Instead of the usual Brazilian SteakHouse feeding frenzy, This Brazilian was different but excellent. The Garlic Steak was tender and superb tasting. Outstandingly spiced, the Steak had a hint of Garlic plus the chef's touch. /very good! The Brazilian blackbeans and Rice were a excellent compliment. the Ambiance was first rate, the baby crying was the only distraction. Why do people bring babies to restaurants??? Excellent service with attentive waitress. The prices are very reasonable. My wife and I would come back next time we are in town.
Interesting visit. Place was dead. Only one other table was taken. A couple more groups came in while we were there. Food was absolutely excellent. As good as you would get at any Brazilian steakhouse. Instead of the constant barrage of waiters bringing food, they bring a platter to your table that sits on a heater to keep it hot. You pull what you want off of the tray along with sides they bring for the table to share. Definitely not a traditional Brazilian steakhouse experience, but the food is just as good. Full bar as well.
Food was delicious. Came out sizzling on cast iron plate then set up on Food warmer. Black beans and rice was very very good. Nice atmosphere, excellent service.
I took my boyfriend for his 21st birthday. The service was incredible the waiter was really nice and made sure everything was perfect. The food was incredible it was the best steak/food we have ever had and I definitely recommend the rice as a side it was the best rice we have tasted. The experience was also amazing and made his birthday special. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back.
Very short staffed. Understand with everything going on. It was a Saturday night and maybe 3 tables were occupied. The food was good but really overpriced. Steak a little unseasoned. Great area but sadly this pandemic still has an impact on the amount of people in Uptown
Loved the fish, garlic steak and coxinhas! Just don’t order the rice and beans, they didn't taste like rice and beans from Brazil.
Brazz was AWESOME!!!! Loved it from start to finish….not one complaint !!
Fine dining at its best! Went there for a date night and definitely enjoyed ourselves! The bar tender was very talented as well!
It was alright, not the best in terms of food and quality but not terrible. Don’t think we will be back as we have high standards for Brazilian steakhouses and this place doesn’t live up to the quality food. Don’t get their caipirinha, so bad and chemical tasting.
Great food and service at a reasonable price. Very pretty area too.
Food was good. Glad we went. Probably won't ever go again.
Service was slow. They need more help. We where never asked for drink orders
I booked this reservation weeks in advance as I live 3.5 hours away and planned a girls night out around this reservation for restaurant week. I wish I could take it back and pick a different restaurant. I got the garlic steak, sirloin and shrimp. Both of the steak were very dry and not flavorful. The shrimp was so fishy tasting I didn’t eat it, and I usually love all shrimp! The bruschetta was nothing but tomato’s with a LOT of olive oil and basil on over toasted hard bread. The plantains and potatoes weren’t bad but nothing special at all. My friend got the lamb, pork, and sirloin… same thing, all dry and nothing special. For dessert we ordered the carrot cake and white cake with chocolate icing. What we got was an over dry yellow cake with chocolate icing and a white cake with blueberries and a white frosting. We also ordered Long Island Iced Teas which tasted like nothing but straight mixer which shouldn’t even be in a LIT. Overall I was very disappointed and we actually went to a place after spending $100 at a razz so I could eat some good food.
Nice restaurant but no parking, we were very fortunate and found a spot. Food was delicious but would have liked the full salad bar, it wasn't open for restaurant week..
I was ecpecting it to be like Chimas. Food was excellent but I would have like it to have more food.
Food was excellent. Service a little slow. Wish they had gone back to pre-Covid Brazilian steakhouse tradition.
Good food just needs better presentation. Service was good, appetizers were very small and just ok. Dessert was delicious.
It was far from exceptional. The Sirloin was not the best, way over done. Desserts were all dry and no one liked the carrot cake.
They claim they validate parking and they didn’t. They don’t inform the patrons while eating when the last call for drinks are. Food is good, service subpar.
Very short staffed. Lamb and steak was over cooked.
They were very short staffed, and took a while to be able to pay. The servers were working really hard and nothing was forgotten, just possibly needed one more body in the restaurant.
