Brick Wood Fired Bistro
Great service by Natalie. Really comfortable and relaxing place and pleasant surprise in this little town. Love the fact that food is made from scratch. Truffle fries were out of this world and beet salad was excellent. Pasta was nice but sauce was a touch sweet (I prefer savory) and pasta was a bit too soft for me (I prefer al dente), and bucatini soft isn’t as ideal. But, I highly recommend this place!!
Brunch was ok- would go back again but for lunch or dinner. Brunch isn’t their “thing”
We had another wonderful dining experience Friday evening. Even though the restaurant was very busy, our server was terrific about keeping our drinks refilled. The food was excellent. My husband loved the new pork chop dish! We hope it is included on the new menu for the fall. Our absolutely favorite restaurant ever!
Love this place :) i am sad the didnt keep their steak from their old menu but i still love this place!
Husband asked for his steak medium, it came out completely raw. Sent it back, still came back raw. My chicken and potatoes were soaked from the stock.
Nice Sunday brunch in the bar area. Unfortunately small children created a disturbance. Too bad.
While we apologize for the children disturbing you, the bar area offers over 100 seats, from the booths, to high tops, to the bar top itself. We do not allow children to sit at the bar top itself, but we can not discriminate to families who want to come into the bar area with their children to watch TV or enjoy happy hour. We are glad to hear you enjoyed brunch, though!
Food was outstanding, cooked to perfection. Service was spot on - we were not rushed but waiter was there when we were ready, and the food was served in reasonable time. Highly recommended!
Thanks so much, Hannah!! Glad you enjoyed your experience at Brick!
The bruch here is fantastic. Creme Brûlée' French toast. Go no further...
Thanks so much! We are glad to hear you enjoyed brunch! Come see us for dinner, too!
Fish was a little over cooked, rice a bit bland, otherwise good. Great service.
Welcomed with a Smile!! We love the big booths (especially with 3 kiddos) and the pizza was AMAZING!! We love watching our kiddos make their own pizzas! We found out tonight that you can order the Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake (whole cake) for special occasions!!!! Eeeekkk maybe I shouldn’t tell y’all that because it’s Incredible and I almost don’t want to let this secret out!!!!!
The hostess welcomes you with a bright and warming smile!! She was amazing and made our time change from 6pm to 6:30pm without any issues. We love the roomy booths, especially as a family of 5!! The food is always delicious and such a great place to have a family dinner.
Love the new menu, other than there are too many new things to try!
Thanks, Pam! We are glad you enjoyed your experience! Looking forward to having you back to try new menu items!
Very good food. Service took a little while but they made up for it by giving us free drinks.
We are glad you enjoyed your experience! Looking forward to having you back! We do apologize for the slow service, we do pride ourselves on good service so we will be sure this is something we communicate with our staff!
Only my second time there decided to have brunch with the first lady of my church my wife and my daughter who turns 14 tomorrow. My daughter and I ordered the skirt steak and eggs over easy the steak medium. Well eggs were not over easy almost done egg yoke not runny at all the way we prefer. But this could have been a one off so I wouldn't give up on this place the first time my wife and I went on our Anniversary during a weekday and everything was great we will be going back to give it another try.
We do apologize your meals were not up to par for your second visit. We will be sure to discuss this matter with our cooks. We hope to see you back for brunch to change your dining experience!
Enjoyed brunch for fathers day. Our server was pleasant and friendly and the food was good. The servings were large...couldn't finish my French Toast. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
We enjoyed our visit to the Brick. The ambience was great and our server Kayla was even better. Looking forward to visiting again.
We are glad you enjoyed your experience! Looking forward to having you back! We will be sure to let Kayla know of this great review!
Good and authentic food. Great service. We enjoyed ourselves.
The food was wonderful and the service was great! I ordered the Plane Jane pizza and it was very good!! Can’t wait to come here again!
We are glad you enjoyed your experience! Looking forward to having you back!
The service was good. WE had the roasted brussel sprouts. very good and a wood fired pizza. My only complaint is that it was very cold in the restaurant and I shivered thought the whole dinner.
It was a bit crowded but with it being Mother's Day, I can totally understand. Really not enough room to put buffet items in the walkway and it did make it hard to get in and out. With all the food and people in the restaurant it made it extremely hot inside. Almost too uncomfortable to eat. Recommend turing up the AC when you have a full house! But overall it was very good. Service, food, quality all very good. We enjoyed our Mother's Day brunch. Would recommend this place and will go back.
