Brighton Bar and Grill
This place never disappoints, fresh prepared food that is just done so right. Great service, prices are very fair and always high quality food with great portion sizes. We all had something to take home. Every time we have a reservation our table is ready at the time planned and even though they are very busy we are seated promptly. Already looking forward to another visit to this downtown Brighton gem.
Always outstanding service. My family and I absolutely love this establishment.
I had a wonderful birthday dinner with my family!
Dined outside on the patio for my Dads Birthday. It was a pleasant evening, the food was excellent, service was great as well. Bonus, it happened to be during the Blues & Jazz Fest downtown so lots of activity and music to enjoy after our meal.
Great food and service! Only complaint is noise level but would definitely go back!
BBG has a seating problem. They overbook their reservations and then scramble as the clock ticks into the popular dining times. This evening, they seated a walk in in front of us before even checking us in for our reservation.
Three people were standing at the hostess stand, no one bothered to greet us. Finally, when I asked if we could sit outside (two tables were clearing out at that moment) they said no. They could seat us inside in the dark back part of the restaurant. Meanwhile, the walk in in front of us got a prime table.
Seating issues are their downfall; they simply overcommit and don’t pay attention to the bigger picture. We had a reservation yet we were offered the crappy table. The walk in got prime seating!
The food is great- that’s why we come back. But their sister restaurant, Bourbons, is more concerned about their customers than BBG. BBG needs better overall management instead of kids running the hostess stand with the one adult not paying attention to the overall situation.
Food is very good every time...staff is very pleasant
Delicious dinner !
This was a second visit with my mother. We decided to eat indoors this time, due to the warmer temperatures outside. I again got the blackened salmon salad (complete with crispy Brussels sprouts leaves). This is my favorite item on the menu.
We can always count on Brighton Bar & Grill for a good meal and overall nice experience.
I've never had a bad meal here, and they've added some wonderful new dishes to their menu. Outside dining is also quiet and intimate, even though they're located on Main Street.
BB&G is my favorite restaurant in Brighton! I've tried others and always come back to BB&G. This year for my birthday I invited the family (party of 8) to join me there for dinner. We had a terrific server with a great sense of humor! Our food was wonderful as always - as was that of everyone else at the table.
My only request would be to have had white tablecloths on our tables - two tables were pushed together in the back booth to make room for 8 - I just feel for my special day that the white tablecloths would have made our experience more memorable and it's a much nicer backdrop for photos than wooden-topped tables. I understand that all the side booths are set up like this and next time I'll request a tablecloth.
Thanks so much for a wonderful dinner! We WILL be back :)
Love this place. They are always consistent with food and service. It’s one of my favorite places to dine
The food was delicious!! The waitstaff was excellent. Try the carrot cake! The pieces are huge and even sharing with my husband, we still had a large piece to take home.
Natalie, our server was the best server we've had at Brighton Bar it was a bit overcooked - I should have said something. Otherwise, it was a beautiful night to sit outside and enjoy a nice dinner and bottle of wine.
This was our first time here, and it will certainly not be our last, everything from our appetizer to our meal to our drinks were great! The bartender sure knows how to make a GREAT bourbon old fashioned. And the free brownie dessert for my birthday just made my day!!
Everything was great food service etc. Everyone had something different and all were satisfied with their meal.
I'm a repeat customer, and I'm usually very pleased with the restaurant. On Friday at lunchtime, however, it took almost an hour to get our food. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, so the delay was somewhat baffling. Our server wasn't at all apologetic about the delay. They could have done better.
Great place for a Business discussion. Gets a bit noisy at times so sit close to hear what your guest is saying.
Food is always amazing, never have had a bad meal. New twist was to ask for their homemade angel hair pasta with the chicken piccata (in lieu of their amazing mashed potatoes). This was fantastic and should be on the menu!!! This is my favorite restaurant in Brighton, hands down.
Food, 8oz filet, was cooked perfectly. Tammy, our server, did a great job in the bar area to take care of the five of us. Water and drinks filled. Would go back again.
We visited Brighton Bar and Grill for our Anniversary and sat outside on the side of the building. Delicious food. My husband had filet and I had Scallops. We finished with Dutch Apple Pie. We’ll be back.
I did a business lunch recently at Brighton Bar and Grill. We ate outside and had lunch special and soup. Great service and food. Nice choice. I will be back.
Expensive but quite good. Friendly, competent service. Comfortable seating. Not quiet but we could hold a conversation without yelling. Parking was an issue.
Still one of my favorite places. Service was great despite the crowds, food was excellent. Our table was ready right on time, we did not have to wait at all.
I would definitely recommend Brighton Bar and Grill. The food was delicious, the noise level was reasonable for 8pm on a Saturday night, and the service was great.
First time in. For the price, it was awesome. Service was good and the food was terrific! Got the calamari, a bottle of Pinot noir, the steak Benedict, and the grilled chicken Mac and cheese. All of it was fast and delicious. All for $90. Great spend. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu that sounded great!
It was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised. Our server was attentive, the food was good and served quickly. They didn't rush us, either. We'd go back.
Food was outstanding! Had the special which was a grilled grouper with diced hearts of palm and asparagus in a light beurre blanc sauce. Best prepared fish we have eaten in Michigan.
Our waitress was delightful. Unfortunately we were seated in bar area (Friday night) so very noisy. Our waitress smiled as if we were the only patrons and the noise did not remain an issue. Outstanding evening!
Our entrees arrived less than 2 minutes after our salads. We felt rushed like they wanted to just get us in and out instead of allowing us to enjoy the dining experience as BB&G is our favorite in the area.
The "Drunkin Salmon" is outstanding. One of our favorite meals in the area.
We originally made a reservation for a party of 4, but our party grew to 8 and they were still able to accommodate us on a very busy Saturday night. They were very flexible in seating us and our server was excellent. She even offered to split the bill 4 ways, which was really helpful. The food was excellent. I had one of the “big salads” - one with poached pears, and I added blackened salmon to it. The fish was done to perfection, the salad was fresh (and big!) and the dark cherry balsamic dressing was delicious. My husband really liked his salmon salad too, and my friends all liked their meals. It was a great choice for dinner and we’ll be back!
Haven’t been to BBG in a few years. It was a great experience and we’ll be back soon!
Great service, good choice of menu items and the food was excellent.
Adele was great
Usually the best steak in Livingston county. This last time the New York steak was dry and an overcooked medium rare
Having a meal at BB&G is always a great dining event!
I joined Weight Watchers that morning, so I was trying to be good. Thought I would get a boring salad to stay in low points. I ordered the Mixed Greens with Brussel Sprouts Salad. It had mixed greens, arugula, red onion, pumpkin seeds, dried Michigan cherries & edamame in a maple vinaigrette topped with brussel sprout chips served with blackened salmon. I got the dressing on the side. It was AMAZING. My husband had the bulgogi tacos that he said were wonderful. I want to go back today to enjoy that salad again.
