Brighton Bar and Grill
The booth we sat at was uncomfortable. Not enough room for our group of five and two of us were crunched in the corners. I loved everything else, the food, service, ambiance, menu. if I go there again I will request a table for sure.
We had a lovely evening and Shannon took very good care of us. Thank you
Another fine dinner at BB&G. Great food and exceptional service (Coleen). It's our favorite restaurant.
Great food. Our waitress, Kelly, was wonderful.
Made reservations for our 37th anniversary. I ordered a ribeye steak dinner that was just awful. I have never seen that cut of that steak at 1/2 inch thickness and it was extremely chewy. This was my favorite restaurant in the area for decades. 2nd bad experience there and I probably won't be back.
We had a party of 7 and really enjoyed our dinner. Wait staff was good and the food was very good. You'd be wise to get reservations in advance - it was very popular and folks without reservations ended up waiting awhile. (We were fortunate enough not to make that mistake).
Have been a regular here for some time now, always top notch. Brought a friend for a first time dinner. We will be back. 5 Stars
We had to wait longer than our reservation time. Once we were seated, we had a great server and the food was outstanding!!
The food and service is always outstanding. I do have my favorite dishes as does my husband but every one we've gone with has always raved about their meals. Love the new décor but it was a bit noisy and that was surprising. We were in a booth and it was difficult to hear each other but that wouldn't stop Brighton Bar and Grill from being our favorite place to eat in Brighton.
Food was excellent! Noise level
The service and food was delicious. The seabass portion was quite small for the price. However it was delicious!
We went out for a casual dinner and the food was awesome. I thought our service was top notch. Every time we’ve been there we talk about the next time we will go. Keep doing what you do.
I made a reservation and was seated as soon as we arrived. Table was in the main dinning room and the service and food were all great1
I had only been to this restaurant for lunch previously, but needed a nice spot to meet my relatives for my nephew's birthday dinner. I reserved a table and everything went really smoothly. We all enjoyed our food, and I must say that the scallops were outstanding. Our birthday boy got a free dessert, while the rest of us ordered some items to share. The service was efficient and friendly. The room in the back was fairly quiet and relaxing. We all had a great time!
Brighton Bar and Grill is our favorite place to dine in the area plus our friends come all the way from Plymouth to join us whenever then can make it.
Excellent business lunch- food and service were outstanding!
My husband and I went for our anniversary and the dinner was great! Our waitress was very friendly and took amazing care of us. It was a perfect evening 😊
This place never disappoints, fresh prepared food that is just done so right. Great service, prices are very fair and always high quality food with great portion sizes. We all had something to take home. Every time we have a reservation our table is ready at the time planned and even though they are very busy we are seated promptly. Already looking forward to another visit to this downtown Brighton gem.
Always outstanding service. My family and I absolutely love this establishment.
I had a wonderful birthday dinner with my family!
Dined outside on the patio for my Dads Birthday. It was a pleasant evening, the food was excellent, service was great as well. Bonus, it happened to be during the Blues & Jazz Fest downtown so lots of activity and music to enjoy after our meal.
Great food and service! Only complaint is noise level but would definitely go back!
BBG has a seating problem. They overbook their reservations and then scramble as the clock ticks into the popular dining times. This evening, they seated a walk in in front of us before even checking us in for our reservation.
Three people were standing at the hostess stand, no one bothered to greet us. Finally, when I asked if we could sit outside (two tables were clearing out at that moment) they said no. They could seat us inside in the dark back part of the restaurant. Meanwhile, the walk in in front of us got a prime table.
Seating issues are their downfall; they simply overcommit and don’t pay attention to the bigger picture. We had a reservation yet we were offered the crappy table. The walk in got prime seating!
The food is great- that’s why we come back. But their sister restaurant, Bourbons, is more concerned about their customers than BBG. BBG needs better overall management instead of kids running the hostess stand with the one adult not paying attention to the overall situation.
Food is very good every time...staff is very pleasant
Delicious dinner !
This was a second visit with my mother. We decided to eat indoors this time, due to the warmer temperatures outside. I again got the blackened salmon salad (complete with crispy Brussels sprouts leaves). This is my favorite item on the menu.
We can always count on Brighton Bar & Grill for a good meal and overall nice experience.
I've never had a bad meal here, and they've added some wonderful new dishes to their menu. Outside dining is also quiet and intimate, even though they're located on Main Street.
BB&G is my favorite restaurant in Brighton! I've tried others and always come back to BB&G. This year for my birthday I invited the family (party of 8) to join me there for dinner. We had a terrific server with a great sense of humor! Our food was wonderful as always - as was that of everyone else at the table.
My only request would be to have had white tablecloths on our tables - two tables were pushed together in the back booth to make room for 8 - I just feel for my special day that the white tablecloths would have made our experience more memorable and it's a much nicer backdrop for photos than wooden-topped tables. I understand that all the side booths are set up like this and next time I'll request a tablecloth.
Thanks so much for a wonderful dinner! We WILL be back :)
Love this place. They are always consistent with food and service. It’s one of my favorite places to dine
The food was delicious!! The waitstaff was excellent. Try the carrot cake! The pieces are huge and even sharing with my husband, we still had a large piece to take home.
Natalie, our server was the best server we've had at Brighton Bar it was a bit overcooked - I should have said something. Otherwise, it was a beautiful night to sit outside and enjoy a nice dinner and bottle of wine.
This was our first time here, and it will certainly not be our last, everything from our appetizer to our meal to our drinks were great! The bartender sure knows how to make a GREAT bourbon old fashioned. And the free brownie dessert for my birthday just made my day!!
Everything was great food service etc. Everyone had something different and all were satisfied with their meal.
I'm a repeat customer, and I'm usually very pleased with the restaurant. On Friday at lunchtime, however, it took almost an hour to get our food. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, so the delay was somewhat baffling. Our server wasn't at all apologetic about the delay. They could have done better.
Great place for a Business discussion. Gets a bit noisy at times so sit close to hear what your guest is saying.
Food is always amazing, never have had a bad meal. New twist was to ask for their homemade angel hair pasta with the chicken piccata (in lieu of their amazing mashed potatoes). This was fantastic and should be on the menu!!! This is my favorite restaurant in Brighton, hands down.
Food, 8oz filet, was cooked perfectly. Tammy, our server, did a great job in the bar area to take care of the five of us. Water and drinks filled. Would go back again.
