Brazz Carvery & Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
The total experience while dining here was absolutely amazing! The food selection for the dinner rodizio was so much food that my husband and I couldn’t finish it all. The waitress and the men who serve the food were so kind and actually engaged in conversation with us. I can’t wait to come back!
Great Meat Dinner. The salad/food bar may not be as big as its competitor, but the meat is plentiful and very tasty. Several cuts of beef were excellent. Alligator is on the menu as well. They added bacon wrapped scallops which was not on the regular menu list. Filet was cooked perfectly. Only disappointment for me was overcooked lamb. Overall, excellent selection and taste.
This was our first time to Brazz's and it was awesome. Think Chima but better. Perry the Chef personally served multiple types of meat and explained how he prepared them. The entire staff including Katherine and Rhianna were friendly, efficient and helpful. Salad bar was great and even included large shrimp. Dessert was great and only $5. Excellent experience, staff and food.
Went for restaurant week.
Tldr: Go to Chima instead where everything is better.
The service was lacking the minute we stepped inside. At least three employees looked at us at the empty hostess stand but no one acknowledged us nor did anyone make an attempt to walk toward us or signal the hostess to do so. Eventually, someone noticed us and SLOWLY made her way over. We were then checked in for our reservation and were made to wait a full 10 minutes.
The polenta and cheese bread appetizers were not delicious. They were cold and tasted microwaved.
The salad bar was ok, and there were no standout items. The salad bar offered cold and hot foods, but it was not replenished regularly. We were surprised to see salmon on the hot bar ... since we were at a restaurant that serves meat at your table side.
The meat was all just ok. Nothing spectacular, but not horrible either. You don't have the option to select the doneness of meat unless you put in a request - even then they don't ask you, you have to be explicit in your request. Even then, the meat you request will likely end up at another table ... multiple times.
The servers came by frequently until they weren't coming around frequently. They also circulated the same type of meat over and over in our section while we could see they were circulating other types of meat in other sections (so frustrating).
Additionally, they provide very generous portions of meat, which when eating multiple meats isn't something I wanted. Typically they'd already have the meat touching your plate before you could decline. Also, the tokens indicating yes/no for meat were completely ignored as well.
The meat servers were constantly moving, but our table server was MIA the entire last 2/3 of our meal. I asked for water once and it took 8 minutes to get a refill.
The experience, quality of meat and salad bar at Chima is 100x better. Save up and go there instead.
We went to Brazz for restaurant week. My husband liked the meat. The salad bar was good sized but not a wide variety. no fruits or cheese. There was soup and some side dishes. I think it wasn't great for me because it was basically meat and potatoes and creamy salads. I would try it again with a full menu because the service was very good. Several of the meats were good. Drinks were reasonably priced.
