   We have been going to Brio for over 10 years. They are known for their excellent bread. What we had last night was not up to par. When I asked the waiter about it, he said we were on the backup bread, whatever that means. We also ordered the Carpaccio which we do often. The meat was not the same quality or color. The salad used to be a arugula, this was lettuce head chopped, mixed and thrown on top. Definitely not a high quality meal.

   The filet medallions were very tasty in combination with the asparagus and mashed potatoes. I will have it again. Our waitress did an excellent job of keeping things flowing on a timely basis. I liked that the ambient noise was lower than the last time we dined here.

   This place seems like it is going downhill… the restaurant needs a good cleaning a touchup. Half peeled stickers on the wood bathroom doors, dirty air vents in the dining room, smell of bar rot while entering. Menu has stayed the same but portions seem smaller. Service was incredible slow. Expo was constantly full but food was not being taken out and good luck getting a refill

   We were promptly greeted and seated but it was quite cold inside so thankfully we both had jackets with us. Our server Natalee came over and spoke so softly that we could barely hear her. She got our drinks and took our food order and asked if we would like bread. We said yes but the bread didn’t come nor did we see her again for quite some time. When she did come back we mentioned the bread and she stated that she would get us another serving. Another? I got the Pasta Alla Vodka which was very good. My wife got the lasagna but it was not good. Nothing like any lasagna we have ever had, there or anyplace else. Very dry and very sweet. We opted to go elsewhere for desert.

   It was very nice. We did go on Valentine’s weekend so we knew it would be busy. But the waiter was pleasant and very attentive. I had the Portobello ravioli and it was delicious. I would recommend this place.

    Food was good, service was very good, but we had a wait of about 15 minutes for our 1st round of drinks. That’s a big NO-NO. Meanwhile, we drink water with our bread.
