Sit out on the covered patio any time of the year and enjoy a chilled Tapa of Salmorejo soup or tuna belly salad. Join a group of friends indoors at Bravas while dining on a warm Tapa of bacon wrapped dates with blue cheese, warm bacalao on wood grilled flatbread or the Pocket Creak Duck Egg served sunnyside up with Chorizo cracklings and toast. Other menu items include Monterey Calamari served with salsa verde, blackened lamb porterhouse or the skirt steak with red onion marmalade and Valdeón Cheese.
Bravas offers a large selection of local and Spanish wines, sangrias and Spain inspired cocktails that will not only quench your thirst but will complement your food perfectly and authentically.
Great service, amazing food! Our ritual when in Healdsburg now!
Great food, super fresh and innovative tapas. Only issue for me was the iced tea with clove spice - leaves an impression on the palate
The paella was better than what we ate during our recent trip to Spain! Tapas amazing, well-staggered (not everything came at once), and creative. We also loved the non-traditional tapas -- sweet chili lime corn and fried chicken! Well done, Bravas Bar de Tapas!
Always amazing! Great atmosphere, wonderful wine list and off the chart food!
The food and the drinks were delicious and super affordable for the quality. We went during happy hour and ordered everything on the menu!!
The food was just ok. The place is super run down. Wood floor is trashed, filthy, disgusting. They need to close down for a week and refresh this place. Now onto the menu. Fair. Fun. Not fantastic.
Great tapas. The paella was outstanding. A must place in Healdsburg.
The food was just alright. The Paella and the Seafood was over cooked. Our server was very friendly, so he was great. It was tough to eat here because it was 90 degrees outside and was so hot inside. No AC, and they tried to seat us outside when we arrived. Also for a restaurant that is in a wine region, they serve their wine in a short wide open glass. This is not optimal for tasting the good qualities in a nice wine. Will not eat here again.
Sun was in our face the entire meal. After asking a few times; no one would offer to move use even though we were the only sunny table out of 9 on the patio and they hadn’t reset the tables. Great food; great service; just totally dependent on where you get sat. I was in the sun the literal entire time I was at this place.
Great place with awesome service. Dog friendly patio!
What a fun restaurant in Healdsburg! Went with a big group so we had the opportunity to share quite a few dishes. Favorites were definitely the fried chicken, crab stuffed piquillo peppers, duck meatballs, a stunning heirloom tomato salad and the organic soft serve for dessert. The quality of the food, beautiful patio and delicious cocktails make this a must when in Healdsburg - we'll be back.
Spoke with 2 managers who where excellent, just like our server . The ambiance was excellent. The tapas and paella were great. I highly recommend Bravas.
Relaxed, friendly and amazing food; more affordable than others. Loved it.
Second visit to Bravas and was rather disappointed. While our waitress was pleasant, it took a long time for our orders to come out of the kitchen. None of the five items ordered were memorable in any way. Even the cheese plate lacked variety. Pretty dull. Overall, Bravas is expensive for what they offer, with slow service and unremarkable food. We won’t be back.
Tasty food in a relaxed atmosphere. Lots of interesting choices.
The tapas food was great! Especially the paella -- the best I have every had. The service was top notch. While we would have preferred a table in the patio, the dining room upstairs was very comfortable. We both had cocktails that were very tasty and unique.
Get the dungeness crab stuffed peppers and grilled trout.
Service was horrible. Ordered a small fried chicken and potatoes to start and said we would keep looking over the menu for more food. Potatoes came out 2 mins later and fried chicken 30 after that. Would have loved to of ordered more food but since our server failed to come back or check in on us I hurried my 2 guest out so we could still get dinner before 10pm. Offered no menu suggestions with pour your own wine level service and fried chicken that needs some flavor. I own a restaurant and feel bad that you have a manager who can stand 5 feet away but has no awareness to tend to guest needs. Great space. Service was poor last time but we got fed. This time we left hungry and didnt care to finish the drive thu quality chicken.
Healdsburg can be really warm. My reservation was at 5:30. They had no air conditioning! I thought my food was fantastic and they have lovely cocktails but I could not enjoy myself because it was too hot inside the dining room!
Flew in to try this Top 10 restaurant suggestion- food was good but the service was slow and terrible, one of our dishes never made it to our table , then they claimed they would rush it to us , and another 45 minutes and nothing - we left after that.
The dishes we had , potatoes with chorizo was really good, as were the scallops.
Doubt we would ever go again -
Not to mention it took 25 minutes to get a Sangria-
BTW let me point this out - we sat down at 1.30pm , so not during a rush - can’t imagine the disaster this place is during lunch or god forbid dinner time!
Food was great, service was sketchy. Unfortunately it took so long to get our wine that we cancelled the order.
Apparently they were very short staffed in the bar area and server couldn’t get our wine. Long pauses between dishes.
Roasted beets - yum! Roasted cauliflower with dates, bleu cheese, and almonds- texturally interesting and delicious! From the Midwest and love to travel to California. An artichoke is always a must during my trip. The one at Bravas was roasted perfectly and dripping in a sweet oil that made it truly a treat. Loved it all!!
The food was excellent, the service was only so, so. The first glass of wine was half the pour of the second glass. The food was a little pricey. For two with two glasses of wine and 5 tapa dishes the bill wa $100.
Ate here with a group of friends and we were all surprised at the high ratings Bravas receives
Great Place for having some plates in an very relaxing atmosphere.
Enjoyed sitting in the outdoor area on a warm summer day. Good selection of cold and hot tapas. Highlights were the fried duck egg with morcilla and the goatcheese with honey on toast.
We ate outside on the patio. Was a great area for an outdoor meal. Enjoyed the diversity of good quality food. Our server was attentive and very friendly.
Good casual place , nice outdoor space , good food not too expensive
An intimate yet festive birthday celebration was made so very special by Bravas on Saturday night. We were 2 couples celebrating our 20 year friendship and a birthday milestone. The food, service and ambience were impeccable. Bravas is always fun and enjoyable.
Really loved the food but the service was terrible - the wait staff needs more training.
Had a wonderful meal and cocktails! Jesus our server was stellar!
Terrific as always. The food has had a bit of a back slide since the last time we ate there. The Pan Oliva used to be better, served on wonderful rustic Ciabatta bread. Now it seems to be on Ciabatta roll from Costco. Duncan’s mushrooms gone, one of the reasons to go there. Duck Meatballs, freaking awesome. Tuna belly salad, totally yummy. Patatas Bravas simply ok, the potatoes cooked far too long. All in all, wonderful night with friends. The outside is the best for talking with companions, the inside is cramped and noisy.
Fabulous. Service a bit slow... lost our drink order so we waited and waited. But otherwise ok. Food always delicious.
We always love coming to Bravas. Service is excellent, food is outstanding, and the beverages are unique and tasty. The paella is particularly tasty.
Overall a good meal. The music playing in the restaurant was classic rock which seemed odd for a tapas restaurant. Even though the restaurant wasn't busy, our server wasn't particularly attentive to us. The quality of the food made it a more positive than negative experience.
Amazing experience! We absolutely loved our server. She was so friendly and knowledgeable! Will be back next time we’re in Sonoma!
We used to love coming here after wine tasting. Not certain what is going on here, but service was lacking, the kale salad was made differently and some of our fried chicken was dry.
Really excellent tapas and a great value. Best Spanish food in Sonoma County
Great food and service
Today was a special occasion with my daughter in town. Spencer helped us with a great table, outdoor seating. It made such a difference. Thank you Starks family for employing such great people. We’ve been to your restaurants dozens of times. It makes the experience all the better.
