Our farm takes a genuine approach to sustainable farming; raising and pasturing our animals including pigs, sheep, chickens, turkeys, ducks and goats on 800 acres in the Hopewell Valley creating a truly authentic farm-to-table dining experience in an 1800s Hopewell farm house.
The bar features local craft beers, artisan cocktails & wine tastings with Troon Brewing and Sourland Mountain Spirits located right on the premises.

My overall experience at this restaurant was outstanding: the food, service, place itself A small suggestion is to have larger variety in beer for all different preferences.

This was my first time at Brick Farm and I must say the service was fantastic. Upon ordering the waiter asked me for food allergies. He put in my order and came back minutes later apologizing but most of the menu was cooked with my allergy and my only options were a steak or burger. Well, I am pregnant- who wants a well done burger or steak!? The chef accommodated me and gave me an item off their restaurant week menu which was delicious. Such good service!
Lovely setting, professional waitstaff, delicious food, original and generous cocktails and fine wines. The music could be turned down a bit.
The valet guy was superb, he helped pop surprise flowers in my friend’s car. Service was a little slow especially to get offered a drink in the first instance. The food was great though, I’ll definitely return.
The ambiance of Brick Farm Tavern is inviting, warm and beautiful. The restaurant was crowded and we were asked to wait at the bar. The drink menu is excellent. Our reservation was at 7:30 and we were kept waiting until 8:15. The management apologized profusely and had appetizers waiting on our table for us when we were seated. The food was delicious and the service top-notch. I will definitely return!
Food , service and atmosphere great but a little too noisy. The music too loud.
This is a beautiful place to dine. The menu is very unique, very creative. And the food beautifully prepared and delicious. We will definitely return bringing friends and look forward to dining on the outside patio.

The drinks were weak from the bar. The service was very good, the food was over cooked, and the flavor was middle of the road. Dessert was okay.
We were seated downstairs. It was quiet and romantic. Our server Dan was excellent and the food as always was superb. Our drinks were very good also. A wonderful evening. Can’t wait to go back.
It was restaurant week and they offered a 3 course meal at a good price. We enjoyed our dinner and the drinks are always unique and yummy. Too bad they don’t offer specials more often so it’s affordable for us local Hopewellians. An affordable happy hour in the springtime on the patio would be awesome!
Had the Devon Beef. It was outstanding. The other people in our party all commented that their food was equally as good.
Portions a bit too small. My husband 's pasta dish was very small for an entree portion and also not hot.

For me it is not about the price but the experience, we don’t have many options in the area so I hope this can get better otherwise it will be princeton next time for the peacock Inn or something similar.
It was awful. Except for the service. Both my first and second course (soup and duck) were stone cold. Two of the other courses (both lamb meatballs) simply didn't taste good. they did not charge for the duck but the meal was ruined.
Skip it and go elsewhere.
Perfect country setting! We love it each time we bring family and friends. Lunch was delicious. Shepherd's pie version was good. Turkey Pot Pie was too much but tasty. French Dip Sandwich was good as always.
Empanadas of the day were served hot and good flavors. Best carrot cake so far in the area.
Our server was friendly and attentive.
My second time, here, I had been to the Brick Farm Tavern for dinner about 6 months back to celebrate a wedding anniversary. This time was a small family get-together for lunch. Everything is great - the 200 year old house is beautiful, and I think even more lovely in daylight. For dinner it was very nice, and someplace I would return to for special events. But I was pleasantly surprised how affordable it is for lunch - many main dishes in the $12-$15 range. And the food was original, made with locally sourced produce and meats of the highest quality, and the recipes were unique and delicious. Friendly, knowledgeable service from a staff that is clearly and rightly proud of the tavern. We'll be returning frequently.
Wonderful meal, the casual atmosphere let’s you relax and the food is unbelievable, yet unpretentious.
We had a wonderful table overlooking the farm grounds and it was a beautiful, rustic, relaxed ambiance. The service, food and craft cocktails were all on point, and we enjoyed talking to the staff, who were very friendly and informative. We will definitely be back and would recommend this place to all! Food and atmosphere are as good as it gets. restaurant is definitely on the pricey side, but worth every penny.
Server was very disappointing as barely responded to any questions and never asked about meal.
Menu choices were lacking as well.
This was my second visit to Brick Farm Tavern and it was even more amazing than the first. From the minute you walk in the staff is all friendly and inviting. The service is so attentive and the food is just deliciously amazing. I was here to celebrate my husbands' birthday and had the pleasure of Dan (the man) as our server for the night and Alan as our sommelier. Ooh yes for this dining experience we had the 8-course chefs tasting menu with wine pairings. Dan was very attentive and Alan just blew us out the park with his extensive knowledge of the wines and how they paired with each dish, we got excited about each course as Alan would give us the details of the chosen wine before each course was served. Our last 2 courses were served in the crows nest of this restaurant which overlooks the dining room and provided a very intimate atmosphere to finish the night. I was soo happy they made my husbands birthday so special I had to hug Dan "the man" at the end of the last course. I will definitely be back with friends and family, this restaurant flew to the top of my list effortlessly, both times I had an amazing experience, all the staff are so happy and inviting, and multiple rooms for dining service makes it feel so cozy. Overall, we loved our dinner out, the place, the staff, and the food!
The most bothering issues were not really uncommon or specific to Brick Farm—it is the fact that in the best places to eat—everyone is being jammed in the same room to sit, talk, order, and eat! It is like humans eat like cows do— crowded together, talking together, and making noises together! The room could have been warmer, and the parking was non existent— a fire in the room would have been fantastic!
My idea of eating at a nice place is a warm room, a fire to look at, soft pleasant music, and alcove eating spaces— twisted and disconnected— like a maze—opened but private— like half walls with plants on the shelves— where you do not feel boxed in— yet you feel like you do not have to listen to loudly bragging stock brokers, big mouth idiots never told to stop talking so loudly, or giggles from those unaware individuals not knowing that the entire world does not want to hear their raucous laughter— like those distractions often heard from those sad people who like to be heard and seen because their lives are so damn miserable! And, I do not think that silverware or business desks should be in the eating room.
Having said the above, Chris was fantastic— he was polite, knowledgeable about every dish, made great suggestions, and was attentive without being intrusive! The food was absolutely delicious in every way, the proportions were sufficient without being excessive, and the home brew—Troon was really good! Worth every penny and we look forward to going back!
Please cut and paste last sentence, because the blah blah issues were minor— but are in every eating situation— seemingly getting worse— the last paragraph is how we actually feel!

Once again, my food was delicious and the accompanying wine excellent. If not an extensive menu, I find selections are great for a visit every two or three weeks.
First and second courses were outstanding. Dessert disappointing. Noise level high due to two larger boisterous groups seated in the same room with us.
Went with my wife as our valentines dinner. We both got the chefs tasting menu. 6 course we really enjoyed it. A lot of food. Tina tartar was outstanding along with the pork with Brussels sprouts and the duck breast with grits. Realy nailed it chef. Thank you.
Menu was amazing, you can have a burger (best in NJ) or a beautiful cassoulet. Dishes are beautifully composed but not pretentious. Many options and generous portions, very good value. Wine list was interesting but accessible. Service and staff were perfect. Definitely a new regular haunt!
First time at Brick Farm Tavern and it did not disappoint. Greg, our waiter, was great and so service-oriented. He was knowledgeable, gracious and friendly. The appetizers, French onion soup and the beets, were both delicious. The main courses of tortellini and the pork chop were each terrific. This farm to table restaurant is special and well worth trying.

Steak was fatty and the chefs tasting portions were small. Left with a bill of 250$ and still hungry
