Second time here and never disappoints. Definitely planning on coming again.
Amazing brasilian food, Nice team
Excelente comida , típica brasileña y muy buen sabor. No espadas afortunadamente. Servicio de primera . Calidad precio excelente
We had tickets to a concert and the restaurant just so happened to be on the same street as our venue, Sony Hall. Since we love to try new restaurants, and Brazilian cuisine is one of our favorites, we decided to try Brazil Brazil. WOW, what a great choice!
Upon arrival our server asked if we had a show to get to, just so he'd know how long we had to dine, which I thought was great. The drinks were excellent, the service was attentive, and the food..oh, the food was OUTSTANDING. For an appetizer, you must try the Frango a Passarinho. We also had the grilled tilapia and the picanha steak. Both entrees were amazing. If you love a good cocktail, please try the Brazilian Mojito..um, delicious!
We can't wait to go to another event in the Theater District so we can dine there again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! I've been telling everyone about it since we left.
Salad was good, but the steak was small, thin and very fatty. More than half was not eatable and came out to cold
Great food! Excellent service!
If there’s an option for a note to make the reservation special they do not looked st it. Again I said we were celebrating a birthday and it was not acknowledged.
Excellent food, friendly service and great atmosphere
Impeccable food and services.
My husband and I were going to a show and looking for a restaurant to have dinner at beforehand. Brazil Brazil was a great little find! Reasonable prices for NYC and excellent service! Part of my heritage is Portuguese, so I was happy to find some authentic Portuguese dishes on the menu like my Grandmother used to make, including a codfish cake as part of an appetizer. I would have loved an entire appetizer of them! There was even a couple dining there at the same time as us who only spoke Portuguese, and they had a waiter who was able to converse with them! We will be back for sure!
We wanted to enjoy our experience at Brazil Brazil. The music was very loud, and that deterred from a lot of the evening. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. Service was also good.
Nice for my mom’s birthday. Tons of special treatment and added touch. Excellent food
I'm Brazilian, and this was a taste treat! I haven't been able to enjoy authentic Brazilian food in a long time. This was wonderful!
Portions are large. Service is attentive and impecable. Food is authentic.
Our meal was just outstanding. We landed there on a quiet night — Tuesday while shows were about to start — and the staff was highly attentive. We got excellent suggestions and loved everything; I got the Peixe Natau and it was a lovely blend of flavors and textures. It was so incredibly hard to stop eating. I would happily go back and explore more of their menu!
Excelente atención muy agradable ambiente
Although dinner started out poorly. The restaurant corrected it very graciously.
Ate the beef stroganoff got so sick from it passed out in the bathroom
Seems like the sauce was bad made me sick
We went to Brazil Brazil for dinner before attending the theatre. Everything was good from the menu choices to the service to the wait staff’s knowledge of wines. My only complaint was an excessively loud patron a few tables over.
Great food, attentive service, relaxed atmosphere and fun!
We had a great experience at Brazil Brazil . We were a group of 8, after the theater. They took us early for our reservation. The food and drinks were great. The service was great. I believe our server’s name was Felipe. He was excellent, friendly and accommodating. You can tell he takes pride in his job, the restaurant and the food he is serving. He made us feel like he, personally, wanted us to have a great time, and we did!
I have friends that love this place, and I was looking to try something new. I think I must have hit it on the wrong night. It was one of those situations where you have a feeling that things are not going to go well and debate leaving. Well, I should have followed my gut. The hostess asked for the reservation name and left the hostess stand saying she would be right back. It took her five minutes to come back. The waiter was prompt and asked us what type of water we wanted. Ten minutes later, we still did not have water. I should also mention that during all of this, they were getting ready for a wedding in an adjacent room. People were going back and forth frantically and yes, the lovely bride and her father started their journey down the aisle next to our table. Our black bean soup and spinach salad order took twenty minutes to receive but were tasty. After finishing them, their was another delay waiting for the entrees. The lobster ravioli was good but generic but the veggie burger was nasty. The menu said it is made in house. Having been a vegetarian for thirty years, I can tell the difference. This one may have been made in the house of Dr. Praeger but not in this restaurant. If they were house made, they would have had a Latin flavor and used some delicious black beans that were abundant in the restaurant. When delivered, I looked at the cheese on top and it looked like a delectable Latin cheese. I soon discovered it was tofu slabs. Just plain, old, bland chunks of bean curd. Do they really think vegetarians eat tofu on everything??? Next, a table of four sat next to us and asked for the prix fixe menu. No one had even offered this as an option. The noise level was awful. Overall, this place sucked. P.S. They said we were no-shows and I got an e-mail from Open Table. Ugh!!!
It was a fantastic meal with great service
A variety of Brazilian dishes served in a spacious and comfortable room. Very welcoming and gracious service.
This is a cosy spot - perfect for pre- theatre. Server was friendly and efficient. Paella was delicious!
We had a blast! The waitstaff was awesome, and the food was wonderful. The waiters spoiled us with excellent service and food. Must visit if you are in New York.
Our waiter was great. The food way very good and the drinks were wonderful. The ambiance was really nice. They even have a back patio.
it was okay, The ambience was beautiful but the service was so slow. We were the first people there on 1/4/18, and our drink order took maybe 15 minutes?? My mom ordered a dish and asked if she could substitute someout else for the fries? it was an abolsulte NO. So she ordered
it as is, and she received 3 fries on her dish. It was so funny!
Overpriced and the food was just okay.
Delicious food, great service, casual atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
Ok food, too expensive for what it is. It was good nonetheless.
very interesting menu and very helpful staff, the food was great and I would strongly recommend trying this restaurant out
Overall a great place for dinner. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
Took my wife and daughter for dinner and could not have been more pleased. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. We spent two hours enjoying the food, drinks, and atmosphere. Would recommend to all and will make a return trip the next time we are in NY!
Great Service! Very personable wait staff. Food very good. (Pork a little dry)
The food is pretty good, but the portions are small and the prices are too high. Overall, you don't get your money's worth.
Good food and service. Great for after theater dinner.
Around! We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers and main dishes! Loved the fried bananas!
Interesting menu. Great food. Excellent service. Fair price. Just a bit tight on space.
Good Food and Ambiance. Was not told that sodas were non-refillable (3/4 of the drink was ice). Had we known that, we would not have ordered any. Service was very slow despite our early dinner reservation. There were only a few other persons at the restaurant at the time and quite a number of staff.
Great food! It was so fun to try Brazilian food. Even the kids enjoyed trying it all.
