We had a pre-theatre brunch to celebrate a 23rd birthday. Server was friendly and helpful, food was well paced. Food was great with the exception of the yogurt parfait which was watery. Pear salad was a favorite!

As with many others, we went before the theater. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. My husband ordered the mussels, which came in a very large bowl. The mussels were large, but tender and in a not too spicy sauce with chorizo. My bolognese was delicious and enough left over for lunch the next day. This will definitely be our go to place before Trinity.

While the service was fine, for the second time in a row the food was subpar. I had an eggs Benedict dish, and the only flavor to the hollandaise was salt. It was also lukewarm at best. The seasoned potatoes that came with it only tasted of paprika. All in all, disappointing. We probably won’t be going back.

Service at Bravo is always outstanding, and food offerings always satisfying. Atmosphere is upscale, urban, and sophisticated. Bravo is always crowded at the dinner hour---but is a perfect spot for pre-theatre dining (Trinity Rip is across the street; PPAC is two blocks south). Noise level is high, so don't expect an intimate, romantic dinnertime experience. We like Bravo and have pre-theatre dinners here six or seven times each season. Bravo's valet parking is a plus in a busy downtown.

First time at Bravo and it did not disappoint. Got there early for our reservation and had a cocktail the bar. Excellent bartender and drinks. Had the special surf and turf and it was superb. Perfect for pre theater dinner and just steps from Trinity. We will definitely be back.

We came in for a late lunch on a Friday. It was very quiet except for patrons at the bar. We were promptly greeted and sat. Service was quick and friendly. We both had the steak sandwich. It had plenty of steak in it and the meat was tender. Overall a great meal.

i've been going to Bravo for many years pre-post Trinity and other times too. Different owners; updated menu. One of my favorite places. Service is friendly and attentive, even when they are rushing to get everyone across the street in time for a play.
Gabe, who takes good care of parking cars, is one of the nicest people ever.

Disappointing experience, I’ve dined at Bravo a number of times and have noticed a decline in service each time. From the extremely slow valet parking to disorganized hostess to the seemingly overworked wait staff. The food was ok not great and the convenience of the Theaters was a plus. However, I would choose a different Resturant in the future.

BB is across Washington Street from Trinity Rep---and is perfect for pre-theatre dinner. Service is prompt, and they are accustomed to people having to leave by 7:15 pm or so for a 7:30 curtain.

Their pasta Bolognese is not the traditional recipe but a rather thicker one in a faint pink cream sauce. It's very good---but it's not what you might expect.

Overall: BB is a fine and convenient place for dinner before a Trinity play.

It was a disappointment from our last visit a few years ago. They no longer serve the sole meunière, which was outstanding. Crab cakes were mostly filler and over cooked. Caesar salad was tasty. Very sweet and pleasant server.. we had a Groupon, which stated that an 18% gratuity would be added but, instead a 20% gratuity was included. Not certain if they have a new chef or what the reason could be for the decline in food, but we may give it one more chance.

This was our 4th time visiting Bravo, and I must say that it is always delicious, consistent, and service is amazing! We have had Kristen for 3 out of our 4 visits, (much to our delight!), and she is perhaps the most amazingly professional, charming, and attentive server we have ever experienced! We always return for the duck (best outside of Paris that we’ve tried) and the lovely patio. But Kristen really makes the experience special! Service can make or break a dining experience, and Kristen is a total pro! We will come back again and again for duck and for Kristen! Thanks, Bravo and Kristen!

Ambiance is great and service very friendly . But find the food has become mediocre
Mussels fritte was a staple but found mussels much too large with not enough broth/sauce to accompany & not flavorful
Special pork “tenderloin” was actually pork loin , although tasty. Convenient for pre theater but would not go there for a special evening out

"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."

Wonderful food and fa-nominal service. The only complaint is that the tables are very close to each other. We had 6 in our party and I can not say enough about the service, food and drinks. They were top notch.

We went for pre theater brunch. Scrambled eggs with cheddar were great as was my husband's Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. However the corned beef hash didn't make it. Very bland, made with sweet potato. Had to be returned to the kitchen. The bistro filled quickly with pre theater diners such that they couldn't keep up with the coffee or food orders for their guests. Good waitress.

The food was mediocre. Not terrible. It was edible. But the french fries were pale and droopy, my Ruben was thin enough to make the plate look empty, and the crab cake eggs Benedict had tiny crab cakes. The service was also very slow, and took more than 20 minutes before they took our order. I would not go back.

Nice waitress.

Arrived at 6. Didn't receive food until 7:11. We only ordered appetizers. They were underwhelming. Scallops were the only hit. Had a show at 7:30. Awfully expensive for little reward.
Waitress was nice.

The staff was friendly and we were seated promptly. The scallops wrapped in bacon was delicious and the pickled cucumber salad on the plate was a nice counter balance. The spinach salad was good with a variety of flavors and textures, my only minor complaint is that it was overdressed. We sat at a small round high top table next to the bar. The table didn't leave much room for our food and drinks and the area was increasingly loud as the dinner went on and the crowd filled in. Overall it was a good dining experience, and great location for before or after a theater show.

We were there for lunch. Had to wait to be seated because there was no one to seat us. Food was good, it almost always is here. We could hear a couple of obscenities from the kitchen, personally, I don't mind if it's just me, but I was with my wife and daughter. Made for a little uncomfortable. Other than that, B+. Like I said, I've been here numerous times, it is a good place to try, especially if you're going to Trinity Rep.

My boyfriend and I went to Rhode Island for the day. The New England clam chowder was good. I ordered a lobster roll and they didn't have lobster. We both ate burgers and we weren't satisfied. My boyfriend felt sick when we left. The fries tasted like oil. If we ever go back to Rhode Island we won't be going back here.

As always the service was very good.
Unfortunately, the quality of meals has declined significantly over the past year. It is disappointing.
Perhaps it was because we opted for the Special Monday "deal" or had a Groupon. However I feel that is no excuse for food being overcooked, undercooked, cold. On some occasions the restaurant was very busy, on others, very slow, it made no difference.
Bravo used to be our go-to restaurant for a casual night out, but not any longer.