Delicious brunch buffet with lots of delicious options! The complimentary mimosa was an added bonus! Staff was super friendly and very accommodating.
Red wine served chilled - was told it comes out of a tap which is why it is cold.
Great service, our waitress was wonderful, and the brunch was delicious.
The server was friendly, and service was quick. The food was very good.
This was my first visit to Brick Wood Fired Bistro. My friend and I went to the Easter brunch and were very happy with our choice of restaurant. The service was terrific. The food was quite good and the prices, for the brunch anyway, were very reasonable. I found it a bit loud but I have a hearing problem so it could just be me. I have already recommended it to another friend and I intend to go back. There are so many things on the menu that I want to try it will take quite a few visits.
Crab stack was amazing although a little heavy on the red onions, mushroom portabella was delicious as well as kale salad. Great service provided by Brittany.
I felt that for the value the portions were shockingly small. We ordered two meals for both approx $30.00 each and expected a bit more food. The food was good but not spectacular. For the price, we were surprised that bread was not included with the meal.
I was hungry when I went to bed and I am not a big person.
For the price, I may try the pizza next time.
I felt that the service was good and we did enjoy our evening out.
Made a reservation for teen birthday party via open table and even came to restaurant to confirm details a few weeks before to ensure semi-private seating in round tables separating adults and teens. Upon arrival was told that a larger party requested same space and we were bumped. Manager was rude and just said they shouldn’t have made any promises. Party was a drag because seating at long table in open loud room made interaction among guests difficult. We were so disappointed for our daughter’s special day and we will not return.
Relaxing evening to catch up over dinner. A requested booth in the bar was perfect to chat while viewing March Madness games. The farm to table fare was delicious. Comfortable noise level allowed talking and not shouting! Staff were attentive, recommendations were spot on and did not rush us to turnover the booth. It was a delightful evening with exceptional cuisine.
Ordered the chorizo sliders. The whole dish was lukewarm and the bread was about a day past freshness. I could tell that bread was about to be stale and inedible, but toasting it gave it just a little more life.
Fantastic food. The pizza (mushroom) was great and the Brussels Sprouts were amazing. Seated quickly. Highly recommend.
The service was outstanding and the food was just as great to back it up! Having a small child we could have done without the live music but they sat us on the other side of the restaurant for a quieter experience. Can’t wait to go back!
Nice atmosphere. Our server was attentive. The Oysters were very good. I had a brick oven pizza that was OK, just a little bland. My friends had the crab pasta and seemed to enjoy it.
A nice place to eat, enjoyed a good meal. Pizzas were good, Gnocchi was very good & eggplant cannelloni was alright. Overall it was a good place to have dinner, nothing exceptional but was good.
The Cannelloni had very little eggplant and an abundance of ricotta cheese, I like ricotta but thats all i tasted. Brick oven Pizzas were just that average flavor sauces had little to no flavor strictly tomato sauce.
This was my third visit. Wanted to celebrate my 80th birthday because of my past experience. The menue has changed it was disappointing. My guests had difficulty finding something they would enjoy. Although they seemed to have enjoyed what they ordered. My order on the other hand, was almost uneateable. I had Cannelloni which was over cooked to the point the pasta was hard as a brick (no pun intended). I am not one to complain in front of my guests or to embarrass the server. She was absolutely attentive and very professional. I told the waitress after my meal, asked her to inform the kitchen and showed her the brick pasta. However, the deserts were out of this world. That sort of made up for whatever failings the dinner menue had. It was not the worst experience, but it was disappointing. We did linger for several hours talking and catching up on family news because of the relaxed atmosphere. The wait staff just let us linger and we appreciated that. I said I would not recommend the place but I am not totally sure that I would do that. If there were another option I might have said (possible)
This is an amazing place for date night or hanging at the bar with friend. The food was excellent and the service matched it. Overall 5 start.
I thought the food was great but not a great value. The food we received was definitely not worth the price. Nothing was included with either entree. I ordered cannelloni and received a small dish with two and nothing else, not even bread, for $15.00. My husband ordered a medium size pizza for $20.00 and that's it. We went to Lone Star on Saturday and spent the same amount of money and got bread, a salad, a side and our main course. In summary, great food, poor value.
We have been going to Brick since it opened. It is great for a date night or a family dinner. Brick is our favorite restaurant in the county!
Family from out of town.
Total service at the Brick to include the food was incredible!
