This was my first visit to this location for the Brigantine. We went to have Sunday brunch before a show we were going to at 1pm. We would have stayed a lot longer; the Ambiance, the service, the food , ALL was exceptional. Can't wait to go back!

The clam chowder never disappoints. Oysters on the half shell very fresh and succulent. Tried the seafood gumbo for the first time. Just enough spice to get your tongue tingling. Panko crusted mahi mani is always a favorite.

Simply the best fish tacos in San Diego (maybe the best anywhere). You eat these fish tacos just once, and you will never even slow down when you drive past a Rubio's.

We are Brigantine fans, have enjoyed Point Loma, La Mesa, Coronado. Poway was a little bit of a disappointment. Food quality was not on par with the other locations. Portions where smaller and the menu has defiantly changed. Service was good, waiter was tentive.

enjoy the ambiance at this spot, plus the menu has a great variety. service is always excellent here. they also were kind enough to accommodate our changing reservation time because of horrific traffic delays. thank you!

Great place for a very impressive business dinner. Wine Wednesday's are a great day to go for 1/2 price bottles of wine, even the best wines.

We were seated immediately and at a corner booth. Waitress was experienced and efficient. My sand dabs were excellent and this is one of the few restaurants that serve this dish. It was our anniversary and the waitress brought a generous flan to share. The early bird dinner was quite a bargain and worth returning for.

Probably the best that Poway CA has to offer in terms of dining. Excellent service provided by Jackie --- ask for her section if you can --- and the fish is to die for! (After all, this is a seafood restaurant.) I had the day's special (pan-fried halibut) that was sensational. My date had the marinated skirt steak which was very flavorful but a needed a bit more marinating (just a bit "chewy"). Try this fine restaurant when you are in the Poway area and you won't be disappointed.

Really enjoyed the 1st catch today. M-Th, dining before 6pm, you can get an appetizer, entree and dessert for the price of a regular entree. I enjoyed the Seafood Fondue as an app, Blackended Salmon with an amazing Lemon Sauce and a Creme Brûlée. Have always received great service at this location.

Good food, healthy choices. We ordered the special of the day (Halibut) and a shrimp and crab Louis salad. We shared, and the restaurant split the dishes for us. Delicious and the perfect amount of food for lunch.

We always make it out to the Brigantine to celebrate our birthdays. If you sign up for their email list, you get a great birthday discount and they don't flood your inbox throughout the year. In addition to the birthday discount, they give you one of their (gigantic) desserts for free. We've not had a bad meal at the Brigantine and have even taken (picky) out-of-town guests there who were happy with their meals. The Brigantine will definitely continue to be part of our annual birthday celebration! Personal favorite menu items: wok-charred ahi, shrimp & crab louie, crab & lobster cobb, and the clam chowder.

I ordered the lobster crab salad. The lettuce tasted like it had been frozen and
defrosted. The crab was like rubber. The lobster tasted frozen/defrosted. It
was probably the worst I have ever had. Now I did not complain, did not
send it back so I didn't give the restaurant a chance to make it better.
That was my fault. Now my friends dinner, scallops was excellent.

Our server Jennifer was great. She was very professional, courteous, and attentive. She checked in on use regularly through the meal and dining experience which was very much appreciated. It can be hit or miss these days with restaurant service but she nailed it.

The shrimp and grits and the gumbo were delicious. grits can be easy to mess up but it was perfect and just right. The coffee ice cream was just right as well. Just the right amount of coffee flavor and not overly sweet.

Thanks for the wonderful evening.

Wonderful food and wine, and supurb service. I was in visiting in town and took my elderly aunt out for a nice meal. She was absolutely delighted to get a nice evening out, but she can be a difficult customer. the staff took care of her with patience, grace and smiles. they were amazing.

Pricey for the quality of food and drinks $120 for 3 without tip for 3 drinks and lunch. No appetizer, no dessert, no extras. Margarita was very weak. Ordered scallops. There were TWO ON THE PLATE. Really? Server was lovely and tipped him well but overall experience was disappointing. And it was a birthday celebration. Won't be back.

When we first got there even though we had reservations they sat us in the middle of the room when there were much more desirable tables open . We asked to move and they did move us. Brunch has very limited choices. I ordered a new item that the waitress recommended, it was aweful! I asked for something else and that wasn't good either . I ended up not eating much and out bill was very expensive. Won't go there for brunch ever again!

We frequently attend the Brig because we enjoy the food and relaxed environment. We recently visited other locations as well and we find the quality of food is consistently good. My favorite is the classic Brig fish tacos. All our friends agree that the Brig serves probably the best fish tacos in town.

We had the Brigentine Salad and the Dover Sole which was outstanding!! Fish cooked perfectly and the side dishes were very good.

The service was not as good as it usually is....some of the staff had to leave because of the lack of customers. So the service was disrupted somewhat. Tho not the fault of the staff. Once some of the staff left it got busy, so was hectic for a time. No huge deal, just not well done.
