Bridge Street Bistrot & Wine Bar Ratings and Reviews
The service was fantastic very knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive to our needs. The food was amazing lots of great option. Often there's one or two things on the menu I am willing to order I would order over half of the menu happily can't wait to go back and try my second top choices.
It was a delight dining at the bistro. My friend is leaving for France and we enjoyed the
ambiance of your place....soft lighting/simple but sweet décor. The food was exquisite
just as Zach said it is.
I have already recommended it to a neighbor. (I would have checked off romantic/date
above.....but I am soooo beyond that.) Wish you were open on Sundays as my friends and
I like an early dinner.....but I understand your timeline.
You have an attentive/pleasant group that caters to guests...it was a lovely experience.
I am so happy Zach is with you.
Will see you again.
The owner was a lovely hostess, and her French chef husband, Stefan, created lovely plates. The ambiance was romantic, we were able to have a conversation in our normal voices, and the food, drinks, and dessert was fabulous. Our server was wonderful too. Highly recommend!
The food choices were varied and delicious at this delightful French bistro and wine bar. The service was excellent with attention to detail in all things; plates removed and water glasses and coffee filled promptly. This is a very charming French restaurant and a neighborhood gem. We will definitely return to The Bridge Street Bistrot and Wine Bar!
Fabulous French food with a delightful wine selection (but of course!). Superb, friendly non-stuffy service. We came here for a birthday celebration and were not disappointed. Amazing appetizers, smooth sauces and savory seafood (there is meat available as well). Dessert was divine.

We had a very small celebration planned and Bridge Street Bistrot was the perfect choice... very nice atmosphere (not stuffy), moderate noise level, excellent service, outstanding appetizers and dinners. The prices are very reasonable. Our server described the dishes very accurately and offered great suggestions. We eat out often, but somehow overlook this restaurant -- no more. We'll be back. We highly recommend Bistrot.
Once again my wife and I returned to the Bistrot for a belated celebration of our 15th wedding anniversary. The food was exquisite, well presented, and very accommodating to the palate. The service was excellent.
We will be returning in November for our birthday(s) celebration.

All three meals were delicious. We had the duck, filet and mixed grill. All we're prepared as we asked. Our only disappointment was the potato galette were not hot enough. The staff promptly corrected this and gave us a free dessert. This is a gem in the heart of Portsmouth!
we are big fans of this restaurant. the wait staff is always very accommodative. the service is prompt. the menu is creative. the entrees are tasty and the portions are reasonable. there is parking right across the street. and the restaurant is nearby to locations of interest. even better, our company loved it as well!
