Weather-permitting, we also have Al Fresco seating available on a walk-in basis.
Nice tapas at a reasonable price. Service was good, the restaurant was quiet for a Saturday lunch time.
Back in town for a biz trip and I got the chance to get back to Bravas Tapas! Very good idea: good food, wide choice and fine wine. Recommended
Hidden gem with absolutely delicious, varied, and beautifully presented tapas. The foil gras with the caramelized duck reduction crisp embedded with cherries and almonds was to die for as was the salmon sashimi wrapped around the crispy sweet potato very fine straws. Also amazing the gore gras stuffed quail legs wrapped in prosciutto presented in a birds nest with an egg cal taking dipping sauce. Last nut not least, THE best shrimp tempura with a divine sauce I have ever had. The Duero wine selection is excellent. Great spot at St. katherine’s Dock.
First class as always
Pleasant tapas restaurant in the tower hill area, but there are far better in London
Super lovely restaurant for a catch up with a friend. Couldnt fault the food but got a bit rousy at times. But would definitely go there again and the portions are perfect for sharing.
That said, some of the portions came with 3 pieces so I would ask for a knife so you can cut it.
Always like this place. And I am Spanish. Octopus is nice.
AMAZING food and really good selection of whiskies!
Everything was perfect, great atmosphere, friendly stage and delicious food x
Service was poor and none of the staff seemed to know anything about the food or wine on the menu. Also plates were cleared that still had food on them
Good (again) and we will return. The potatoes, foie gras and lamb all outstanding dishes, good wine choices too.
To expensive for the small portioneren. Also the waitress cleans up the room way to fast!
Food was excellent and served with a smile, easily the best tapas we've had in London! Thank you for a lovely lunch.
Sadly the meat was tough and chewy 😔 the wine and cava were nice. We were sat to a loud bunch of white collars which made it extremely difficult to hear my friend speak - would not visit again.
Good ambiance and a fun atmosphere but the food and drink was only okay, vegetarian options were limited, and it wasn’t worth the high price.
I have been there 3-4 times and always enjoy it a lot!
Excellent food! Extraordinary tapas!
Great place for a after work dinner with friends
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the service, food and location was excellent, thank you.
This beautiful little restaurant did the most amazing tasting tapas. Although not cheap, we ate very well. It has beautiful views and the decor is nice. I’d really recommend the patas bravas, padron peppers, short rib and lamb chops! Service was nice too. Would recommend.
I visited Bravas twice-in September with a male friend who is a connoisseur of Spanish cuisine and in October with a female friend who knows her tapas.
On the first occasion we were both very impressed by the superb-in terms of concept, creation and presentation food.
Ditto in October.
On the first occasion we were both struck by the utter indifference of the staff-we would have more interaction if a passerby had served the food.
To give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt, I returned in October.
On this occasion I sat facing the other diners.
The same staff-minus one waitress-were present as on the first visit.
And the indifference had gone up a few notches--a robot would have been more friendly.
This observation applied to how other diners were treated--a heroic trio having a working lunch at an adjacent table--ordered at least four bottles of wine over the course of their meal [respect!!] which were plonked in a peremptory fashion on their table.
It was cold comfort to observe that we were not alone in receiving our food and drink from staff who clearly wished they were somewhere else.
To add salt to our wounds the two staff on duty interacted far more with each other than with the diners.
A senior manager seemed friendly, not to say intimate, with the waitress--she may have been his daughter.
Memo to the owners--you have a superb venue, fantastic but dire staff and your restaurant is being badly let down by them.
I won't be going back and I suspect many others won't either.
Delicious food and great portion size, good value for money. Service basically good apart from some waiters who couldn’t understand us. We love this place
Amazing Tapas, almost as good as Can Pinxto, Soller , Majorca, THE best in Spain!!
Tasty food. Service not very attentive. Sangria not very good. Small plates often priced in double figures
The salmon rulada used to be more tightly packed and so easier to eat....
The best Tapas in the World!
Wonderful food, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Amazing wines and a great location.
This place is a gem.
Simple; great food, great wine, great atmosphere & fantastic service.
Nice greeting when we arrived, friendly and attentive staff. Our waiter was happy to describe the dishes on the menu to us and help us select for our party of four with one vegetarian and one person allergic to nuts. Everything was of a high standard, the short rib dish with onion rings being the overall favourite but pork belly, octopus and garlic chilli prawns all delicious. A good choice for a special birthday lunch.
This restaurant enjoys a beautiful setting at St. Katharine's Docks, near Tower Bridge. The food is excellent and we loved the variety and originality of the tapas dishes.
Visited last Friday night with hus band & daughter.
Food was so good, will visit again when in London
Found this place by searching around our hotel (Guoman Tower)! Managed to book very easily online. Arrived to be seated and promptly served with menu. Food was delicious & thoroughly recommend the spinach roquettes! A tad pricey for what you get. Overall very pleased and quite filling food.
Most tapas places outside Spain tend to be a hit like the proverbial curates egg - good in parts - some dishes work - some are great - some not - there were 5 of us and between us we had most of the menu. Every dish was very very good. The fois gras arranged like a creme brulee was outstanding. It’s not cheap - but service is very good and you get what you pay for
One of my fav places to eat in London, the best Tapas you can eat x
Poor choices for those of us who are gluten free. Why do they need to stuff flour into most things?
Went with the misses for our 1 year anniversary and was completely blown away by the food. Prawns were soft and juicy, Octopus was to die for, the bravas were amazing! Service was quick but relaxed, a perfect afternoon.
Amazing tapas. Yes, not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and every dish we had was divine. A highlight was the octopus, but honestly everything about our visit was excellent. Lovely staff, really quick table service and great location/atmosphere
Great tapas, friendly service. We have been here a few times and never disappointed with the excellent food and efficient service.
Loved on our previous visits but this time not up to scratch
Decent tapas, very limited menu and small expensive plates. Need to spend a lot to fill up. Service average to poor. Took ages to get a drink. Lovely location and nice restaurant, let down by a pretentious, limited, expensive menu.
Absolutely faultless from start to finish. Without doubt one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Every dish was a new taste experience. We were guided through the menu and were happy to take the recommendations given. We’re so glad we did, otherwise we may have missed out on some incredible food. Service was never rushed, we moved to the bar after eating for another couple of glasses of wine and genuinely didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended.
