Bridges Restaurant - MD
Always a great experience, but Javier and our staff waiter made it even better. Javier saved us a great spot for our larger party (two tables, one of 4 and 6) -- the food was incredible, zero issues with bringing 6 kids (they were pretty good) :) and the ambiance and service were just great. Thank you, Bridges!!
Bridges is our favorite restaurant for weekend lunch. The food is always great, and the view can't be beat.
Service was great and the view was good .Food was average for the cost. Nothing over-the-top but worth coming back.
Great food and excellent service. Very noisy environment. Hard to converse.
This place gets props for location, setting and view. Parking was a little tricky, but we managed. The staff is young and friendly. Service was prompt and all items ordered were on time and cooked properly. The cream of crab was the best choice by far. Salads, sandwiches and fish tacos were good, but nothing was great. Price and portion size is where I start to lose interest. If not for this issue my rating would be higher. Maybe its me. Do enjoy the view and a cup/ bowl of cream of crab soup.
Nice oyster selection, ahi tuna was very good. Over the years, the noise level has steadily increased. Use to have a quite date night feel. Now it more of a bistro.
Very nice although we should have requested a different table as it was right against the patio door that was being opened and closed throughout our meal because a closed engagement party event going on in the porch area. Would suggest not setting tables against the sliding doors for patrons. Otherwise a very nice meal. Excellent service. Would enthusiastically recommend
Seared scallops over sprouts and stuffed shrimp were great. Whiskey cake was delightful as well. Bridges is our go-to for sure. Never a disappointment.
Bridges is consistently good. The food is a little overpriced but the cocktails are generous and fairly priced. In the summer the outside seating is fantastic. In the winter, it is a little less than cozy because the room is wide open and the seating is not all that comfortable. But I'm a Senior, so the chairs are important to me. We always to there when we are on Kent Island. It is the best restaurant at the Narrows.
The pizzas are great! My husband ordered the Crab Pesto and I got the Roasted Tomato and we shared. We liked both equally. The Firecracker Shrimp appetizer was awesome, too. I particularly liked the light breading.
Our waitress was very attentive. Food was very good. Nice water view. Brought friends for their first visit and they really like it.
Phenomenal in every way. Food, drinks, service, vibe, location, view, clientele.
The restaurant, service, food, and drinks were just perfect!
Enjoyable experience at this Bar/Restaurant on the water. Lively atmosphere with enjoyable live music. Quite busy despite it being a damp February evening. Service was attentive. Food was inconsistent -- really enjoyable cream of crab soup but fried oyster caesar salad was served with almost no dressing and the oysters were heavy on the batter. Mojito was poorly made and had to be sent back. Sangria that was substituted was good. Will return when you can really enjoy the great location!
We stayed at the Hilton Kent Island and found that Bridges was right near it. So happy we went there. Delicious sea food, excellent service and a great table with a water view. We will definitely be back.
A perfect place to enjoy classic seafood dishes RIGHT on the water.
My boyfriend & I visited Annapolis for a weekend getaway and 3 different locals told us to check out Bridges. SO GLAD WE DID!
We went for lunch and will absolutely come back next time we're in town.
Out standing and love the view now that doors are open
Gods food, great service. Great views and outdoor seating in better weather.
I ordered the stuffed flounder , one end if the fillet was raw very rubbery and clear in color . I ate around the undercooked parts but it wasn't very good left a big portion on plate . someone other than our waitress came and cleared table . when waitress came back after table was cleared she asked how everything was I told her fish was undercooked she said she would let them know , heard no more about it. My wives food was good but very small portion for 30 dollar plate. The tables were so close together that we had to scoot our chairs for other patrons to get by for bathroom trips or exiting . I would recommend it though because we were there before and had good experience .
Always enjoy our dates to Bridges. Looking forward to our next visit.
Overall very nice it was a busy night so while it was loud, the service didn’t suffer and we enjoyed both the food and drinks. We’ll be back we are locals, if your not spring and summer are prime times to enjoy the outdoors elements.
We had our rehearsal dinner there years ago and its always a pleasure when we have the opportunity to go back. Michael Moon is the general manager and genuinely cares about giving you a wonderful dining experience. I recommend Bridges to everyone who comes to Kent Island.
Have visited Bridges Restaurant several times and am always happy with the service and the delicious food!!
Bridges is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is excellent, service outstanding and the scenic location perfect.
As always, we loved our recent visit to Bridges. We met friends for lunch. The fish selections were fabulous. Two of us had the salmon, one had rock fish, and the other had shrimp and grits. Let's just say our plates were clean when our server picked up the plates. Service was wonderful - attended to our needs without being interruptive. Her wine suggestion went very well with our meals and was very good. We had a great view of the water from our table. Can't wait for the warm weather so we can sit outside by the water and watch the boats come and go.
Nice selection of oysters and wine. Beautiful view of the sunset. Service was excellent as was the food.
A beautiful February day on the water! The food was delicious! Especially the mussels and fried oysters. The desserts, cinnamon bread pudding and lemon raspberry cake with mascpone filling were nothing short of amazing!
The vegetable crab soup and shrimp and grits were amazing.
We just love Bridges! We make the trek across the bridge several times a year to eat there, and we have lots of great memories.
Went for my wife’s winter birthday. She loves water views and on that this place does not disappoint. Food was stellar and quickly came out. Menu has good variety. Will be returning
We celebrated a retirement at Bridges Saturday evening. We had a round table near a roaring fire on a cold rainy night. Live music made conversations difficult but the ambiance was enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious. Appetizers were Blhue Point and Chincoteague oysters on the half shell with mignonette or cocktail sauce and gently fried, all delicious. All four of us ordered the scallops served over a melange of squash, chives and goat cheese. The scallops were perfectly prepared and the vegetables absolutely delicious. Bridges has become my favorite Kent Island restaurant for special occasions and casual lunches.
All the seafood dishes are delicious, service is exceptional and love sitting near the fireplace on a cold winter day
Took my wife and sister to lunch. They were both disappointed in the salads. I had the turkey sandwich, which was good. The crab soup was very good.
Yes the view is beautiful! My husband and I drive from Columbia, Maryland to try this restaurant that sits on the bay right beyond the Bay Bridge. We love oysters and found this place had them. We ordered 2 dozen and they were excellent. We also ordered the Seared Scallops and Short Ribs which was also absolutely delicious. The highlight of the evening was the dessert...I ordered the lemonberry cake with Mascarpone cheese layered in the middle and it was no doubt the best cake I have ever eaten in my life! We will be back for sure! Service was great😊
We met friends at Bridges for a noon Saturday lunch. Soon after we ordered the place filled up, which caused our order to be delayed to the point where we almost opted to leave. Fortunately this did not happen. All enjoyed the food and we never felt rushed.
Will we return? The answer is yes.
Great service, fantastic food and loved the decor and atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back!
Love the food here! It's hard to talk to guests when the restaurant is busy, very noisy, but otherwise, a great place!
the food is always great, love the water view, and casual atmosphere
