Welcome to the Bridge Bistro. We are an independent, locally owned restaurant, located on Highway 3 and along the Elk River, with the most amazing views overlooking the beautiful Lizard Range.

Made in house, European and north American style cooking, Eggs Benny’s, bowls and skillets for breakfast, soups and stews, wraps and sandwiches, quesadillas and pizzas for lunch and for dinner we offer burgers, pastas, pizzas and explore with Canadian wild meat; Alberta boar schnitzel with spätzle and Alberta Bison Carpaccio to name a couple. New for this winter is our appetizer / small plate menu, we offer 12 different little plates, you can pick and choose, and have a few as you main, or share one.

On nice sunny days, we open up our overhead doors, and invite you to join us on the patio or if you so choose, feel the sun and the breeze even sitting indoors.

NOTE TO GUESTS: UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE UNABLE TO GUARANTEE ANY RESERVATIONS ON THE PATIO DURING PEAK SUMMER SEASON.

Food is good! Menu is however a little limited. Wine list is poor only two per glass red or white options. None of which are good. So had a cocktail instead! Staff was very friendly and food came in good time. Interior could use a facelift, looking a little tired.

Don’t be put off by the uninteresting street appeal of this place. Once you get through the doors the ambiance and character take a step up. The service is friendly, helpful and efficient. The food (we both ordered the ribeye special) was well prepared, very tasty and reasonably priced. The bar offers a range of local brews on tap a a modest wine list but we found a bottle that paired nicely with the meal. We will definitely go back.

It was an unexpected pleasure of different tastes and variety of food. One girl took care of most of the restaurant effortlessly.

Had a great meal with the family. Great atmosphere and nice to have a kids menu. Was busy so people like the place, would definitely go back.

I realize it's Fernie but this place just tries too hard. The restaurant is nice inside but the menu should be simpler. I had roast chicken and it was tough and dried out.

I had the trout w/ risotto . Trout was lovely, risotto too creamy - otherwise it was fine dining.

Ambience was pleasant. service was excellent, although food was slow to arrive and terribly disappointing when it finally came...Food was obviously from frozen packages, fish was still cold in the middle. Pasta was grey in color, chicken greasy: will never be back.

The restaurant was very busy (New Year’s Eve) but they were obvious adequately staffed, as there were no delays with the service or the kitchen getting our meal to us. All the staff were super friendly. The food was very nicely cooked and presented.
