It was a very enjoyable Thanksgiving feast.
Thanksgiving dinner. We felt like we were in the Nantucket High School cafeteria. Way too many people, very rushed. We were in and out in one hour and fourteen minutes.
The servers tried their best but it was just way too crowded and the food was definitely not worth the money.
We were here on Thanksgiving Day and assured that we could eat at the restaurant as we did not want a Thanksgiving buffet. When we arrived, after several assurances that we can order from the regular restaurant menu, we were told that there are no options but the buffet.
The meal was typical of mass produced catered food that was not interesting or what we would have wanted to eat. The seating was in a dining hall.
We were a group of 8 and all agreed getting Pizza would have been just as satisfying.
We had a wonderful dining experience at Breeze for our Thanksgiving dinner!
Wonderful Thanksgiving buffet dinner, shrimp, oyster, soup, salad, turkey , ham , crab cakes, salmon, dessert. Great service we definitely would do it again
Brunch was outstanding!
The Breeze is always absolutely delicious. The staff is helpful, cheerful and efficient. The Breeze is beautiful, clean, and bright! I recommend for all occasions!
First time at the Breeze for dinner . First impression - a pretty drab dinning room with stark lighting that may look alright mid-summer but not warming this time of year. The service was very good, accommodating our request for a quieter table away from a large party. The Menu was less than inspiring and the food was ok but not really very interesting - heavy sauces on crab cakes and swordfish drowned the basically good sea-food. Service was prompt and sound.
The wine list seems overly priced even by ACK standard - $100 for a New Zealand Savignon Blanc that retails for less than $25 is just off putting - more wines in the $60-80 range would be appropriate.
Food was excellent. Frederick was attentive and professional Manager went around to every table to ensure satisfaction. My sister and I will definitely return!
Went for lunch. At the beginning of lunch we were the only ones there. Not sure if they didn't know who was assigned to us but we weren't approached for at least 10 minutes. Then an employee came through very loudly showing a couple the venue to make a potential wedding sale - then some musicians came in to set up for a wedding that they were hosting that day - then wait staff and managers, etc. started moving chairs and tables while we were trying to enjoy our lunch. It was extremely unprofessional, and, our server was splitting her time between us and something else and we were often left unattended for quite some time. The right thing to do would have been to seat us in another area. It was enjoyable experience at all.
We had a good dinner and enjoyed a quiet atmosphere at
The Breeze. Food was good, and service was very good.
Though not special, the Breeze seems like a very reliable
place for everyday dining
Great spot at the Nantucket Hotel. Food great, service excellent, spacing between courses just right. You'll enjoy.
The staff at the Breeze is simply outstanding. We had a family gathering there one night and the staff took meticulous precautions to not make noise of any kind during the toasts and roasts. They were attentive to our every need, usually before we even knew we needed anything. They simply seemed delighted that we were there. And the food was very good to boot!
So we went there for dinner on our last night in town as well and it was an equally delightful experience. I don’t write glowing reviews often, but the tram at Breeze and the Nantucket Hotel deserve to be glowed upon.
Not a huge menu selection but food was very good. Bus people over eager to clear plates. Nice atmosphere.
Amazing birthday dinner for my wife Jackie with our friends Phil and Suzi from The Barnicle Inn
Very limited menu due to end of season.
Service was good and food was excellent.
Very nice setting. We sat out on the deck on a balmy October evening. Good menu variety and our server was excellent.
Very delightful. Relaxed, nice atmosphere. One of our favorite restaurants
If you want a good lunch with friends in a quiet atmosphere, this is the place.
Pleasant blue and white room with interesting tall-backed chairs. Not many patrons when we were there. My kale and romaine salad and diver scallops were excellent. Partner’s expensive lobster roll was a disappointment. His review — “ruined a good lobster and spoiled a good sandwich,”. And served with French fries which seemed uninspired for an expensive restaurant.
Family attending for a memorial service
We had a lovely night out at Breeze. Excellent entrees, delicious cocktails, and scrumptious dessert.
The food and service were great.
Lovely ambiance on outside porch. Food was only average and expensive. However the dessert - apple tarts- was exceptional.
As is the case, now, waitstaff are overworked.
Beautiful location with a lovely dining room. Food was good but expensive even for Nantucket. Our waiter was non-communitive.
The food was outstanding. My swordfish was perfect and my wife's tenderloin wonderful. Great service from a very friendly staff. Drinks were great also.
My wife and I made a reservation here for a lunch before we had to get on the ferry. We had our 3 bags with us and the guys out in front of the hotel offered to keep our bags and even to drive us to the ferry once we were done eating. We were expecting to have to lug our bags all the way across town, so this was extremely helpful. Our lunch was wonderful, but the service we received from hotel employees, at a hotel we weren’t even staying at, was really something special. Thank you for making our last meal in Nantucket very memorable.
Great ambience for a peaceful dining experience on Nantucket
Very enjoyable. Always nice being at breezes
We had a lovely evening at The Breeze. Our waiter, Frederick was very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything he recommended we chose and enjoyed. It is light and airy and if you are concerned about Covid, there is plenty of space away from other diners and the doors and windows were open to let the air in.
I loved the BLT salad and the swordfish.
They had very large and comfortable dining chairs too, so don't rush.
Birthday Staff was so attentive and highly trained. They took care of our considerations (allergies) while making our birthday celebration very memorable!
Went for the weekly clam bake. Very expensive for what you got. And if you don’t like lobster your out of luck
Wonderful recommendation! Ambiance, service, food, drinks were superb! I will returning!
Breeze is a terrific restaurant with no pretenses other than being comfortable. The food is outstanding and the service detailed, warm, but not intrusive. Definitely one of the better all around dining experiences for those looking for “excellent normal.”
The service was great. Food was disappointing - and I got sick after eating the lobster tacos.
They told me they did not receive my open table reservation Until we were at the restaurant... so we were not given the outdoor seating requested, and they did us a favor and squeezed us into the dining room . It was not an ideal location .. right by the busy doorway . Service was good , and the servers were hustling .
