I had the Short Rib special it was delicious and filling. My server Bianca was bartending also, but was still very attentive. But this will be my last review, since the fire. I will be the first one back when it's rebuild. It has been and always will be my first home away from home, ever since Bernadette told me to stop eating by my self in the dining room and go sit at the bar. That was 13 years ago and I never had a bad time there.
As usual fine dining. Excellent black bean soup, a creamy Mac and cheese. But there is now a deep dish apple pie on the dessert list. Fabulous, great taste and full of apples. I could eat the pie as an entree A great meal in a fine neighborhood restaurant.
Bridget Foy’s is always good, pleasant staff great food, family friendly. Just a good place to be.
Again, my husband and I had a great dinner at Bridget Foys. The service is always good and friendly. It was the first night for the fall menu, which was really good. The brussel sprouts were so tasty - I recommend them highly. Overall, this is a wonderful place for a good dinner. The bar is good and it provides great people watching if you get a table by the windows.
Great restaurant.
Very good food. I had buck a shuck oysters that were good but small. Fish tacos were delicious.
Celebrated Restaurant Week. Great experience with a great menu b
Great evening. Energetic atmosphere, great food and very pleasant and attentive wait staff.
We went here because they participated in Restaurant Week. Service was great, had filet which was cooked perfect and with it came potato that were cooked different than mashed or baked and were really good. Apple turnover and chocolate desserts were fantastic!
The hostess/ waiter was very cool and energetic. The first thing we ordered was a pitcher of the white sangria. Kinda hard to say how good it was because the pitcher was 70% ice 30% sangria. We came for restaurant week, first course meat loaf slides which was okay, and it was exactly what the menu stated it would be ONE SLICE OF MEAT LOAF CUT INTO 3 PIECES. The roll used was soft but the cup of onions on top of the slider was a little excessive. The clam chowder looked very weird, not what I would consider a chowder to be it was extremely brothy but did have a lot of clams. The next course was a "rib eye" sub and the shrimp diablo. The sub was very dry and the cheese wasn't even melted. The fries were soft and cold. The shrimp diablo was okay. The pasta was a thin spaghetti with a regular marinara sauce, a table spoon of lump crab meat and three over cooked flavorless shrimp. Last but not least dessert we had a mud pie and apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. The only thing good about the pie was the crust, the middle was extremely hard and the whip cream had no flavor at all. The apples in the crisp was almost similar to apple sauce and the crumb was very sandy and unpleasant to eat.
My friends and I went here for Restaurant Week. The food was delicious and our server (I believe his name is Kevin) was excellent. It was our first time going there, but we will definitely be back!
I had the restaurant week special, brussel sprouts for an appetizer and the filet as the main course, both were delicious. The filet cut like butter, perfectly cooked.
Got a preview of the Restsutant Week menu. The chowder was fabulous. The tuna toke great. Sorry that the heirloom tomato is running out. There's always next year for tomatos. In the meantime the menu is always great n
Bridget Foy's is our "go to" restaurant. The food is consistently well prepared. The specials are clever and tasty. Lately the fried green tomato salad was brilliant. The staff are fine and friendly. Always a pleasure.
I have been to Bridget 3 times now and each time it has disappointed me. I keep going back, thinking its going to be better because its close and it has a nice outdoor seating area but its food is honestly lackluster.
The service was slow and honestly the food is entirely unimpressive, especially for the price I'm paying. The chicken sandwich during brunch this past week was a small, shriveled and mostly just breading piece of chicken. The shakshuka lacked any originality or flavor. I was highly disappointed by my meal and honestly didn't finish it.
Black Bean burger should not have cheese.....most vegetarian or vegan do not eat dairy.
Let customers know when they order one
The food was pretty good and the drinks were amazing. Would definitely go again.
There was a large party of us... 10. We went for brunch. The food was OK, but as soon as someone looked like they were finished their meal the waiter was there to take the plate away, rushing us. The restaurant was empty and there was no need to rush us the way they did. I asked them not to remove our plates until we were all finished, however that didn't stop them. We decided to go someplace else for drinks and dessert. I had to ask for salt and pepper, my eggs were bland.
BF's is a comfortable and good restsutant Tonight the heirloom tomato and burratta salad was great.
Great lobster special. We live nearby and live BF. Always reliable quality tasty good. Great servers who seem happy to be working there. Great cocktails beer selection and apps. Lobster special was awesome. Outdoor dining on the porch on corner of Headhouse great for people watching.
The heirloom tomato salad with house made burratta is spectacular.
Bridgette Foy's is a family favorite!! We went for the lobster fest. My three friends enjoyed their large lobsters and creamy potatoe salad. First time I've ordered the mussels and they were fabulous!
Tonight we had a heirloom tomato and burratta salad which which was fantastic. Also they had a Jersey tomato gazpacho. This is a really creative restaurant. Love their food flair.
I had the lobster dinner and it was delicious and very filling. The staff was very helpful and attentive.
The lobster was delicious and the energetic vibe of the dining room is what makes Bridget Foy's so much fun.
This is our "go to" Restautant. The staff are wonderful. The food is always great especially the "specials". Always varied and unexpected. Really fine place.
Lunch on a rainy Thursday...we sat outside under the awning. Food was delicious, good service.
great place, great location too. We were able to get table outside, enjoyed people watching have great Sangria! Meal was good, seasonal specials for the holiday weekend. Would definitely recommend and will be going back soon.
We had both of the specials for the 4th of July each was delicious. Are server, Bianca was very helpful and attentive.
BF's is always great from a pleasant staff, really good food, nice surroundings and a happy place where it seems that "that everyone knows your name" to coin a phrase. It's a pleasant place and we are regulars there.
We always love dining at Bridget Fay's, driving over an hour to get here. The drinks are fantastic, the food wonderful and top notch service. The only thing that could obviously use improvement - the rest rooms. Quite subpar, especially given everything else this restaurant has to offer. We sat outside on the front porch and enjoyed the smooth jazz street performers that provided the soundtrack for the evening. As always, we'll be back.
BF's is always good and keeps getting better. Good food, good staff, good environment, good bar scene, good value -!what else can you want?
I had the spareribs with potato salad delicious and filling.
Waited 10 mins just to be noticed at table and had a reservation
Had the special St Louis style ribs and potato salad - just great. Everything is really good at BF's.
Fabulous food. Great drinks. Service is always superior. We drive 45 to an hour to eat here. Celebrated many occasions and love introducing this place to friends. One of my favorite restaurants!
The dust on the lamps and ledges was a major turn off. The waiter was great, he was busy but still attentive. The food was average but reasonably priced so worth it.
The Pastrami Scrapple (?) dish with Russian Dressing was phenomenal! Definitely reccomend for brunch and dining.
Food and staff and service are always top notch. Great place eat and relax. Menu is always changing and creative. Worth a visit and a return visit. We go there at least weekly at least. A fun place, high quality.
Dined here after the Broad St Run around 21:30 am. Great breakfast and/or lunch options. Kids and adults enjoyed the food and lively ambience. Fish tacos, veggie burger, and beef burger excellent. This restaurant is always terrific.
