Bridges Restaurant - MD
The view is spectacular and service was good. Unfortunately the food quality and value poor. The prices I thought were high. For a pizza, burger and fries, and soft shell crabs, the total was $54, one soda.

Soo delicious, music was nice but not overpowering, wonderful ambience and superb service!
I always have great service and excellent food when I eat at Bridges!
Excellent food and excellent service, but food was not spaced out properly. Timing of the appetizers was appropriate, but our salads came out about five minutes later. On top of that, our entree arrived within 5mins from the time we received our salads. We felt very rushed between courses.
It's very loud in the dining room. I would have sat on the bar side if I had known this. Usually the bar is louder but that was not the case. It took a little while for our waitress to great us but after that everything was good.
The Bridges is a restaurant on the water providing great views. The food is excellent. The Calamari is one of the best I have had. The Parrotfish was excellent too.
The calamari and scallops were goooooooooooooooooood! Mmmmmmmmmmm!
Outstanding location and view, matched only by the wonderful cuisine.
Our waitress was very attentive. The food was good!
Meet friends there for lunch....always enjoyable!!! Good food, service and view!!
Bridges always delivers! This is probably our favorite restaurant on Kent Island - and as locals, we've been to them all many times. The menu is interesting, the food is always delicious, adn the views and atmosphere is great. The bar wait staff can get a little cranky, but the dining room is very professional.
My third time at Bridges and it never disappoints. I enjoyed the clams appetizer and the soft shell crabs entree and my plates looked as if they had just come out of the dishwasher. I found this restaurant on a drive south and now my annual road trip always includes dinner here. Highly recommend.
Lovely waterfront setting and relaxed dining experience. The food is excellent and the servers are friendly and attentive (but not hovering). We never felt hurried. My favorite restaurant at Kent Narrows.
We have ALWAYS had a wonderful experience at Bridges, enjoying the incredible view along with the freshly prepared food. This was Easter Sunday afternoon when every table was filled. The attentive staff made us feel totally relaxed, the food came out quickly and was well prepared.
- Bridges devotees from the beginning
Love this place, outstanding view and tremendous service. But disappointed they removed two of our favorites from the menu: berry salmon and short rib. Apparently it’s a winter vs. summer menu thing, so - ok, we get that, and our favorites might return this fall, but still - we went last night with the stated intent (to ourselves) to order those and were disappointed there weren’t available- we even tried to order anyway but the ingredients weren’t prepped. Again, we get it, and it’s a good problem to have when your customers love what you’ve done in the past so much they come back for it again. But even the happy hour veggie pizza is gone. (For now?) We’ll definitely be back and love this place - last night’s alternatives were very good - my New York strip steak in particular was excellent. But we may defer on returning until the return of the winter menu. Given the awesome waterfront views here - not to mention the best service - I doubt they’ll have any trouble staying busy until we return.
Bridges has good, reasonably priced food and drinks, spectacular view, especially at sunset. Gets pretty loud.
Enjoyed the evening....food was delicious. Definitely will come again next trip to Md.
Excellent food and service.
I love the setting, the interior, the food, the drinks - always good!
Fabulous restaurant. The food was amazing. Our server, Sam, was friendly and very professional. We will visit again on our next trip to the area. One of my sons is a sous chef, so I know a little bit about the restaurant business and the food here is top notch.
I cannot say enough good things about our wonderful experience at the Bridges Restaurant. My wife and I had been traveling and stopped at a nearby hotel. We were looking for a nice place to relax, have a good meal, and unwind. The Bridges was a couple of hundred yards from our hotel so we thought we would take a chance. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is located on the water offering spectacular views of the surrounding area. We were lucky enough to arrive there late in the day thus offering us a beautiful sunset to enjoy. Because of the time of year (early April) and the hour the restaurant was not crowed or loud. Our server was excellent. She was very attentive, friendly and professional. She made our stay there a wonderful and relaxing experience. The bottom line in restaurant is not the ambiance or the service but the food. The seafood my wife and I had was outstanding. She had a small bowl of their cream of crab soup and a small plate of scallops and risotto. The portion was perfect for her and she raved about how delicious it all was. I opted to start with fried oysters for an appetizer and moved onto seared scallops for my main course. They were both excellent.
