Brazz Carvery & Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Great place and great value when we went during restaurant week. Service gets a 2 because our server was odd, unresponsive, and forgetful. Not sure if she was extremely tired or under the influence of something. Carvers were excellent, though. I would go back and avoid this server.
This restaurant was under staffed. A table right beside us was left dirty throughout our entire dinner. No bartender to serve drinks off the set menu although they have a full bar. Very surprised it was apart of Queen’s Feast. Overall this is an over priced Chima knock off. Over priced being the key word.
My wife and I got the Queen's Feast for Charlotte Restaurant Week. We'd never been here before. We arrived 10-15 minutes early and were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Our water glasses were never empty. The meats were brought out continuously. We had to stop taking any more after a while because we couldn't possibly eat any more. The Malbec that was included with the Queen's Feast was very good.
We'll be back again.
OMG..we went for Restaurant Week, 3 friends who have not gotten together in a year. The food was fantastic, the hostess courteous, the waitress knowledgeable, nice, and engaging. The meat servers were great, there was one in particular that was fun, he had my side hurting. The salad/hot bar was better than ample. I actually wanted to go back next week! Definately coming back again whether or not it’s restaurant week. I definately recommend this. More casual feeling than the other similar restaurant, which works for me.
You know, the service was awesome! The waitress was great ! However we eat out a lot and have been to many Brazilian steakhouses and this one was just disappointing . It was restaurant week so i did feel i got the bang for my buck. However i don’t think i would come back and pay regular price . I was not impressed at all.
We visited Brazz for Restaurant week and had an okay experience. The salad bar ran out of leafy green salad. There was not any salmon on the hot bar like stated. I had to ask my server for the salmon. I felt that the meat was not in rotation often enough. At times we were left waiting for the meat to come around. This allowed for our food to settle so we weren't hungry enough to try all that we wanted. The pork ribs never made it to our table at all. I saw them come around maybe twice during the duration of our meal. I don't feel like we really got our money's worth for what we ate. I am not sure I would go back.
Given it was restaurant week, it was staffed appropriately with staff. We arrived early for our reservation, but they immediately sat us and promptly greeted. Not as many options as the local competitor, but the overall experience in comparison was significantly better (including the price)! Great date night out!
I truly enjoyed the speed and satisfaction of this meal. At first, I was given a Medium steak due to the fast pace of restaurant week. I asked if I could get my filet cooked rare and within 2 minutes I had four filets on my plate. That's awesome. The only disappointing thing was that it was a "3-course meal" with an appetizer, bar, and meat. I recall last time it was a 3-course meal with the side-bar, meat, and a chocolate cake.
It was a fun experience, but the meats weren't that good. They didn't seem to be seasoned enough. The sirloin had some seasoning, but the other meats weren't seasoned as well. Maybe because we went during a slow time, but some of the meats were dry. The service was great... very nice and friendly.
We waited for about 15 minutes to be greeted and seated, with only one other couple ahead of us. They stated that they had been waiting on someone to come over for about 10 minutes. They were seated and left within the first 5 minutes. We probably should have followed. This place isn't worth $50 a head. The loud table beside us and the subpar food made it not even worth $10. Our service was awesome though, but that's where the awesomeness stops. Save your money and reserve a table at the other Brazilian restaurant, you'll thank me.
I always love going to Brazz. I've been here and to Chima and I honestly prefer Brazz. It has a better atmosphere and I do not feel like I am being rushed with the servings like I did at Chima. Great drink selection and all of the food is delicious. Definitely plan on leaving with a food teenager!
