. We were denied the ability to be seated until ALL had arrived if we chose private dining. This was rude and uncalled for. We had to choose to have open seating since one attendee was going to be late
Bristol is the best seafood restaurant in St. Louis.
Always excellent for every occasion! Delicious food and seafood, old favorites and new flavors. Great atmosphere and location
Exceptional halibut special. Very fresh and tasty. Bristols never disappoints.
We renewed our religious vows and wanted to dine in a special place. It was perfect. We had fun picking out our meal and had great assistance from our waitress. Food was fabulous. Even though there were a number of patrons it was not noisy. Have to go soon again.
Very good food quality , I have enjoyed the dinner very much
Service was excellent and food was wonderful
Had the special and it was the Best meal I’ve had in a very long time.
Our table was ready as reserved. Seating was a might snug but comfortable. Service was attentive, informative and professional, though less fawning references to the party members would have been preferable. The food was indulgent in quality, with some clever and unique offerings and delightful flavors: all palates were pleased. Serving sizes were adequate but not luxurious. The by-the-glass red wine offerings were a disappointment, however, and familiar labels by the bottle might have been a better choice. Prices were high but not outrageous for this quality of food.
our server was fantastic, great food, nice quiet setting.
As always, Bristol exceeds my expectations with great service, great food, great atmosphere!
Another fantastic meal and great evening with Rebecca as our server...she is the best!
When reserving, you need to specify if you want a quiet table.
Wonderful food with great service. Our waiter was very attentive and professional.
Celebrated our Anniversary with a delightful meal. Really enjoyed the Alaskan halibut; done to perfection.
Our server was attentive without being intrusive. She was very personable.
The seafood is always wonderful, but we went there because the last time we went with my vegeterian daughters, they had a great veggie menu. It is now salads and a grilled veggie plate, but no other offerings. A pasta dish from the regular menu was modified, but a plate full of veggies just doesn't make a complete dinner.
Exceptional service during an extraordinary busy time says you have a great management staff. Jamie, our hostess, filled her role with grace and ease.
Great Easter Brunch!!
One of my favorite places for delicious meals and top notch customer service! Warm cozy atmosphere.
Our visit to Bristol's went pretty much as expected: chaotic check-in, a short wait for our table, terrific servers, great food on the buffet and perfectly sized deserts to end the meal. I prefer the Easter food selections to, say, Thanksgiving, for the brunch. The cioppino was tasty but a shortage of small bowls limited access. The tri-tip steak on the carving table was a nice addition and the salmon dishes, smoked and broiled, were very good. Our servers were quick to refill the drinks, asked if we had questions, needed anything and if we liked everything. We did. The entrance gets busy, especially during brunches but the folks at Bristol's are unfailing nice and the food is always great. I know we'll go back in a month or soand wonder why we didn't get back sooner. I just wish they had a little more space for waiting, especially during brunches.
Simply a great location with really good food and great service! All for a great price!
Food was good, but buffet continually ran out. I was asked for id when ordering a mimosa with Easter brunch and did not have it on me as I have never been carded in all the years I have patronized this restaurant. Annoyed enough by this that I told my friend on the State Liquor Board and hope for Bristol's sake that they aren't implementing this policy selectively, because he will be doing spot checks from now on at my request. Overall, the worst experience I have ever had here.
We attended Easter brunch and will definitely be back. The tri-tip was excellent, as was the lobster mac and cheese.
We went for Easter Sunday Brunch and I have to say everything was OUTSTANDING! They had all the traditional breakfast fare including a made to order omelets so I will comment on the other items. The cold station had rare ahi tuna; oysters on the half shell; (small) shrimp; and grilled mussels. They were all fantastic! The carving station had roast beef and ham and they were very good. The side items were just what you would expect (i.e. mashed potatoes, veggies, etc.) and they were all just fine. The waitress was very attentive bringing drinks, removing plates, etc. Overall, I give them an A+.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday brunch...there were selections for all six of our picky palates...wow...great value...we'll be back!
