It was our first time and we were completely blown away by the creative fabulous food! Great gluten free options! Be sure to try the beets. Can’t wait to go back!
The food at Brassica was innovative and wonderful. The service was friendly and excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal!
The food, service and moderate noise level were superb at Brassica. Only parking is a challenge, so leave enough time. But definitely try it if you like delicious food.
We have been to Brassica many times and each time is such a great experience. The menu varies and each time we are wowed by the interesting and flavorful selections!! The staff is outstanding, and we are very lucky to have Zach as our server almost every visit. He's the best!!
literally one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time- such pleasant, friendly, and genuine service... drinks were incredible and creative... and the beet dish is haunting my dreams (in a good way)!
This is our favorite restaurant. Imaginative flavors and combinations. Fun, energetic and attentive staff. A foodies delight.
One of the best meals I've had in a while! Everything we ordered was inventive and flavorful. Loved the Japanese influences in some of the dishes. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Best food in Boston. Great friendly accommodating staff.
Food was so delicious! My favorite restaurant in Boston!
Brassica’s playful and witty interpretation of classic dishes is truly inspiring. Don’t sleep on this restaurant !
I have only given one restaurant 5 stars before. I have meaning to try this place which close to where I live. I love tasting menus and usually go to downtown Boston. What a great tasting menu along with a wine pairing for 1/2 the price I pay at a high end place downtown. The staff was very knowledgeable and gave us suburb service. Thank you for such a great night out.
the food is innovative and flavorful and well presente. The service is impeccable. Everyone there is so sweet and knowledgeable. I love going!
Amazing food. Go with a group so you can order/try many things!
I loved everything except the extreme garlic! Worst garlic "hangover" ever. We had the tasting menu and found it a good value and imaginative, but I would have appreciated a break from the Asian fusion flavors and, in particular, the garlic. Just too much! Wonderful server. Great staff.
Absolutely love this place, the food was fantastic and the service was excellent
This place continues to turn out creative and excellent food.
Hits tonight: Sweetbreads, Elk & Duck meatballs, Sablefish
The rest: Fried rice great but go easy on the heat, BK.Bolognese pasta a bit underdone or just chewy
Nothing wrong w the doughnuts either, and the Koji ice cream freebee was very interesting
Service first rate too! Will return as soon as the wallet recovers.
Brassica Kitchen is my favorite restaurant in Boston.
You can sense the excitement about the food and wine that this place churns out.
The food is so original, bold, and innovative, but ALWAYS consistently delicious. Heavy emphasis on the transformation of foods (fermentation, curing, pickling, aging, etc...), but it is done in a beautiful way with a whole lot of finesse.
Additionally the staff is so energetic and cool. They all genuinely seem so passionate about the food, drinks, and experience.
I highly recommend the tasting menus.
The Valentine's day menu was mind blowing, and so was the menu this last weekend (Koji-cultured butter-parm-risotto; halibut cheeks; bolognese; thai salad; olives & jamon...) amazing!
In between nice dinners for special occasions, we've had the Fried Chicken sandwich on weekends for brunch. One of the best fried chicken sandwiches ever. Spicy and delicious!
Highly recommend this place to anyone!
I love this place. The food is exquisite, blending intense contrasting flavors and playing with a combination of textures. I love bold flavors and this play doesn’t shy away. The service is always top notch. It’s amazing food in the least pretentious way, which is the best of both worlds for me. I’ve gone with our kids and for a date night and the experiences were both great.
The place is small, a bit dark, with candles on the tables, and overall charming. The staff is high energy, like they're high on something, but very friendly and competent. The menu is rather small, and a bit hard to make sense of, if only because they use unusual ingredients, which is perhaps what makes the food interesting. The plates are small, tapas style, and mostly tasty. We liked the pork dish and the risotto the best. A pleasant evening, not cheap, though.
Best of everything! Staff (which is not how I see these wonderful people) are SO excellent. Food is unbelievably excellent, so good. For a friends birthday celebration more than over the top. We are incredibly lucky to have a great place like this in our neighborhood. Love it.
