Bravo! Restaurant and Cafe
When we came thru the door at 10:30 and the hostess seemed tired. Seemed very subdued. We ordered an omelet and we were friendly to the cook making the omelette. He never looked up or smiled. The omelette was burned around the edges and flat. The beef was cold... it just wasn’t up to the usual standards. I heard a lady say “is this all there is?” No one bothered to tell her that the majority of the food was in the back room. We were really looking forward to coming as it was Randy’s birthday but we were disappointed. We normally aren’t picky so I even hesitate writing this. We have always loved Bravos.
The Sunday Brunch is an amazing value. The food was great and the staff did a great job. I would highly recommend.
The entire meal was delicious, out of the seven of us only one mentioned that she would have liked more spice on her salmon. Service was excellent, desserts delicious. The margaritas were not as strong as we are used to. We will be back.
Always a good meal, good service and a comfortable feel. Our “go to” restaurant.
The food was top notch as always. Our server tonight was the best I’ve had in a long while.
Sunday brunch was decent. The food was good but it was busy and the table we were seated at was really close to another table making getting up challenging. It would have been a better experience had we not been so close the entrance and also a large party. We had made reservations for 10:30 when the place opens so I’m not sure why we (just two of us) were seated in such a poor location considering there appeared to be plenty of other tables open. Service was pretty awful considering how much you pay. We waited forever for coffee and then waited even longer for cream. Never got our mimosa’s and just gave up and paid the bill.
It is hard to go wrong at Bravo. Have been going there for years and it stays consistently good. Drinks are well made, food is tasty and the service is usually understated and efficient (and I mean that in a good way). It is our go to place after a long, hard work week.
Service was great, but the food was average at best. My Caesar salad was overdressed and wilty. The pizza was unremarkable.
My fiancee's and I had a great time on Saturday night. It was her first trip to Bravo. Wonderful as expected!
Great food sand even better service. It is a little pricey but never a bad meal and the service levels is very high.
Not only was our food excellent, my daughter dropped her keys and the staff went to a lot of trouble to find us and call us! We will be back again!
Always a great place to eat
Wonderful place. The steaks was great!
Wonderful menu options and the wait staff was friendly and very helpful.
I will definitely be returning here. The duck was amazing.
Very poor service, very slow. Server had only 4-5 tables to serve.
This was our second visit and the food was just as delicious as last time. We sat in a dinning room in back and it was very pleasant. Do wish the fireplace was lit though.
The food was excellent and our server was top notch. My only complaint was that we were seated by a serving area which had an exterior door located within. This door was the cause of a very cold draft throughout our meal.
Once moved to main dining room, everything perfect.
We were able to book a table for 13 on a Saturday evening, the food was awesome everyone enjoyed their meals, service was incredible, the price was very reasonable!
So nice to have a restaurant that will accommodate a reservation for over 6 people. The waitress was great and the service good. Wish the lighting would have been turned down more for a little ambiance. We will be back again.
We both had the Grilled Duck. Fabulous! It appeared the entire restaurant only had one waitress, but she did a great job with the help of her bus person. We were also an hour earlier than our reservation. We were seated without issue.
Great meal and great service!
Quaint setting. The food is absolutely awesome. The wait staff was remarkably good. The patrons were a bit noisy. If you're looking for great food this is the place.
The Chefs are top notch.
We had a reservation and I felt like the hostess was frazzled and not friendly. We asked for a table switch because my husband cannot do booths due to physical/balance issues. I did request a table in my online request but I did not say why. She was not very friendly about that either. I did ask her about other tables and she said they were all taken. It all worked out, I just felt like there was tension, the server wasn't very friendly either. The food was good, I wish there had been a few more breakfast options especially since the top of the french toast dish was burnt.
I haven’t been back to the area in a few years but Bravo was always a favorite. Not sure what changed, but the food was meh. My salad was full of brown lettuce so it was sent back. The new salad was half the size of previous one and dressing was on the side. It tasted like it came out of a bag. I had lasagna which had very little taste at all. My husband had the chicken Alfredo which he said was tasty but the color of the sauce was odd. Unfortunately we will not return.
We enjoy the atmosphere. The pre dinner bread could have been warm in a basket. The drinks were good and dinner was great. Waiter could have been more engaged. Overall we Had a good experience.
There was cold air blowing from the ceiling that made it a bit uncomfortable?
We went to the Sunday Brunch. The food was all very good, plentiful and kept fresh/warm. Our waitress (Brigette) was exceptional. Highly recommend.
We had a very enjoyable evening and a great meal! Our waiter, Ty, did a great job and was very personable (we’ve had him as a waiter before). Bravo is our favorite restaurant in Kalamazoo!
The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. Bravo is a notch above other restaurants in service and quality but in the same price range.
Food was excellent. Service was a bit slow but it was a relaxing evening.
The pizza was excellent and a good value. The steak was good, yet not good enough for the price. The whitefish was very good and a decent value. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful.
I would return.
6 month reunion with a coworker, whom was celebrating her birthday
Great food, great service and warm atmosphere. Would highly recommend and will be back
My Fiancé and I dined here the night I proposed. They were stellar in helping make this special night happen. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Terry was more than generous!
Always a stop when going from Detroit to Chicago and back. Good for a small pizza of a complete meal.
Went with spouse and mother (of a certain age) for simple birthday celebration. Service team was attentive
and respectful but not cloying. Food arrived in good timing; a "shared" entree was divided in advance and served appropriately. We all enjoyed the meals (chicken alfredo, canestrini with portobella mushrooms). The roasted brussels sprouts are a killer side dish. We get to Kzoo every now and again; Bravo will stay on the list to visit again.
We were terribly disappointed in the quality of the food at the Sunday brunch. We had heard good things about it, and it was not what we expected from BraVo. I have held many business events there and had good experiences with food and service. Our server did a good job but the food was mediocre at best. Not what we expected from BraVo. Pizzas were cold. Omlette was mediocre (& not many choices of ingredients). Desserts were small and tasteless. :(
Delicious food. Good selection. Friendly staff. Good ambiance.
Always love the food and service!
