Filet mignon medallion
Got seated right away. Server did not understand beer at all (types, brands, local). Food came out fast. Filet a little over cooked. Shrimp good, scallops good. Veggies and potatoes good. Cheese bread-eh. Chocolate Mousse the best part of the meal. All 4 of us left thinking it was just okay.
Food was moderate, not worth the 45$
For our 3 year anniversary my girlfriend and I wanted to try something new and different from what we were used to, and normally have pleasant experiences at restaurants we try during restaurant week. This restaurant should not even have been participating in restaurant week. For $45 a person you get 3 choices of meats, three sides, and a dessert. This sounds like a great deal. The restaurant did have a nice ambiance but the ventilation system was so loud we didn’t even notice they were playing music in the background. Our server also never introduced herself, just walked up to the table and said “you know what you want”. When we got our food the meats were super dry, overcooked, under seasoned and tasted like they’d been cooked hours in advance and were sitting out all day. The sides we okay but they were very small portions, cold, and under seasoned as well. I couldn’t even cut my filet with a knife, it was that tough. The server barely spoke and was very short with us the whole time. Just dropped off the check, where I had to pay on a app, and never came back. I don’t mind spending money on a nice dinner but for $45 a person, this was not worth the price. I basically wasted $130 (before tip). I would not recommend wasting your money at this place as prices are normally even more expensive and the food does not equate to the prices on the menu.
Went out for our anniversary and it just so happened to be restaurant week also. They only had the restaurant week menu available which was ok. The filet was tough and not what I expected from filet. My husband got Lamb which was ordered medium rare but was basically raw and had a tendon right through it so he couldn’t chew it. For the money I expected a bit more. Wouldn’t go back
Everyone was great food had a great flavor I would go back again
The heat system was broken, it was cold inside. Our food was average. Our steak was a little tough but food came out quickly. The desserts were fantastic. Our server was new and unable to answer most questions we ask.
Not worth the money, 7 people +$400 for a metal tray with three tiny portions not one was extraordinary out even flavourful? The dining room was extremely cold, maybe 60 degrees? The waitress didn't know the menu, didn't offer drinks, brought water only we had to ask for drinks three times. Food and experience was equivalent to a bad dinner at Bob Evans
Restaurant was very cold very uncomfortable. Food arrived very quick but was cold . The dessert was still frozen . Very over priced not what
I expected at all .
Server was nice but food was salty! Overall I won’t be returning
Way over priced. Service was not great and food was mediocre.
A great dinner! Food and service are wonderful. Highly recommend!
Food was excellent - a little salty. The service was excellent
Everything was excellent. We chose one of the meal options to share with 4 sides. Our server took great care of us and was able to get an answer for any question we had regarding our food choices.
Food was extremely salty and unedible! Had to return the entire combo #1. It was replaced with bland meats that we had to take home to recook. While waiting for the replacement platter they brought out a small saucer of potatoes...and charged us an additional $6.00😡🤬
The value in the Fall Special was out of this world !! Hopefully after New Years they will think of doing the same for Winter for a few weeks ... at least until Valentine's. Great variety and only one out of three could finish all the food on their plate !! Perhaps under 'meat' selection they could add some plant proteins for those who prefer their meat 'meatless'. The wine choices were excellent ... and delicious !! The ambience was just right with all the guests nicely socially distant from one another. The service was 'under-stated' but could not have been more on point. There was no 'hard-sell' here ... just classic guest-centred service. And as if that wasnt enough, the server called us before we had a chance to pull away from the curb to tell us that a bag had been left the table ... a bag that contained credit cards, cash and a passport that would have been sorely missed later that night when preparing to return to Canada. Muito obrigado! 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back one day! Tudo de bom!
The other evening we went to Brazz to enjoy a birthday dinner! We ordered the prefixed menu which was okay ! But when we got our top sirloin it was inedible. It taste like spoiled meat. We just weren’t overall pleased and the birthday boy pieces of meat he did eat came up at 1 am. So I don’t recommend this place was super disappointed.
Excellent meal!the food was delicious and plentiful.
