The menus are inspired by favourite dishes from Lazio area and sit alongside other Italian classics and new dishes. The knowledgeable Italian staff are on hand to recommend both food and wines.
The light open space features the gastronomia section of the deli and the café bar at the front, with the restaurant at the rear and an outside area for al fresco dining in warmer weather.
Fantastic Italian fare, as good as anything you'd get in Italy if not better, at very reasonable prices considering how tasty it was. It was good to the point where you stop worrying about what it costs because you just can only feel happiness. Highly recommended!
Briciole balances a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere with exceptional food, incredibly well priced. Welcoming and without pretension, service is nevertheless attentive and dishes are explained with pride. It has the feel of a family run establishment that just has the knack of getting it 'right'.
far to loud in your restaurant to have a conversation. thus, a wasted evening for my guest and myself, I am sorry to say.
This restaurant is a little Gem just a 10 min walk from Bakers Street.
It’s a proper little Italian restaurant serving authentic Italian food.
The ambiance is a bustling, busy restaurant that also has a deli attached that sells their specialty meats, pastas etc.
The food never disappoints and we have always came out feeling we have had something special.
It does get busy and I would recommend reserving a table. My only complaint is sometimes as it is so busy, the staff can be a little rushed and we felt our food, drinks, and cutlery were plonked down with a bang by the same waitress who wasn’t particularly friendly.
However, we have been three times now and never experienced this before.
Love this place and will be back.
Booked the table at Briciole based on other reviews and was not disappointed. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The restaurant had a good lively atmosphere with regular diners in attendance which always speaks volumes about a place.
The food was excellent, great value for money and of authentic Italian standard. the prices were something you'd normally expect outside of London.
If in town I would definitely go back.
Authentic Italian food in excellence
This is a gem: an independently run neighbourhood restaurant in a pleasant unpretentious but comfortable venue with a menu that’s undeniably authentic with familiar and unfamiliar dishes to taste. Food was great, service too. Extensive wine list with broad coverage of Italian regions - bottles, half bottles and by the glass. Good daily specials- one of our party had pasta with white truffles and it was amazing- not least as the fresh pasta was superb . Will be back!
As usual the food was superb! Love this place.
Great food, and very reasonably priced. I would definitely go back.
Our favourite restaurant in central London. Service & food quality is superb. Good wine list. Relaxing ambience. Really worth visiting Briciole!
Great food, service and atmosphere. I highly recommend.
Molto buono. Cibo genuinamente italiano. Prodotti davvero ricercati. Suggerisco di aggiungere dei vini al calice. Per il resto davvero molto soddisfacente. Uno dei pochi italiani davvero italiano.
Wonderful from start to finish
Excellent restaurant, fabulous food. Great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it.
Ceiling fans irritating downdraft and wines a tad overpriced but overall a very enjoyable experience.
What a great find! Went with a cousin (total group of 6) who knows his Italian, and he was VERY impressed. Every dish was excellent, as were the desserts. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Briciole.
Fantastic restaurant, lovely staff, delicious food
I found this place by opentable website and I decided correctly. The atmosphere was great! And the food very tasty. I recommend it 100%.
Authentic Italian cuisine-varied menu -delicious food.
Food was good, but nothing special. Very basic italian. Way too expensive.
A very enjoyable lunch with family with super service. thoroughly recommended!
Amazing food as usual. Would never get bored of this place!
This is an Italian restaurant with a difference. It feels like a small family run business, the staff look as if they want to be there. The food is fresh and interesting.
Bruschetta al pomodoro fresco is a classic example, ie, fresh tomatoes on light toast - excellent
The Prosciutto with cheese special we had was a lovely mixture of texture and flavours.
The special Carbonara superb and the ravioli the best of the lot.
A good bottle of wine, and three happy dinners left for the walk home in a happier place than we arrived.
Extremely pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything. The food was really excellent, the atmosphere pleasant and the service friendly. A great place for a special occasion, party, family get-together and very easy to get to for us.
The small alcove room was EXTREMELY loud
Great Friday night dinner with the family. Nothing to complain about, good food, great service, good value. Will come again.
Great Italian food in a lovely atmosphere, with very helpful staff.
Terrific neighborhood place. Will definitely come back
Great venue with reliably excellent food and top-notch service
The food was spectacular and the service was great. Some of the best Italian food I’ve had outside Italy. Highly recommended.
Briciole is always welcoming in a way only real Italians can manage!
Wonderful neighbourhood restaurant we’ve been going for nearly 10 years, always been a happy experience
It was the first time for four of our friends and they just loved it. The team there never fail to deliver. Great food and a lovely buzz about the place.
I always enjoy Briciole. The food is tasty and genuine, the service ready when you need it but unobtrusive when you don't, and some of the wine good value.
Excellent neighbourhood Italian restaurant. The ragu pasta was amazing. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.
To enjoy a 'complete meal, I'd suggest ordering a variety of different starters which you can share. DO NOT go for a platter of antipasti. Not only is it expensive but not worth the items on the platter. Follow on with either the entrees if you're a small to moderate eater, or a main course which is not too big a helping. The fish was very good, and so was the tagliatelle as well as the black ink ravioli. We didn't indulge in the desserts so no comment on that. Prices were a bit on the high side but worth it for an occasion.
Classic Trattoria with outstanding quality ingredients...
I thought that the place was even better than before, with excellent cooking and choices. Very friendly staff help make this a great, relaxing place to eat.
Nice Italian restaurant, friendly staff and a feel of homemade food, very delicious!
Fabulous as always we came from Kent to Regent’s Park open air theatre the food staff an ambiance are always fantastic thank you
Serata tra amici. Personale cordiale e cibo molto buono. Da italiano mi aspettavo però che il pane lo offrissero loro, ma mi rendo conto che a Londra non sia molto di moda. Conto giusto, anche se 8.5£ (circa 10€) per uno spritz è troppo