The scallops I had came with some saute'd vegetables and an bacon, maple, and orange sauce of some kind that was out of this world. We had a bottle of Fume' Blanc with dinner and the wine was good and fairly priced. Overall this was a wonderful meal and one that we will remember for a long time.
We heard about this restaurant from friends in Stevensville so we had to try it on such a beautiful day. The atmosphere was great and food, once we got our food, was great. The waiter was apologetic for his tardiness and gave us our bottle of wine free since he was late getting the bottle to our table. If service has been a little better, this place would be five stars. I will definitely try it again!
Great food. Excellent service and fantastic ambience!!
Fantastic food, stunning view, great music, and friendly staff make this our go to place.
Great atmosphere our server was outstanding how ever the prices are quite high for the food. The Cream of Crab soup was very good I had a steak as my entrée, I have had steaks at a much lower cost that were much better. I don't mind paying more for the location and being on the water but I would hope the food would match the price and the atmosphere, that's not the case at The Bridges. Our server Stefan was very good, bring the quality of the food up to match the service and the restaurant and I will be back.
Always a great experience, but Javier and our staff waiter made it even better. Javier saved us a great spot for our larger party (two tables, one of 4 and 6) -- the food was incredible, zero issues with bringing 6 kids (they were pretty good) :) and the ambiance and service were just great. Thank you, Bridges!!
Bridges is our favorite restaurant for weekend lunch. The food is always great, and the view can't be beat.
Service was great and the view was good .Food was average for the cost. Nothing over-the-top but worth coming back.
Great food and excellent service. Very noisy environment. Hard to converse.
This place gets props for location, setting and view. Parking was a little tricky, but we managed. The staff is young and friendly. Service was prompt and all items ordered were on time and cooked properly. The cream of crab was the best choice by far. Salads, sandwiches and fish tacos were good, but nothing was great. Price and portion size is where I start to lose interest. If not for this issue my rating would be higher. Maybe its me. Do enjoy the view and a cup/ bowl of cream of crab soup.
Nice oyster selection, ahi tuna was very good. Over the years, the noise level has steadily increased. Use to have a quite date night feel. Now it more of a bistro.
Very nice although we should have requested a different table as it was right against the patio door that was being opened and closed throughout our meal because a closed engagement party event going on in the porch area. Would suggest not setting tables against the sliding doors for patrons. Otherwise a very nice meal. Excellent service. Would enthusiastically recommend
Seared scallops over sprouts and stuffed shrimp were great. Whiskey cake was delightful as well. Bridges is our go-to for sure. Never a disappointment.
Bridges is consistently good. The food is a little overpriced but the cocktails are generous and fairly priced. In the summer the outside seating is fantastic. In the winter, it is a little less than cozy because the room is wide open and the seating is not all that comfortable. But I'm a Senior, so the chairs are important to me. We always to there when we are on Kent Island. It is the best restaurant at the Narrows.
The pizzas are great! My husband ordered the Crab Pesto and I got the Roasted Tomato and we shared. We liked both equally. The Firecracker Shrimp appetizer was awesome, too. I particularly liked the light breading.
Our waitress was very attentive. Food was very good. Nice water view. Brought friends for their first visit and they really like it.
Phenomenal in every way. Food, drinks, service, vibe, location, view, clientele.
The restaurant, service, food, and drinks were just perfect!
Enjoyable experience at this Bar/Restaurant on the water. Lively atmosphere with enjoyable live music. Quite busy despite it being a damp February evening. Service was attentive. Food was inconsistent -- really enjoyable cream of crab soup but fried oyster caesar salad was served with almost no dressing and the oysters were heavy on the batter. Mojito was poorly made and had to be sent back. Sangria that was substituted was good. Will return when you can really enjoy the great location!
We stayed at the Hilton Kent Island and found that Bridges was right near it. So happy we went there. Delicious sea food, excellent service and a great table with a water view. We will definitely be back.
