Brewzzi - Boca Raton - Permanently Closed Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I are in our early 30s, Our waitress was not attentive I had to ask for a refill every time. The table next to us that were in their 70s were offered complimentary bread, the manager came over to check on them. We were not offered bread, the manager didn't even look our way. The waitress went to their table at least twice as many times as she did us. We were only 2 tables in her section and the ageism was horrible. The food was ok, my chicken came with a different side than what was mentioned on the menu and I was not informed of this prior to completing my order. The mixed vegetables were mostly just yellow squash and then it was served with fried rice that was over seasoned. It didn't fit the taste of the chicken and vegetables it was so garlicky I didn't eat it. Biggest thing I disliked was the ageism of the waitress.
My wife and I love going to Brewzzi's. This time, for my birthday, my father took me there, and again, the service and food were great! I even got a nice dessert for my birthday dessert. Their singing of "that song" needs to be worked out since they were not in tune, but then, I haven't found a restaurant whose staff is harmonious when singing that song!! I am already ready to go back!
We were a Party of 4 adults. I made the reservation through Open Table & requested a booth in a quiet area of the restaurant a guest at our table has a little trouble hearing. We were sat at a perfect, snug & quiet booth. The atmosphere was great - loved the interior. The manager came to our table a few times to ensure we were getting a great experience & all of our appetizers, entrees & desserts were amazing. We will go back soon to try more food! Many options!
If you are going to advertise yourself as a brewpub, and you're only going to offer about eight varieties of beer, it would be a great idea if you were not out of two of them. My third choice, an IPA, was without a doubt the worst IPA by a mile that I have ever tasted. One sip and I sent it back. The burger was good if overpriced, and my wife enjoyed her meatloaf. I see absolutely no reason to come back.
On Mothers day 2017 I was part of a party of 6 including 3 seniors having what we thought would be a celebration of Mother's Day at Brewzzi.
We were seated in one of the tables in the seating area next to the bar. We ordered drinks and after 15 long minutes our drinks finally arrived. I asked the server for a glass for my beer and she brought one over. The glass smelled of cleaning solution. I mentioned the odor to the server and she said "you are next to the bar--we use cleaning solution to clean the glasses". There was a strong odor of clorox or some other solution.
We decided to stay at the table. After that we waited an additional 15 minutes and the server did not return to take our food order.
Finally about 30 minutes after we originally sat down the manager on duty came to our table and announced loudly: we will not be serving your party today-please leave the restaurant".
I asked why and he repeated himself. I asked him again and he stated I was rude to the server.
I asked him what was so offensive and he said leave now.
The people at our table were shocked and we ended up leaving and trying to find another place to eat at 6pm on Mother's day.
I mentioned this to a few of my friends who had similar situations happen at this restaurant.
STAY CLEAR OF THIS RESTAURANT.
I used to love Brewzzi's but I was disappointed with my meal this time. My guest and I sent back the coleslaw which tasted spoiled and I didn't eat my Gorgonzola mashed cauliflower which is usually much more flavorful. The prices seemed higher and I wasn't allowed to use my VIP discount with my gift certificate which was allowed in the past. I hope Brewzzi's gets better again soon.
After ordering my dinner was so dry I had to send it back. Except I couldn't find waiter to do so. I ordered something different and waited and waited and it did not come out. Nor did my server check on it. Finally when my friends all finished I cancelled my dish. Again I had to find the manager because my server was no where to be found. It is a shame since this used to be my favorite restaurant.
