Bravo! Pizzeria & Grill Ratings and Reviews
We had been told that this was a good pizza place. Made reservations as that is what we usually do. No need for it, it was sadly almost empty. Food was good, but wine way too hot. Please get a cellar! Service was ok. Felt like we were bothering the waitress......! Would go back.
We made reservations and arrived on time and were seated quickly. At first, our server seemed attentive and we received our drinks and appetizers in a reasonable time. However, we had to wait 50 minutes after finishing our appetizers for our main courses. We had reservations for 5 pm and the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived, nor was it busy when we left. Clearly, our server forgot about us, and our meal, but tried to make it seem as though the kitchen staff forgot to make our food. It was also clear that when she brought our food, it had been sitting under heat lamp or in an oven so it could be "warm". It wasn't warm. My pizza was dry and cold and my husband's $36 lamb main course was also cold. It was obvious that our server forgot our meals and didn't care. She couldn't be bothered to apologize either. Please, if you're reading this, don't eat here. Your money and time is better spent at a restaurant where staff will treat you with respect and pay enough attention and make sure your food gets to you in an appropriate amount of time.
Bravo was not up to it's usual standard this past Tuesday night. A member of our party inquired about the soup of the day and was told there was only one bowl left- creme of mushroom, hardly a 'soup of the day.' The same fellow ordered a beer- which they were out of. While the food was as good as always it took a VERY long time to arrive on a not busy mid-week off season evening. Our server (Daytona, who was excellent) tried to put a good face on it but it was evident that something has happened to Bravo since my last visit. I would give them another chance as this has been my first less than excellent experience there and I am hoping that this is not another great place in NF whose lustre tarnishes till it just fades away.
Have been there many many times a s always has superb service. This last time our appetizers came before our drinks and the garlic bread was terrible the cheese was not melted properly and not very garlicy as the previous times. We were embarrassed as told our friends how wonderful the food was. We did two staff and got one garlic bread taken off our bill as we had 2 breads. Maybe change in kitchen staff bit as I said many many times before the garlic bread was so delicious.
Pretty good for the area. We were in the Fallsview Doubletree, able to walk over in just a few minutes. The Caprese salad was quite good. We also enjoyed a wood fired Barese pizza.
Service was interesting. Our server was a bit quirky, with unique comments. My favorite was when we said we were not going to take the last two slices of pizza with us, she replied "well, I guess I'll just throw them in the trash" - conveying disappointment with tone and eye-roll.
The tables outside were nice during a light traffic time of day.
This was our first time at your restaurant although we have lived in the falls for 4 years.
We enjoyed our meal but we had a problem with the timing of our appetizers and entrees. It took 45 minutes to get our appetizers. The apps were at our table for no more than 3 minutes when the entrees came. I did send them back and they were good about apologizing and bringing them back at an appropriate time when we were finished with the apps. It was a Sunday evening and I didn't think it was that busy that it should have taken so long to get our apps.
We made reservations for 8:30pm and were seated immediately. We were in vacation with our children, 6 and 12, and all we ordered were two kids meals and two entrees. We were not served until 10pm and my 6 yr old fell asleep before his meal arrived. They blamed it on two large parties that came in. To be fair, they gave me a free beer, took the kids meals off the bill, gave us free desert and a meat platter to take with us. We would go again but would go much earlier next time.
Abysmal service: Over the course of a 2.5 hour meal, waiters did not once voluntarily check on our beverages. Moreover, when asked, waiter took upwards of 30 minutes (and several more requests) to serve water.
Extremely lackluster food: Not one individual in our party of 10+ enjoyed their food. We have visited Bravo numerous times in the past, but it was apparent to us that the quality of food and, per my last point, service has clearly deteriorated.
All in all, I think that we will forego any future visits to this restaurant. A shame, considering how highly we had previously held it.
The restaurant was amazing. They had table ready before we walked in. Our server was fantastic. Kept checking in with us. Quality of food was incredible. And no noise at all. There were two large groups near my group of 4 and they were not loud at all. Great experience! It was my first time using the app! So easy.
Let me start by saying that we have eaten here before and it was very good.
Had it not been for an amazing waitress (Tania) we would have never paid for such lousy food.
First we ordered an appetiser of Italian inspired Nachos this was an insult to Italian food, food in general. It was greasy and not good enough for an Italian eatery or even dare I say a Shoeless Joes.
Second, we ordered the fried calamari which no one can mess up but unfortunately the "chef" and I use that term very lightly decided that a sweet honey chipotle sauce would be good on seafood. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We ate three pieces and sent it back. Then they charged us for half of the order. Me not wanting a bad experience and because the waitress was very pleasant we decided not order any more food and decided Martinis were a better bet.
Would I recommend this "eatery" NOPE!!!!
Unfortunately this typical of the majority of Niagara Falls Eateries.
My husband and I went to bravo for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We have gone to this restaurant several times in the past and it has always been great. This time it was not that good. The menu changed and the pasta selection isn't very impressive. We both ordered the smoked chicken papredelle pasta and it was so dry, hardly any sauce on it and we both needed to add salt and pepper. I do not think we will be eating here again.
Had a great meal with son and daughter in law on Tues. night. They paid attention to what we wanted - no rush with courses because we were having great conversations and taking our time. Calamari was excellent - best ever and the pizza was delicious. We had the margaerita and it was dead on. Would go back in a heart beat!!!!!
This was the third time I have been to Bravo. The food is always very good. Some of the freshest and best prepared calamari I have ever had. The pizzas are incredible. I have also had the prime rib which I would strongly recommend. The wine list has many good choices to pair with your meal. And the service has always been very friendly and attentive.
