Father’s Day and Anniversary celebration. Food took too long..appetizers came so late we were done with our drinks..another 40 mins to the main meal. Very hot and buggy in the tent..some fans would have been nice and bug spray! Food was amazing though as always..but we had to rush through it as the young ones were getting tired..our reservation was at 6 pm…we didnot finish until 8:30 pm!
This is a really really good place to eat. Excellent staff and food!
We requested the bar, when we arrived we were seated in corner next to busy pass through- requested to move
Servers were not pleased but cooperated
Need to vary the menu more.
The night I was there they were out of the beer and wine I liked. (???) that was strange.
Otherwise, service was great and food delicious.
We had an amazing dinner at Brick Farm Tavern. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully plated. Our server Zach was professional and helpful. The manager came over to ensure that we were enjoying everything. Definitely recommend!
Great ambiance in a rustic farmhouse setting. Lunch was great and beer selection was good.
Staff and food were great. We sat in the wine cellar, only improvement would be the addition of some cool lighting for ambiance.
Went for a birthday lunch and sat outside. Great service and great food. We will be back!
Went for a bday lunch. Service was good and food and drinks wonderful as usual.
Wait to show table - 15 min (no one was waiting ahead of us). We were 6-7 of us waiting and no one even looked at us. Time to place order after seating 20 mins. Troon beers were nice but $9 for half a bottle. Pretzels were good. Everything else (burger, salsa and chips, egg Benedict, tofu wrap, tacos were very ordinary). With the eggs, just five leaves of spring mix salad were served. Overall unsatisfactory.
The food was delicious and the outdoor space is beautiful. It used to be pricey and snooty, but our recent experience was perfect. What is not too like.
Returned here with our family. Food, drink and service were all great. Look forward to our next visit
Simply outstanding; this is the place to find some of the most interesting preparations in the area.
A little disappointing... food was average and very small portions, even for me who is not a big eater. Also very small menu. They seemed to be trying too hard to be fancy. Ambience was a little loud as they were having a big event in a tent about 200 yds away but still had to talk a little loud. All in all ok, but I’d prob not return..
Lovely setting, especially if you're seated at one of the outdoor tables NOT in the tent, which is unappealing in the extreme (think school cafeteria) and was much too close to the loud music of a private event elsewhere on the property. We were seated inside at one of the high tables with stools, which were very uncomfortable and not intended for dining. Service was very good. But the food was a huge disappointment - nicely presented but all of it much too sweet, bordering on the cloying. 'Buffalo' cauliflower fritters looked and tasted like they'd been dipped in molasses. Someone in the kitchen needs to make a trip to Buffalo for real wings - these had nothing to do with those justifiably famous concoctions, whose appeal is the play between vinegar and ranch or blue cheese dressing. And why serve lamb carpaccio with sweet condiments? It was overwhelmed by the tahini vinaigrette and the fennel-pepper relish. The grass-fed steak was good, as were the fiddleheads and creamed spinach , but the potato pave tasted as if it had been made two days previously - no potato flavor left and the whole rather flacid. The mocha ice cream was quite good but was curiously served in a hot bowl! Overall the menu offerings were more suited to mid-winter rather than a hot summer evening when it was still 86 at 7:00 pm. Risotto and grits in June? Really? And the vegetarian options are very, very limited and not very enticing. This used to be a terrific restaurant. No longer. Perhaps a good choice for a fancy burger, but not much beyond that.
Dinner was fantastic, the service was great. Although they had a huge event outside, they definitely had the staff to handle it all!!!
Nice lunch. Had croque madam. Ham was super. Bread was great and the egg was cooked perfectly.
My wife had the steak salad, but was underwhelmed. Said steak was chewy.
Had the troon sour and it was delicious.
I would definitely go again.
Our waiter Chris was great! He recommends some delicious drinks! The Troon sour ale was so refreshing. We will definitely go back there again this summer!
Food was fantastic and service was impeccable.
We reserved a table outside. Then, a rain storm came and we needed to be moved inside.
The wait staff was very accommodating. However I’d suggest making reservations for inside if the forecast is dire to be sure of a table upstairs.
Lovely night out in a bucolic and serene setting. This is a real gem. Great menu (if slightly restricted), amazing cocktails, solid service and no piped music.
My only mild disappointment was my $50 steak was good but not a $50
steak. Otherwise it was sublime!
Fantastic food and Drinks, and our server, Chris, was amazing. Thanks!
One of the prettiest settings we have dined in. Food was outstanding and the craft beer selection was excellent.
My husband and I went to dinner here for our anniversary. The drinks and food options were very different, and we love that! Victor was our waiter and he was wonderful! We look forward to returning with friends when they visit NJ for the holidays!
Great food always, so creative. Please bring back the bread!
Place is beautiful and atmosphere is great. Food was not as good as it usually is this time around. Menu was also not as interesting as it has been in the best. Generally one of our favorites.
Everything about our lunch was exceptional and made for a lovely afternoon to catch up with friends.
Food and drinks are always exceptional. I’ve only dined at this place a few times but this past time was by far the worst. The server was super awkward and would just hover and stare at you when you asked him questions or told him how you would like your food cooked. When the bill arrived, he never asked if we were all paying separate so when we asked him to split the bill, he looked super irritated and grabbed the check and stormed off without saying anything. If that’s his true personality, maybe he should find a new profession.
Reservation honored on time - full house in a socially distance way. Friendly and informative and responsive waitstaff. And after not having been here for just over a year, for obvious reasons, there was absolutely no slippage from the kitchen or bar. Excellent, flavorful food made with fresh ingredients. Had and thoroughly enjoyed Berkshire pork, but special note must be given to the outstanding veggies. Added surprise that the restaurant quietly noted our special occasion on our dessert plate. An extra added plus. Looking forward to returning again.
The food and service are always outstanding. Also the cocktails, and their beer they brew on site
Our waiter, Victor, was excellent. And the food/drinks were all superb. Will definitely be recommending this spot in the future.
From The moment we sat down to the moment we left! Dan Kay, our server, was spectacular... he was Knowledgeable, friendly, attentive...
Made great recommendations...
Ambiance was a 10!
Grass fed burger was fantastic. Paired with Troon hoppy ale, even more so.
The beer & cocktails were excellent! Food was equally incredible. The outdoor area is beyond cute. We especially loved that they were welcoming and sweet to our six month old who dined with us.
We arrived at 11:15 for 11:30 reservations and was told rudely by a woman inside to wait outside until they open.
The food was disappointing and the waiter did not seem to even know what he was serving. My poached eggs were not poached or cooked at all but a watery runny mess that I sent back only to be given "poached" that were overcooked but most of the whites were not there.... No hollandaise sauce either. The cream for my coffee (which was lukewarm) curdled when I poured it in the cup and the waiter it's because it's not homogenized??? Really, I think he meant pasteurized but wasn't sure.
We were from out of town and thought this looked good on the website, but very disappointing to say the least.
Start outside for drinks before dinner since it was beautiful out. Dinner was fantastic. Waiter was kind and helpful. Very pleased all around
We sat outside under the pergola, breeze blowing and the beautiful gardens just beginning to bloom.
The food was so fresh and delicious. Had the pulled pork empanadas and the potato pancakes. We also had the steak salad and pulled pork tacos. Everything was awesome!
A large party nearby were enjoying a brunch which looked amazing and will definitely try that next time.
The whole property ambiance is very relaxing. There are multiple areas including a distillery with outdoor lounge areas and outstanding gardens.