I was excited to try a new steakhouse and it could have been the queens feast menu or the post covid staffing shortage but I wasn’t impressed considering Charlotte’s booming food scene.
Every year looking forward to visiting this restaurant during Queen's Feast.
The place was absolutely awful. My wife and I got steak and bacon wrapped scallops. Apparently this place has never cooked meat before because both of our steaks were raw and the bacon on the scallops was raw. The manager couldn’t have seemed to care less so my wife and I left mid meal. The meal was also served on some crappy metal cafeteria tray with a piece of paper that was disintegrating as you tried to cut the raw meat. This was an absolute embarrassment of a restaurant.
My son and I went for restaurant week. The appetizer was served in the same plate as the main course. The steaks were cooked previously so they didn't taste great. They didn't ask us how we wanted our steaks. The dessert was cold and just not good enough. I was expecting a different experience overall.
The air-conditioning was not working. It was 78 inside the restaurant. The walls were filthy, there were only a couple of servers so it took a while to have our orders taken. The food was delicious except for the lamb which was very tough and inedible.
Food was not worth $35. If it was $25 that would be reasonable. It took forever for wait staff to address is and other customers.
Not worth it in my opinion. They were very short staffed and the waiter kept forgetting things. The food was ok but I've had better, the lamb was a little chewy but the mixed vegetables was to die for, best thing I had. The drinks were also pretty good. decent food with a forgetful waiter is not enough for me to go back to that particular location. Glad I went out, it was an experience, just not worth it again in my opinion.
The food was great service from waiter slow but I understand being under staffed food came out fast
This is a MUST when visiting Charlotte! The food was melt-in-your-mouth tender and the very best filet we've ever had. The staff was very pleasant and attentive and the owners came out and talked with us for a bit...so very sweet. This is a fantastic family owned restaurant with a lovely ambiance and one of the best Brazilian Steakhouses we've ever visited.
The restaurant was nice and the service was great. But the food for restaurant week was not good. The appetizer came on the plate with our main course. The main course, I had the steak, the sausage and the chicken wrapped in bacon, the food was served on a metal tray with a piece of paper covering the bottom. The meat was greasy and over cooked. The sides had no flavor or were not seasoned well. The desert, I had the chocolate cake, was dry only took one bite. Will not be going back.
Not sure if it was because of Queens Feast or Covid -19 but was certainly not what I was expecting.
I have eaten there many times before and unfortunately last night dinner was not a good value for what we got. Meats were over cooked had to send pork back. Our server was Great!
I hope in the future you all will be what I liked before.
We chose Brazz for Restaurant Week. The dining room is small but nice. The service was ok. The three courses were brought all at once on a metal bar pan. All of the steak was over cooked. The filet was tougher than you would expect. Veggies and plantains were greasy. Chocolate cake was good. Carrot cake was ok but didn’t seem to be carrot cake. We use Restaurant Week to sample restaurants that we will want to go back to. Unfortunately Brazz will not make the list for a return visit.
Retirement of former co-worker
Very nice staff but seemed overworked. 30-40 min at a time would go by before we saw our waitress again. She was super sweet but had lots of tables to tend to. Food was tasteless for the most part. I do not recommend this place.
We've been to this establishment numerous times and it has always been good. This time, not so much. It's restaurant week and what they have done takes everything away from the reason everyone dines there. No beverage, limit to 3 meats. No one asked how we wanted our meats cooked and they were all well. No sauce offered and the waiter had no personality at all. We wished we would have just paid extra and went to Chima.
Server never came back to the table. The meats were very I mean very bland. No flavor at all.
It was very elegant and nice there. My family and I enjoy the food and service.
It wasn’t your typical Brazilian Steakhouse vibes. They are low staffed due to the pandemic. Our waiter was great but felt bad for him because he had to be the waiter, buss boy, hostess, handle desert etc.
Came here for queens fest 2021. The food was pretty good but nothing I would go back again for. I chose the chicken croquettes as my starter, top sirloin, shrimp and bacon wrapped chicken with grilled vegetables and roasted potatoes for my main, and chocolate cake for dessert. I ate the cake at home and it was super dry.
