Bravo! Pizzeria & Grill Ratings and Reviews
Pretty good for the area. We were in the Fallsview Doubletree, able to walk over in just a few minutes. The Caprese salad was quite good. We also enjoyed a wood fired Barese pizza.
Service was interesting. Our server was a bit quirky, with unique comments. My favorite was when we said we were not going to take the last two slices of pizza with us, she replied "well, I guess I'll just throw them in the trash" - conveying disappointment with tone and eye-roll.
The tables outside were nice during a light traffic time of day.
This was our first time at your restaurant although we have lived in the falls for 4 years.
We enjoyed our meal but we had a problem with the timing of our appetizers and entrees. It took 45 minutes to get our appetizers. The apps were at our table for no more than 3 minutes when the entrees came. I did send them back and they were good about apologizing and bringing them back at an appropriate time when we were finished with the apps. It was a Sunday evening and I didn't think it was that busy that it should have taken so long to get our apps.
We made reservations for 8:30pm and were seated immediately. We were in vacation with our children, 6 and 12, and all we ordered were two kids meals and two entrees. We were not served until 10pm and my 6 yr old fell asleep before his meal arrived. They blamed it on two large parties that came in. To be fair, they gave me a free beer, took the kids meals off the bill, gave us free desert and a meat platter to take with us. We would go again but would go much earlier next time.
Abysmal service: Over the course of a 2.5 hour meal, waiters did not once voluntarily check on our beverages. Moreover, when asked, waiter took upwards of 30 minutes (and several more requests) to serve water.
Extremely lackluster food: Not one individual in our party of 10+ enjoyed their food. We have visited Bravo numerous times in the past, but it was apparent to us that the quality of food and, per my last point, service has clearly deteriorated.
All in all, I think that we will forego any future visits to this restaurant. A shame, considering how highly we had previously held it.
The restaurant was amazing. They had table ready before we walked in. Our server was fantastic. Kept checking in with us. Quality of food was incredible. And no noise at all. There were two large groups near my group of 4 and they were not loud at all. Great experience! It was my first time using the app! So easy.
Let me start by saying that we have eaten here before and it was very good.
Had it not been for an amazing waitress (Tania) we would have never paid for such lousy food.
First we ordered an appetiser of Italian inspired Nachos this was an insult to Italian food, food in general. It was greasy and not good enough for an Italian eatery or even dare I say a Shoeless Joes.
Second, we ordered the fried calamari which no one can mess up but unfortunately the "chef" and I use that term very lightly decided that a sweet honey chipotle sauce would be good on seafood. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We ate three pieces and sent it back. Then they charged us for half of the order. Me not wanting a bad experience and because the waitress was very pleasant we decided not order any more food and decided Martinis were a better bet.
Would I recommend this "eatery" NOPE!!!!
Unfortunately this typical of the majority of Niagara Falls Eateries.
My husband and I went to bravo for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We have gone to this restaurant several times in the past and it has always been great. This time it was not that good. The menu changed and the pasta selection isn't very impressive. We both ordered the smoked chicken papredelle pasta and it was so dry, hardly any sauce on it and we both needed to add salt and pepper. I do not think we will be eating here again.
Had a great meal with son and daughter in law on Tues. night. They paid attention to what we wanted - no rush with courses because we were having great conversations and taking our time. Calamari was excellent - best ever and the pizza was delicious. We had the margaerita and it was dead on. Would go back in a heart beat!!!!!
This was the third time I have been to Bravo. The food is always very good. Some of the freshest and best prepared calamari I have ever had. The pizzas are incredible. I have also had the prime rib which I would strongly recommend. The wine list has many good choices to pair with your meal. And the service has always been very friendly and attentive.
As locals in Niagara Falls it is one of our favourite places to eat. The servers are always friendly, the food is excellent ( I highly recommend the lasagna), lots of parking and a great place to meet with your friends. We were there for 3 1/2 hours and no one was pushing us out. A great place!
Great food, prompt service, reasonably priced. The server had a lot of character...She was funny and professionnal but a bit OTT (the server kinda forced one of my friends to take home her bit of leftover steak which she didn't want to do because she wasn't going home right after). Overall a great experience!
Terrible service. We were seated 35 minutes after our reservation time. Waited 10 minutes at the table and decided to leave when we hadn't even been greeted by a server. Tables around us looked similar- lots of menus, no drinks, no food. We were looking forward to trying the pizza. I gave them a three rating on food based on the other ratings but didn't actually eat. Staffing an issue and this was noted in other posts as well.
It was our first time in Niagara Falls and we Googled top rated family restaurants, and found Bravo near the top of the list. I would highly recommend Bravo, the food was so delicious. You're able to watch the pizza chefs hard at work spinning and flipping the dough up in the air, baking and slicing pizzas non-stop. We didn't get an appetizer, though the neighboring table's looked amazing. The food portions are very large, bring an appetite. The lasagna was one of the best I've had, I'm craving it right now just writing about it! My husband had the prime rib which was thickly sliced and presented with an array of colorful veggies and potatoes. He said it was excellent. My son had the lobster mac & cheese which he loved. The pieces of lobster were huge and plentiful and just what he had been craving. Definitely one of our favorite meals this trip and a restaurant we will be returning to on any future trips to Niagara Falls.
Came here with the family while in Niagara Falls. Food was decent and looked like it might be a nice spot, but the service was the worst we've ever had - anywhere! We had to repeat our order twice, our server forgot drinks for half of us and then brought the wrong drinks for me and my wife. She then forgot the food order for two of us so two of the kids had to sit for 10 minutes while the rest of us ate. In the end, one of the two late meals was also wrong, in addition to one of the first ones they screwed up as well. They tried to make up for it by giving us free dessert but that ship had sailed and we were done. We're pretty sure our server was actually drunk. To top it all off, there were only about 10 people in the whole restaurant (we were 6) and they had sent one of the servers home just as we arrived. If you're not busy it makes sense to let someone end their shift early, but you should probably make sure the staff you have left are capable of taking an order. In short, if you're open for business, make sure you can actually serve your customers. Needless to say, we're not coming back.
The restaurant was unable to deal with the crowd on the long weekend, which resulted in cold overcooked food. The waiter spilled olive oil on our friends jacket and did not take ownership or get the manager involved. You make a mistake, take ownership and correct the situation.
We were looking for oven fired pizza and booked this restaurant based on reviews on TripAdvisor. The pizza was very good, we enjoyed our meal. The waiter seemed out of touch on serving sizes as he though that 2 pizzas would not be enough for 2 adults and 2 kids but it was more than plenty. He was otherwise great, friendly and cordial. We booked reservations but were seated at an open table and didn't get a booth, so I am perplexed as to what was the point of making reservations. Overall it is a good restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone dining in the Niagara Falls area.
