Food was good but service was incredibly slow. I’m guessing they misplaced our order because several tables who came in after us were served before us.

The food was delicious and service was outstanding. We had late night desert, breakfast, and lunch over 3 days. Each time the food was excellent!

Food was fine, and service average. The restaurant was busy and service was not consistent. We had to wait for coffee refills.

Expensive but good quality. I recommend the Sal man platter. The orange juice is expensive too but fresh squeezed but gone in a sip.

We love Brasserie S&P for business breakfasts, lunches and late afternoon snacks and drinks. It is beautiful, tasteful and the staff is so kind and courteous. We work in the area and this is one of our favorite spots.

This is an upscale restaurant inside the Lowes. My family and I ate breakfast here 3 days in a row. Everything was fantastic. There is a nice selection on the menu. We live eating healthy and there were plenty of options for us. The servers did a great job. My only knock on it would be the pricing. It is an extremely expensive breakfast. It is top notch though.

Not worth it unless you are on Company Dime!
Very inconsistent service. The options for vegetarians are very limited and what was there was tasteless, even though the ingredients looked fresh. They skimp on quantity. So, expect to come out hungry!
So basically, expensive hotel food. Shame, since they really need to compete with all the other great options within half a block of them to stay in the game.

I had the the dry-aged steak. It was excellent, especially for "not a steak house". I ordered rare, and it was more on the medium/medium-rare side ... but still very tasty. I also tried some of the salmon and it was excellent - and cooked perfectly. They were having a margarita tasting event going on and the samples were very good. Had creme brûlée for dessert and it ok, but on the smaller size. While everything was very good to excellent, pricing was on the high side for the quality. I didn't leave thinking I have to go back here - but it did meet my expectations for a restaurant in a hotel.

The food and service was very good. The only hiccup was that the venue was a bit noisy and some of our guests had difficulty hearing others at the table.

Waited 15 minutes to be seated for a 12:30 lunch. Food order was screwed up and didn't get two salad entrees and three chicken sandwiches for 45 minutes. Was told our order was up next near the end which was obvious as there was no other table without food (only about 3 tables had people at that point). I ordered chicken breast, and they brought a sandwich instead if the entree and I had to ask for sweetener for iced tea twice and it took close to 15 minutes. I should have just gone and found some but I was with clients. They did comp my chicken sandwich and iced tea and diet cokes. Didn't bother sending back sandwich at that pony but only ate the 4 oz of chicken as didn't want bread or French fries.

Was going to order salmon but they were out at 12:30 pm?

Won't be back.

A great option for a business lunch, get together, or anytime you are looking for a place to have soup, salad and a sandwich with the ambiance of a nice restaurant. The service is impeccable, and was very pleased to find high quality ingredients prepared in unique but comforting ways. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful! A group of us had a breakfast meeting there, and it was wonderful! The location was convenient in the Financial District, the food was delicious and the service was good. It was fairly quiet and a good place to have a discussion.

The menu had very limited choices: 4 sandwich options, a couple salads and perhaps 4 or 5 entrees. Flavors of the food were great, but portions were small. The ambiance is so-so. It feels like you're sitting in the hotel's lobby, and the dining chairs are more suitable for a lobby or library than for sitting up to eat. Service was accurate and timely, but not particularly charming. They need more menu options and a more filling lunch (bigger portions) to justify coming back here regularly.

Staff was overrun. They were nice and apologetic, but it took 20 minutes before a waiter could even get to us and then people that arrived well after us were served before us. Most troubling was that this was our experience and it wasn't even that crowded.

Because it is a business hotel, the restaurant is nicely appointed, even with groups it is not too noisy. Service was attentive w/tout being obtrusive. We come for the hamburger (which we rarely eat) which used to be on the dinner menu, but we ask for it and are kindly obliged.

I have used the old restaurant at the hotel before the change-over to Loew's and was pleased with food and service, and also good for a business meal. This was my first time at the Brasserie since the hotel change, and while menu was interesting it was limiting, and we both had the raviolis which was covered in thick sauce like a soup - the raviolis were actually smothered in the sauce. Not very good. Service was very good.

A remarkable establishment nestled into the first floor of this office & hotel building. We didn't have the opportunity to sample the normal menu items, but the staff and head chef, Kevin, went out of their way to accommodate our off menu request. The presentation and preparation of the entree was spectacular. This place takes pride in their excellence.

I think my review is skewed because I went at an atypical hour (4:30) between usual meal times. As such, it was 100% empty except for me. This was a little awkward and it was of course very quiet, aside from music playing. The atmosphere felt stuffy and very fancy/proper, even though the music was edgier. The two didn't really match up. I asked the person who greeted me for ice water specifically and got warm water instead. My server was nice enough but not someone I'd call warm or friendly as I'd prefer. The pasta I ordered came with a white wine sauce and pancetta and it was delicious. Small portion for the price. I don't need a mountain of pasta but it wasn't enough to satisfy. I had ordered it with chicken breast and I didn't care for the chicken at all. It was a perfect case of taking something simple and overdoing it to make it a fancier presentation but it wasn't what I had in mind. I didn't touch it so the server respectfully didn't charge me for it. Not somewhere I'd be interested in returning to.

This is a very convenient spot for client meetings. Usually, I have breakfast meetings with my clients. The food is good, fresh and great quality. I find the food overprised but again I like the convenience and food accomodataions. Things that I would like to see improved. Lately, the service has been somewhat slow. The staff is very friendly but for some reason it seems like there is one or two waiters and several assistance (bossboys for a lack of a better word) servicing the floor. Perhaps this is why the service has become slow.
Having said that I would like to complement Wendy. She is my favorite server, fast, efficient and very professional. Unfortunately I tend to go to the restaurant during her non working hours.
