Brazaviva Churrascaria - Sunrise Ratings and Reviews
the meat was tasty. the sides were not very tasty. there were lots of fruit flies around the sides. our waiter was not very attentive for drinks. we were not aware that the desserts were in addition to the cost of the meal. overall, very average and not worth the money.
We've visited many Brazilian steakhouses in south florida. This was a poor attempt, and you can tell that they are not Brazilian. To start they judged us as we entered the door, the place was EMPTY, and they asked if we had reservations, I guess because we were not super well dressed, its our style to go relaxed...in any case they seemed surprised and disappointed that we had reservations LOL. When we were seated they offered us sangria...the drink of choice if you drink at these places are Caipirinhas. The servers passed us over three times before I had to establish eye contact with one of them. And lastly the food selection of meats were slim, 2 types of chicken, 1 pork, and maybe 4 types of beef, filet not being one of them....the bill was as expected about 250 for 3 adults and 3 kids. What a disappointment!
This was our first visit. Huge self serve offerings featuring salads, fresh veggies, cheeses and rice and beans. Delicious meats, cooked to your preference, brought to your table. We were there early and the restaurant was quiet. Attentive, enthusiastic service. Gratuity is added to your bill.
Worst dining experience ever. Birthday celebration for mother went downhill fast. Where's the meat? We were a table of six. 1-2 meat servers approached out table twice in the first 20 minutes after serving the large table before us bringing what the other table left on the skewer. One time was 3 mini sausages of which the birthday girl had 1. Then 2 little mini steaks left in the other skewer. After 40 minutes of filling up on rice, bread, & potatoes, my mother asked for the manager. He was very apologetic and did try to appease us. As I explained to him how they were coming to us with one little piece of meat on the skewer sure enough the server approached with what looked like a hockey puck on a skewer so he was able to see for himself what was happening. My brother who can only eat chicken after several requests was served chicken but we asked for chicken for three people they came over with three little pieces of chicken on a skewer. As my brother cut into his chicken and ate several pieces pure red blood ran out from his uncooked bloody chicken. At that point he could not eat any further. When the meat finally started to come out after over an hour of waiting for service it was inedible. It was not rare, IT WAS RAW. Completely raw. I have pictures of the cold, raw meat. My poor mother the birthday girl tried to cut around the bloody parts and eat the edges but it was highly over seasoned and extremely salty & unable to eat. After an overpriced & underwhelming dessert, we left disgusted & $348.00 poorer. Conclusion is 3 of us got sick. One did not make it home & 2 spent the next day in the men's room. You should be shut down.
I think the restaurant wasn't good because we didn't eat different kind of meat that we read at advertisement , even the lamb was dry and reheat .
another think was the meat was raw ...really raw and we had to tell them and said if was possible to cook again.
definitely we won't go again .
The service was horrendous, it took us almost two hours to get out of here due to the fact that our waitress NEVER came by. You would have thought she was the only waitress in the restaurant...we actually even asked if they were understaffed and they said no, everyone was on staff which was even more amazing to us. The food was ok, salad bar is nothing to write home about - and the meat was decent but not great.
We will never go back to this place. It is not worth the price at all and their was a tip already added to our party of 7 which was way more than we would have left her.
I went pre-concert (Billy Joel). The food was good. Not great, but good. I found some of the meats a bit to salty and inconstantly cooked (Rare-Well on same knife), but over all very well prepared. They also came with very small cuts and I needed to wait a long time before that meat came back around, but it did, repeatedly. Overall, I had a great experience and will try this restaurant again. My dinner cost for 2 including tip and no drinks was $113.00. I would recommend for an occasion.
Best rodizio I have been to! Service was superb on all fronts, from beginning to end. The restaurant has marvelous ambience, simple yet elegant, heightened by an impressive wine display and and extremely well-heeled and tempting buffet.
When I say the buffet is tempting, it is no joke. From sauteed mushrooms to a variety of salads, an incredible Brazilian vegetable bisque, and an absolutely amazing fish ceviche, you will want to sample it well.
But this is a steakhouse; and it's in its wide selection of superb quality, terrifically well-seasoned meats that Brazaviva truly excels. Served perfectly to order, which they ask you in advance (unusual for a rodizio), the meats are so marvelously tender and fine you can cut them with your fork! The roast beef literally melted in my mouth, and it wasn't alone. And their signature picanha was brilliant as billed.
Brazaviva is not an everyday or common experience. But for your special celebration or event, you cannot ask for finer.
Meats were delicious. Service was a little slow but that gives you time to savor the various cuts of meat while not being bombarded with servers piling your plate high and then the meat getting cold.
Rose Angel is a phenomenal waitress. Request her if at all possible.
We enjoyed our meal but they should have come around more often with the red meats. The servers should also listen to the customers. We told them 3 times we don't eat bacon but were offered meats wrapped in bacon at least 8 times. They only came around once with the sirloin & roast beef which was our favorite but offered us chicken sausage & pork sausage 5 times.
They should have come around more times with the red meats. I feel that because we had a groupon, they offered more of the cheaper meats then the good meats. It's better than the other Brazilian steakhouse down the street but not as good as others. Will give it one more try to see if we were just there on an off night.
