About
Excellent food and drinks. Even better was the service. We will be back!
I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times… This time the menu was different… And the food tasted different… Thought maybe it was under new management or a new chef… Don’t think I’ll be going back
Staff was exceptional and friendly. I had the Brazill vegetarian dish which was amazing. This place is on my list to go back.
The food, service, and ambiance were excellent. It was the perfect place for a special night out. Food was outstanding and so delicious.
We went to celebrate Valentine’s Day and everything was great!
We waited about 5 min to be seated but once we were sat everything was very fast.
The only weird thing was when I asked one of the waiters if he spoke Portuguese and he sounded mad when he said “No!”
My husband is American but he loves seeing me talking in Portuguese, that’s why I always ask that.
But ok, the other two waiters were so good that I even forgot about the first one, specially the girl that served us water and bread.
We ordered the black beans soup, the bobó de camarão and the strogonoff, and I have no words to describe them! Omg! It was definitely the best Brazilian food me and my husband ever had! Outstanding! Five stars food! You should keep your chef forever!
We love visiting all Brazilian restaurants in town!
We are definitely going back as soon as possible!
Thank you for your amazing service!
Excellent food...exceptional waIt staff that gave wonderful recommendations. Good value. A must try on restaurant row.
We've been here a few times for pre-theater dining. Food is always good and staff is always friendly.
It was our first visit to Brazil Brazil, but it won't be our last. I've often passed it on Restaurant Row while going to other restaurants and thought I'd like to try it. Unlike a lot of RR restaurants they don't have a prix fixed meal, but all of their entrees are under $30. The rest. is owned by and serviced by Brazilians. But the best part was most of the patrons were Brazilian. That made me very confident in our choice. I particularly enjoyed my shrimp in a coconut and mushroom sauce served in a coconut. They weren't busy on a Wednesday evening so it was very quiet. Don't know what it's like on the weekends.
Excellent place. Recommended for families or friends reunion
The service and food were absolutely excellent.would definitely recommend.will be going back
This was our first visit to Brazil Brazil but it definitely will not be our last. Everything about this restaurant was top-of-the-line. The service, the atmosphere, and food was outstanding! The paella was top-of-the-line!
Good food, nothing fancy but quality. Good place to eat before a show.
With a world of restaurants in the Theater District, there are better options. The food was mediocre at best. Mixed grill was mostly dry, although my friend's shrimp pasta dish was good. Several of the dishes listed on the on-line menu were missing from the restaurant menu (the above mentioned pasta dish - however the chef did prepare it for her). Side dishes (just tried two) were bad (fried bananas) to so-so (sautéed spinach). I'm gad we tried it. But we won't be back.
To expensive compare the quality of the food
Wonderful! We go there every time we are in the city.
Offered short version of dinner menu between 6-9 pm due to high volume . Blamed theaters for it. We didn’t get what we wanted (paella) cause it took too long to cook and tables wouldn’t be cleared as fast for next customers.
It never disappoints. The food is great and the service is even better. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great food.
We loved it! The food was amazing and the service was above an beyond the standard!
Fantastic place for Brazilian food.
Didn’t have our reservation when we arrived. The place was a zoo. We had to find a more place to eat that night.
This would have been a more pleasant experience if we didn't have to wait an hour for our meals. Being that we had a show to see afterwards I had to call the waitress to expedite the service. Thus we had to eliminate coffee and dessert and then hurry to make the shows beginning.
We allowed an hour and 3/4 for the meal but had to hurry.
Food was great and service was great as well. The place was a little packed especially with the tables sort of on top of each other. Otherwise great time.
This was my first time here, but it will not be my last! The food was excellent! Our waiters recommendations hit the spot!
My steak was cooked to perfection. Cannot say enough about the cheese bread! We plan on coming back for our Christmas dinner!
Great food close to theater district
Price on menu not the same as price charged
My shrimp dinner was delicious. However, I cut two of my fingers on the folding chairs that we were sitting on. There was black goop in my water glass. Also, we finished eating at 7:00, and at 7:30 we were still waiting for our waiter to come to our table to refill water glasses and give us our bill.
Poor atmosphere in the “garden” where we were sitting. Perhaps in the summer it is better but on a November night it was lacking.
Great service. Food was outstanding and came out hot!
This was our second lunch at Brazil Brazil and we were not disappointed. I started with the beet, arugula and goat cheese salad which was excellent and generous. My husband had the black bean soup which was slightly less thick than desired but good. For entrees my husband had the paella which was loaded with seafood and delectable saffron rice. I had the seafood combo with salmon, haddock, shrimp and perfectly cooked grilled asparagus. Everything was very flavorful. Service was friendly and well paced. We just wish the room would not accentuate sound as much. It was fine since it was not crowded, yet even moderate noise can echo on the wooden floors. However, this is not unusual for most NY restaurants and was not unpleasant.
We'd definitely recommend Brazil Brazil and will return!
We enjoyed our dinner. The meals were good and tasty.
Great place to eat before the theater or just in the neighborhood.
Great staff. Extremely accommodating. Food was very good.
Always love dining at this restaurant before theater! Now, we just like to go and hang out... because the bartender, Jon, is fantastic and so personable. Really nice vibe...., good food and service and Jon will tease you on how “ gringios” pronounce caipirinhas... but I’m not a gringa... and the caipirinhas are delicious at happy hour.
The service was amazing. The seating was crammed somewhat however the food was great. I wish there was a cider beer but overall it was delish and I’ll be back.. again.
This is our go to for the best Brazilian food in Hell’s kitchen. Probably the best Brazilian food in Manhattan, if you ask me (it’s my review after all). Great food. Great service. A short walk from Times Square and theater district. Ask for extra garlic! Bisteca!
Brazil Brazil never disappoints. The service was perfect. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was conducive to an enjoyable evening.
heard a lot about this place. didn’t live up to the hype.
Brazil Brazil was great. The food was very good, as was our service. I would recommend this restaurant.
Most unimaginative tasteless meals. Rolls were burnt. Broiled fish was recommended and it was awful. Dry. Bland served with sticky plain white rice. Steak was over cooked and swimming in a salty gravy. Service was subpar
It was a very beautiful restaurant. The place is very cosy. The waiter was really careful and gave us such great advices. You can feel all the Brazilian feeling through the room. I really recommend. And, the plates were really delicious, I can tell that we ate silently in order to savor everything.
Excellent food and service. A noisy group at a nearby table detracted from a relaxing meal.