Amazing food and staff. One of the best meals we’ve had in Boston in a long time. I expect we will work our way through the menu in short order. Kudos to the front and back of the house!
Wonderful place for an intimate dinner or with a group of friends. Limited veggie dishes but otherwise wonderful. Staff and overall service is excellent. Parking can be tough so keep in mind the parking lot across the street and permit parking bans end at six pm.
Wonderfully friendly staff, fabulous food, beautiful space. Favorite restaurant I’ve been to in the Boston area lately! And easy to get to on the T. Will definitely be back!
The food and glass wine choices here are excellent. Great and various flavors. The only meh dish was the pop up noodle bowl, which was unexciting when compared to their own menu items. I love the easy atmosphere, the friendly, informed service, and the sweet and generous chefs.
The food is OK but definitely not outstanding. Good service and prices are reasonable. Make sure you don't get seated near the door in the winter very drafty.
My favorite spot, period. Food is always mind-blowing, staff is welcoming, and the clientele looks like the rest of the neighborhood.
Dinner at Brassica was a true delight of a culinary experience. This week's menu featured Japanese fusion inspired dishes and we enjoyed every bite. We started our evening with perfect cocktails. Highlights of our meal included the yam bun, which I think was a milk bun with delicious filling and topped with hollandaise; the koji risotto - so simple, and so perfect; and the roast pork dish which included pickled oranges- the perfect mix of tang and sweet. For dessert we had the brown sourdough which was topped with fancy cheddar and sugar. Let me tell you this : whoever decided that bread can be a dessert is my freaking hero. It was perfect in every way.
The food and service at Brassica is always incredible. The food is unlike anywhere else and absolutely delicious. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is great and it was really busy, with lots of regulars. Highly recommend this place to anyone!
Great value. Excellent food. Wonderful service. Would highly recommend
Amazing atmosphere, super creative delicious food, great service - this place is perfection. We did “the ride” - their version of a tasting menu. Got 7 savory courses and 1 dessert and left stuffed and so happy. Every dish was better than the next. Can’t wait to go back!!
Amazing food, chef Jeremy made so many vegan options for us to choose from! Very thankful for the experience, will be back!
Brassica has been on my list for ages, and today we finally made it happen. The staff was knowledgeable, opinionated, friendly, and generous. The food was ALL amazing, full bodied in flavor, yet nuanced. I ABSOLUTELY recommend the fried chicken ceviche.
Brassica provides a thrilling adventure in fermentation-based food. Every dish is complex in texture and flavors and unlike anything you've had before. We ordered the chef's choice and then we complicated the problem by having two vegetarians. But Jeremy, the cheerful and enormously competent chef, took on the challenge and sent seven distinctly different and utterly delicious dishes to our table, along with a complimentary bonus dish for the one member of our party who eats meat. Of the seven, only the creamy risotto and the dessert, which involved a donut and fermented cherries, were immediately recognizable. But every item was spectacular. We were delighted by the food and by the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
Best tasting menu I've ever experienced, the cocktails were delicious, and the service was excellent. I will absolutely be going back!
Go for the Brussels sprouts, stay for it all. Seriously delicious food every time.
Excellent food and service. A great spot for dinner with friends.
I have been to Brassica several times and it just keeps getting better and better. The menu is so creative and always changing. Every dish we had was so unique with many layers of flavor and texture. The atmosphere is really fun and lively and it's simply a pleasure to dine there. My favorite restaurant in the Boston area (or perhaps anywhere!). We are so lucky to have this local gem in our neighborhood!
This is my favorite restaurant in the Boston area. Every single dish that I have consumed over three years has been superb and quite unique. The owners and staff are absolutely amazing. The servers take the time to get to know their customers and provide warm friendly service. The music is always upbeat making the atmosphere even more inviting. This is a perfect place for any type of event. I wish I could eat here every night.
Always a delicious experience!
After several dining experiences we found BK to provide consistently creative food well served.
