Whether you stop by for a hearty breakfast in the morning, a savory bite for lunch or crave something for dinner that will send your stomach into a food-frenzy, Bridges Dining Company has something that will keep you coming back for more. The same says a lot about its location. The Restaurant is situated between three major Illinois bridges and each with their own historical significance. What a great way to pay tribute to a small piece of Illinois/Kentucky pride by creating a place that features familiar favorites with Chef Broussard’s personal twist. Great Service, Delicious food and Fun, make this a perfect combination. Bridges serves signature items such as BDC Chop Salad, BDC Cream Avocado Dip and our special House grind Burger. Our Menu features Barbeque items that are smoked in house with hardwood using our own signature Rubs.

We both had the prime rib dinner. Steak was overly fatty and tough to cut and chew. We realize prime rib has a lot of fat, but this was not good quality meat. Not much flavor. This is the only restaurant other than the buffet. Very disappointed.

This is truly one of the most wonderful places God has given us to dine at.Warm people great food with exceptional quality regardless of choice, which changes on a regular schedule...the service is always exceptional...especially Tera our favorite waitress, she always treats us like family...We drive 2 1/2 hours or more to dine and stay there, it is worth every effort we put forth. We only wish it was closer to our home....cant say enough good about this place, never had a bad meal or service there in ten years, thanks for letting me give a review, you are the greatest..Mike Seward Bardstown, Ky.

Our second visit to Bridges, delicious steaks and Signature dishes, recommended for a nice quite dinner, very comfortable, no rush, knowledgeable staff, great speciality drinks. We will visit often. I dislike chain restaurants that rush you in & out, Bridges is our new dining favorite. after dinner we spent fun time in the Casino, I was a winner !!!

Kind of a spur of the moment trip. Arrived with no reservation then decided to see if I could pop one in quickly on Open Table with Iphone which I accessed thru Trip Advisor. Bingo - it worked. They were actually running 20 minutes behind but all went okay. Pretty pricey - most items 10 to 15 dollars higher than normal but it was a Casino so there is that. Steak was excellent.
Pepsi products only is a down item - ridiculous not to have Coke Products for this type operation!!

This was the 2nd birthday celebration that we have had at Bridges. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Casino right next door for before and/or after dinner activities. Our server on each occasion was very friendly and helpful. Our dinners on each occasion were phenomenal! We all agree that we have never had better steaks. We have tried the filet, ribeye and porterhouse steaks. They were all amazing. Side dishes and appetizers we're also yummy. We were brought complimentary cheesecake each time for the birthday diners. Delicious as well. We would recommend Bridges to anyone looking for a delicious steak that will melt in your mouth and is seasoned and cooked so perfectly, you won't need steak sauce and barely need a knife.

Of all the times I've eaten there, this was the worst. I waited over 45 minutes to get my food. When it arrived, the steak was room temperature, the potato would not melt the butter, and the steamed broccoli might have been steamed earlier, but was cold - not cool, but cold, as in out of the refrigerator cold.

I got the ribs this time, my wife got the petite filet. The ribs had a good smoky flavor and the sauce was excellent. They were just a touch drier than I would have preferred. Tomato based with a solid dose of smoke. The filet cooked to perfection. These guys always get their steaks right.
The service was just outstanding. Tara really took great care of us and was very nice. She gets 9 stars out of 5. :-)

My filet was undercooked, bad! I showed the waitress and she took it to have it fixed. The cook, I am assuming it was the cook, cut it open and laid it flat on the grill. So, I had my steak returned to me in a very awkward way with new grill marks. However, it was still undercooked. I asked for medium, but this was bleeding and I mean bleeding. It was like the only thing cooked was just the outside. That's rare or medium rare-NOT MEDIUM.
This is the first bad experience I have ever had with a steak here, so I would definitely return.

We chose to dine here for our anniversary. We waited for several minutes for anyone to come to the host podium. We were seated near the back corner of the restaurant. In the first 10-15 mins, I watched patrons repeatedly searching for staff members. There was no one. I watched a man walk out and another man walk INTO THE KITCHEN area to get his own cup of coffee because he had grown tired of waiting. I watched multiple people approach the host podium, looking into the restaurant for someone to seat them. It was approx 15 mins before anyone came to our table to offer us anything to drink.
The server finally came to the table. We ordered drinks and attempted to order our meal. She advised us that they were out of the porterhouse, 10 oz. filet, and sweet potato fries - we came for the filets. There was no offer to compensate for their lack of food. Just an apology. We were hungry. We decided to stay and ordered ribeyes.
I observed a male staff member in a dress shirt walk from the rear of the restaurant to the host podium. I approached him and asked if he was the manager. He said that he was. I told him we had come for our anniversary and had never seen the likes of such: 1/2 of the steaks from the menu unavailable, a patron serving himself coffee, another patron walking out, etc. The manager scowled at me and began making excuses for everything. He said the man who served himself coffee had been waiting a long time because of a computer issue they were having. And? There is no excuse for a customer to have to serve themselves! The manager then stated that there were only 2 steaks unavailable and acted like it wasn’t a big deal; pretty much blew me off and never looked up from the podium. I returned to my seat. Waste of breath.
The food was good but the experience was awful. This place has gone downhill and it’s easy to see why! Our meals were comped by the server - not the manager, Sean! He never came to our table to check on us or apologize.

The wife and I went to each enjoy a steak dinner but I noticed how reasonably priced their ribs were. So I got a full rack. It arrived a way that you seldom see. Usually bar-b-que sauce is slathered all over the ribs, but this was served the way I like with the sauce on the side. You could put as little or as much as you wanted. You could actually taste the meat and it was delicious. The wife also has a problem with dark green vegetables and blood clots in her system. She is allowed to have iceberg lettuce. The waitress had a salad made up especially for her. The baked potato was HUUUUGE. Great Service from the mother of Rogan.

We were there for breakfast on the day of the eclipse and the hotel was full. Bridges was the only breakfast option. Without an open table reservation we would have waited an hour. Restaurant was understaffed. Poor management decision with a full hotel not to have either another option for breakfast or proper staffing. Doesn't take a genius! Food was good but service more than lacked..

I took my husband here for his birthday. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty with the exception of one other table. The server was prompt and courteous. We usually order steaks but decided to try something different. My husband ordered the ribs; I ordered the half chicken. The restaurant started to fill up quickly and there were only two servers visible. They were swamped. It appeared as though someone from the kitchen was running food to tables. Our server did not come back to our table for a very long time. I had run out of water and my husband needed another beer. My husband said the ribs were good. My chicken was okay. It tasted bland and was very oily; however, the greens and potatoes were good.
I would say it was only a fair value for what we received. It was nearly $75 for three domestic draft beers, one glass of red wine, an appetizer of onion petals, my chicken dish, and my husband's ribs.
I think we will stick to steaks next time. Also, I wish they had appropriate waitstaff. Part of what you pay for when dining out is the experience. It's hard to experience much of anything when all you see is your server whizzing by to tend to other tables.
