I always enjoy this restaurant. Great place to eat, drink, meet people, and relax. One of my favorites.
Fabulous ! Home of the delicious bananas Foster . Thank you for a lovely evening
Everything was amazing! The food, the service and the ambiance. We enjoyed our time there.
My daughter and I had a fabulous time. We started with their signature baked apple...had dessert first! I had the recommended scallops quiche which was delicious. My daughter had a chickpea and avocado dish which she loved. We both loved the decor and our server was great. After lunch we finished at the bar to continue talking and had their strawberry champagne cocktail. Bartenders were very friendly. My daughter enjoyed the food and experience so much she is bringing her boyfriend back, I had to get on a plane.
Brennan's is an iconic restaurant in NOLA!
We loved the entire experience !!
Breakfast at Brennan's beats Breakfast at Tiffany. We visit New Orleans French Quarter once a year and always make a reservation at Brennan's the day after we arrive. The Eggs Cardinal is to die for add on some fried oysters. Mimosas are a must. Ask to sit viewing the court yard. The restaurant is beautiful so be sure to take notice of the little details. Wait staff is nice and accommodating.
The staff was amazing. It was our anniversary and every single person who waited on us wished us happy anniversary. It made us feel so special. The food was excellent and Bananas Foster was delicious. Well worth every penny!
Brennens was absolutely amazing! The service, drinks, and food were all to die for. Members of my group had crab, steak and lamb and everything was up to par. Would go again and recommend to a friend. It is releatively pricey though, so just prepare for a $100+ meal.
An amazing dining experience with fabulous service. Banana’s Foster made table side is a must!
It was a wonderful experience from the moment we walked in the door to the time we left. This place is top notch food and service. Go to breakfast at Brennan’s!
Brunch in the courtyard is a must if you travel to NOLA
Great remodel of a beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately the food does not come close to measuring up to the historical standards of the institution.
The old veteran waitstaff has been replaced with a condescending team that assumes everyone is a tourist.
I am in New Orleans a couple of times a year, I tried it when it first reopened and was disappointed. Thought I would give it a second chance a couple of years later. I was disappointed and embarrassed for my guest
Enjoyed eating in the courtyard for breakfast. Banana coffee cake was a delicious starter to share. Cajun Bloody Mary's were tasty but a bit small. The eggs Houssarde were delicious. Service team did a fabulous job taking care of us. We'll be back next time we are in New Orleans
With out this was the finest restaurant that we have ever had visited for dinner. This also includes all of our finest New York restaurants.
My friends and I had a lovely ladies’ lunch. The staff was very attentive and we all enjoyed our food.
Brennan’s was everything I was hoping for and more! It was our anniversary and we were given rose’ to celebrate! The food was amazing! We will definitely go back again!
While it was the most expensive meal we had in New Orleans; it's a must do. Our server was Randy but they really make it a team effort and the entire staff we interacted with was awesome.
The Bananas Foster were invented here and are as great as ever.
Mother’s Day brunch was wonderful and service excellent!! Short ribs best I’ve ever eaten and the lobster appetizer was delicious!! Will definitely be back!
We were dining on mother’s day, the restaurant was backed up a little over an hour. We did anticipate this, being a holiday. That being said- the meal was flawless. The dining style is very leisurely, you’re not rushed (possibly why a back up occurs lol) and it is nice to linger over a fine meal. The special menu was vast and was of great value! Our waiter was a bit off maybe due to the morning onslaught but the supporting staff was a pleasure.
The food was delicious and the restaurant was fun to walk through. It's a beautiful establishment.
Mother’s Day reservations made more than a month in advance, and got a beautiful table in their Rex room. Service awesome. Unfortunately, they didn’t put anything on website or reservations site to indicate there would be nothing but their brunch available. Child with special eating needs could not be accommodated. Had we known no regular menu was available we would not have chosen Brennan’s. $300 for 2 drinks and mediocre breakfast food for three may be old school New Orleans and we definitely got schooled! Order was incomplete. Won’t be back but really was a beautiful building and decor was so sweet.
When we booked the reservation, we did so for 8:00 a.m. since we had a plane to catch . But it was Mother’s Day and they didn’t open until 9:00! We would have preferred to linger over the excellent food and jazz trio but could not. Nevertheless, the wait staff understood our dilemma and expedited the courses so that we got out on time. Kudos for them making what could have been a highly stressful meal an enjoyable, delicious and memorable one.
Excellent restaurant in the French quarter. Probably one of the top 3 brunch spots in the city. Brunch here will be on the noisier side but it’s part of the ambiance. A must stop on your tour of the city regardless of whether you live here or are just visiting.
Soooo awesome. Everything perfect as always! Had the best waiter, David, we’ve ever had there. Best blackened redfish I’ve ever had in my life. Totally exquisite. Husband had the best trout almondine ever also and we’ve had a lot of these dishes. My appetizer of Italian cheese and asparagus was awesome and I’ll order it again. Just got exquisite for dining. A must experience!!!! Always our favorite fine dining restaurant in New Orleans. Has a romantic, enjoyable, atmosphere. So fine.....
Food was just average. Service and ambiance were very good!
Absolutely mediocre ...
We were celebrating an anniversary and the Brennan's experience was wonderful.
Assistant server was outstanding. Waiter was ok. My fish dish was good. My wife’s shrimp salad was disappointing. The shrimp were small.
Amazing, perfect from start to finish! We started with Champagne at the bar before moving to a dining room for our meal. The ambience is jovial, classy and refined without feeling stuffy or uncomfortably posh. Service was impeccable, bananas foster is a must and the cotton candy birthday cake was an impressive touch. Not to be missed in New Orleans!
Wonderful fine dining experience. Went for our anniversary and everyone was welcoming and gracious. Provided us with a wonderful memory. Plus, banana"s foster which was awesome.
Loved the eggs benedict ! Best ambience in New Orleans for brunch
A very special restaurant for brunch. The hostess and her staff escorted us promptly to our table. Our server, Tyler, and his team provided polished service from start to finish. The Bloody Mary is spicy, and was the perfect start. We chose to share the Roasted Oysters, and they are the most flavorful oyster preparation. The Brendans Special Eggs Benedict Hussarde was delicious, perfectly poached eggs and just the right amount of sauce. It is served on the best English Muffin we've ever had, and toasted just right. We ordered a side of Creamed Spinach which was a great accompaniment to our Brunch. Sadly, we were too full to go for the Banana's Foster which is served table side. We did enjoy watching it prepared at other tables. Just a lovely brunch.
Very nice and of course the bananas foster service was amazing
Food was good. Glad we went for the classic ambiance. Service was slow and not very personal. $100 lunch for 2.
Came in for my birthday and definitely felt the love. The food exceeded my expectations and well thought out wine pairings as well.
Food and drinks were excellent. Service in the courtyard was inexcusably slow and unattentive.
Everything was delicious and the staff was very attentive!
