Permanently closed. Pffffttttt........ Not happy that we were able to make reservations at a closed restaurant....
We had a reservation for Saturday March 21st to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. I called them a couple of days beforehand to ensure they were going to be open. Was told that they were closing, and the closing would be permanent. Still have a $100 gift certificate which I doubt can be refunded.
I gave the review from the last time I was there. My event got canceled because they closed down the location with out given proper notice. I am waiting to hear back from someone about a refund!
The servers were very diligent about cleaning each table several times during this age of Covid-19. They were also very cool, showed no stress and were very professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner there 🤗
We had delicious food and wonderful service!
Birthday celebration. Waiter provided complimentary dessert for birthday girl. Very nice experience.
Great food, super slow service.
When we finally received our food, it was wonderful. However, due to some sort of a glitch, our order was not put in. We were with our 97 year old mother, who was getting hungry :). When we asked we were informed that they had just discovered the error and were rushing to get our food done. We did get a bowl of soup for her (gratis) and it was obvious they felt bad about the error. The manager brought some of the food herself and profusely apologized. Did not ruin our evening - mistakes happen!
we got a reservation for 7 and were seated in a private room.. perfect size, great service, food as excellent.. highly recommend!!
Brio is always a comfortable spot to gather with friends to catch up on life. Our waiter was wonderful, patient and helpful. It’s always a treat to dine there.
The service was spectacular our server Seth did a great job.
Brio is a place that I can usually count on for a nice meal in a pleasant atmosphere. Sadly, my visit on Saturday was a disappointment. It was a busy Saturday evening, and service was much slower than usual. Our server seemed distracted, and the pace of the meal got delayed. It took a long time for our drinks to be delivered. We had to ask four times in order to receive a basket of bread. On two occasions, the wrong items were delivered to our table. I ordered the lamb chops medium rare, but they came out well done. Because the server was slow checking on us after the food was delivered, I decided to eat the overcooked lamb chops instead of waiting for the mistake to be corrected. Overall, a disappointing evening.
Saturday brunch with a friend. Overall experience was disappointing. The brunch menu was very limited, and no add-on options. Our coffee was not so fresh or hot. Such a pity as I really love Brio and have had many good experiences, both for lunch/brunch and dinner.
Marvelous service from the time we hit the door from hostess, to waitress, and food preparation. Best of all, moderate noise level and nobody's children screaming and performing as if we came to witness all the drama...
Group of eight friends...we were well taken care of and enjoyed our meals. Thank you. We dine there almost each month...
The food was good, the service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and divided a meal which 2 of us were splitting.
Just a lil pricy on mixed drinks
Had a great dinner for Valentine's Day.
I booked a table for twelve people 6 weeks in advance of our event. We were CRAMMED into a back room with other tables up against us. The back of another person's chair was FLUSH against the end of our table. It was so loud and people were going in and out of the kitchen right beside us. Most of our meals were lukewarm at best. Then, our friend who ordered a pasta dish received the smallest bowl of pasta, we thought it was a side order. We called the server over and she said, "no that's the size of it but it just looks really small because she changed from thick spaghetti to angel hair." It was ridiculous - a vegetarian bowl of pasta for $14 like that? It looked like a cup of pasta tinted with some sauce and a handful of cherry tomatoes. We never got a refill of bread or crackers (Were given two bowls of each for 12 people.) It was hard to get drink refills. The restaurant was too full and everyone was just trying to keep up. It took us an hour to get our food. Our bill was $379 before the tip for the 12 of us...we could have had a much better meal, with much better service, in a much nicer environment for that price.
Good service good food !
Our Valentine's date was splendid! Brio is the prefect place for a long overdue uninterrupted adult only conversation. (We have 4 children at home!) We very much enjoyed the Meatball appetizer! I wasn't a fan of the Marsala sauce on my entree. However the chicken was juicy and delicious! I joined the email club while we were waiting to be sat. I got $5 off our meal! Bonus!! We will be returning.
Our experience was terrible. Both of our meals were not well cooked. My wife plate went back to the kitchen three different times. What was supposed to be a nice dinner date turned into an over 2 hour ordeal. we waited for our meals for too long for them to get it right.
My husband and I wouldn’t dream of celebrating a special occasion in any restaurant other than Brio’s. We’ve been eating there ever since it opened in Richmond! We love EVERYTHING about it!
Too bright, think Labor n Delivery lighting.
Server was pleasant but extremely inattentive.
Food was avg at best and crazy over-priced.
Spaghetti and zucchini plate for $13. Less food than one could get from Noodles n Compnay for half-price.
I know why it has been 10 yrs since last visit.
Here’s to 10 more.
I realize it was a busy night and the waiters were efficient, but we waited 45 minutes for our food. Fortunately we had ordered a salad which came quickly but it was a long wait for our entrees which were prepared well and were tasty. Our waiter brought a gluten free menu for me. I wish they still served the pork chop because that is one entree that would be gluten free since most of the sauces on the other meat dishes all contain some form of gluten. I always enjoyed the pork chop in past years. The Chicken Limone which is also a favorite has an egg wash with flour so that is no longer an option for me
I've always liked Brio - but the portions have gotten smaller and smaller.
Seth was the best waiter ever! He was very attentive and took great care of us. My father, sister and her fiancé all had their birthday on the same day. With Seth as our waiter, no need went unmet.
Great service!! Waitress was very attentive and very pleasant. Food was delicious! Very pleasant and satisfying lunch!
Our first time at Brio was a great experience. They had sour dough and crackers with butter as an appetizer. She also knew it was our first time there, and she got us a free ice cream! The service was great, food was delicious, and atmosphere was top notch. We will be back!
Our waiter was outstanding, unfortunately hostess Meghan did not acknowledge us when we were standing at hostess station. Took a reservation then had a conversation with a server. Could not believe her actions.
Restaurant was not busy at the time, I was standing directly in front of her-unbelievable
The spaghetti bolognese looks and tastes like elementary school cafeteria spaghetti, meat on noodles in orange grease. Small portions and the salmon was extremely salty.
Server was very nice Gold Star 🌟
I have dined at Brio several times and have been very happy. I took my husband there because it was his birthday and I wanted it to be special. I was somewhat disappointed this time. I made a reservation for 6:30 and arrived on time. It did not seem that busy, but we still had to wait fifteen minutes. Our server was cordial and polite. When I asked about the special, she said it was not available. I then said I would like the lamb chops. She again said, they were not available. I thought it was rather early in the evening to be out of these items? It probably doesn't seem like a big deal, but I was disappointed. The dinners we selected were good but not outstanding. It was not the usual great experience I have had at Brio.
Birthday party for friends. Food was great. Waitress was wonderful as was the asst server. Chairs were awful and table too small for 6
Nice everyday Italian. Food always good and service excellent
Our first time visiting and we will be back. Great value at lunch with great service.
Food is only average....no burger....changed menu is not good.
The entire experience was excellent.
Wonderful service and great food as always!