Instead of the usual Brazilian SteakHouse feeding frenzy, This Brazilian was different but excellent. The Garlic Steak was tender and superb tasting. Outstandingly spiced, the Steak had a hint of Garlic plus the chef's touch. /very good! The Brazilian blackbeans and Rice were a excellent compliment. the Ambiance was first rate, the baby crying was the only distraction. Why do people bring babies to restaurants??? Excellent service with attentive waitress. The prices are very reasonable. My wife and I would come back next time we are in town.
Interesting visit. Place was dead. Only one other table was taken. A couple more groups came in while we were there. Food was absolutely excellent. As good as you would get at any Brazilian steakhouse. Instead of the constant barrage of waiters bringing food, they bring a platter to your table that sits on a heater to keep it hot. You pull what you want off of the tray along with sides they bring for the table to share. Definitely not a traditional Brazilian steakhouse experience, but the food is just as good. Full bar as well.
Food was delicious. Came out sizzling on cast iron plate then set up on Food warmer. Black beans and rice was very very good. Nice atmosphere, excellent service.
I took my boyfriend for his 21st birthday. The service was incredible the waiter was really nice and made sure everything was perfect. The food was incredible it was the best steak/food we have ever had and I definitely recommend the rice as a side it was the best rice we have tasted. The experience was also amazing and made his birthday special. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back.
Very short staffed. Understand with everything going on. It was a Saturday night and maybe 3 tables were occupied. The food was good but really overpriced. Steak a little unseasoned. Great area but sadly this pandemic still has an impact on the amount of people in Uptown
Loved the fish, garlic steak and coxinhas! Just don’t order the rice and beans, they didn't taste like rice and beans from Brazil.
Brazz was AWESOME!!!! Loved it from start to finish….not one complaint !!
Fine dining at its best! Went there for a date night and definitely enjoyed ourselves! The bar tender was very talented as well!
It was alright, not the best in terms of food and quality but not terrible. Don’t think we will be back as we have high standards for Brazilian steakhouses and this place doesn’t live up to the quality food. Don’t get their caipirinha, so bad and chemical tasting.
Great food and service at a reasonable price. Very pretty area too.
Food was good. Glad we went. Probably won't ever go again.
Service was slow. They need more help. We where never asked for drink orders
I booked this reservation weeks in advance as I live 3.5 hours away and planned a girls night out around this reservation for restaurant week. I wish I could take it back and pick a different restaurant. I got the garlic steak, sirloin and shrimp. Both of the steak were very dry and not flavorful. The shrimp was so fishy tasting I didn’t eat it, and I usually love all shrimp! The bruschetta was nothing but tomato’s with a LOT of olive oil and basil on over toasted hard bread. The plantains and potatoes weren’t bad but nothing special at all. My friend got the lamb, pork, and sirloin… same thing, all dry and nothing special. For dessert we ordered the carrot cake and white cake with chocolate icing. What we got was an over dry yellow cake with chocolate icing and a white cake with blueberries and a white frosting. We also ordered Long Island Iced Teas which tasted like nothing but straight mixer which shouldn’t even be in a LIT. Overall I was very disappointed and we actually went to a place after spending $100 at a razz so I could eat some good food.
Nice restaurant but no parking, we were very fortunate and found a spot. Food was delicious but would have liked the full salad bar, it wasn't open for restaurant week..
I was ecpecting it to be like Chimas. Food was excellent but I would have like it to have more food.
Food was excellent. Service a little slow. Wish they had gone back to pre-Covid Brazilian steakhouse tradition.
Good food just needs better presentation. Service was good, appetizers were very small and just ok. Dessert was delicious.
It was far from exceptional. The Sirloin was not the best, way over done. Desserts were all dry and no one liked the carrot cake.
They claim they validate parking and they didn’t. They don’t inform the patrons while eating when the last call for drinks are. Food is good, service subpar.
Very short staffed. Lamb and steak was over cooked.
They were very short staffed, and took a while to be able to pay. The servers were working really hard and nothing was forgotten, just possibly needed one more body in the restaurant.
I was excited to try a new steakhouse and it could have been the queens feast menu or the post covid staffing shortage but I wasn’t impressed considering Charlotte’s booming food scene.
Every year looking forward to visiting this restaurant during Queen's Feast.
