Always a good meal. We go a lot to this place. The Mussels are good.
Excellent service, interesting menu, pleasant atmosphere
Great place for special occasions.
Service and staff were great as well.
had a delicious meal. The skirt steak was outstanding. They didn't rush you. The waiter was so nice.
Always consistently good service and excellent prepared food
Excellent food but a little pricey. Loved the trout. My husband is partial to the onion soup and the bread. The service was wonderful. I spilled my last few sips of wine and they replaced it with another 1/2 glass.
Worst service I've experienced in a restaurant in a long time. Waitress was totally inattentive, forgetful and uncaring. Co-workers were not supportive either. My guess is they are sick of hearing her tables complain.
Food was amazing. But we waited 40 minutes just for appetizers to come out. We were offered bread 3 times b4 our apps came out. But food was really amazing. Great job Chefs!!
We have dined here several times throughout the years. Food and service is consistently excellent. Save room for desert!
We went as a family of 5 to meet another family of 4 for dinner. I had never been here but it cam up as I was searching for a restaurant in the area. Boy am I glad I came upon brasserie cassis. The food is wonderful. All of it. We had two types of mussels, and escargot to start. Perfection. For entrees I had the short ribs, my husband had a special lamb shank and my kids were happy with the ravioli du jour. dessert was of course crepe brûlée which was absolutely delicious and if it was socially acceptable I would have licked my plate. The service was outstanding and very attentive. We will definitely be back.
The Sunday Brunch menu offers classic French dishes as well as sandwiches and platters. He croissants in the bread basket we're delicious. Service was professional, friendly and efficient.
The food is always good; very consistent. I was very happy to see the chocolate mousse as a “special “ on the dessert menu. I hope they out this back on the menu everyday
I have been to Brasserie Cassis for lunch several times. The food is authentically French and very good, especially the mussels. The last few times I was there, however, the service was not good. The waitstaff was friendly enough and seemingly well meaning but extremely was slow on all fronts.
very disappointed with Sunday brunch. first and last time for me! greasy potatoes and omelette which was way overcooked. coffee which tasted like mud!
One of our favorite French Restaurants. This time we sat in the main dining room. Excellent food, excellent service, but very, very loud. Booths are far better and much quieter and conducive to a conversation.
The pork chop was one of the best I've ever had.
Food arrived overcooked and dry. Replaced meal with an equally overcooked duck orange which was tasteless. Although manager removed the meal cost from the bill, I would avoid this restaurant.
Service was poor this tome
I think this place is great food, atmosphere and the service, my only complaint is the chair's they are very uncomfortable.
The food, service and overall experience was fantastic. Will definitely be back.
Steven is as a great waiter. He took care of us from start to finish. The food was superb. I will definitely consider coming back.
A wonderful dinner gathering to celebrate milestone birthdays. A step into a fine Parisian experience. Cuisine extraordinaire, beautifully plated and professionally served! Lamb, duck, steak and salmon get high praise. See you again and again
Great meal! Great service! Get the French onion soup!
We love this restaurant - wonderful atmosphere, great french/belgiun menu, very good food and very good friendly service. All of their mussels are so tasty - and soaking up the sauces with their warm french bread is heaven. Onion soup, steak frites, shrimp risotto - and their hamburger! all stand outs. Dessert are incredible. Only complaint is - who still charges for refills on soda? be aware - they ask frequently if they can refill and charge every time.
The mussels and frites are fabulous!
It was my first time here and I brought my daughter. We love it and will come back.
Service was great! food was delicious. able to make a reservation for brunch, looking forward to trying this restaurant for dinner. would definitely recommend.
Traditional French cuisine, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented and delicious. Ambience feels a little faux French but it's in good taste and easy on the eye. The wine list was small but very good. Only one problem: after I indicated the wine we wanted, a very nice Cabernet for $37/bottle, the waiter asked, "Are you sure you don't want this one?" as he pointed to another Cabernet for $99/bottle. A definite no-no..
The food was delicious. We had coq au vin and the duck. We both enjoyed our meals. The onion soup was tasty and I think the creme brûlée was one of the best I've had.
very cozy booth, enjoyed brunch and the price is fair. I enjoyed the decor and the ambiance.
The food and service was outstanding. We enjoy dining here.
Food is consistently great. The best fish. The Trout is excellent and nice size portions
The food, for the most part, was good. My wife got the crab sandwich, and it had an odd sour taste. Too bad the waiter came around once every 20 minutes, so she sat and waited. Our coffee was refilled after 10 minutes of waving the guy down and asking repeatedly. Everyone that came in after us ate before us. Overall, a horribly run restaurant. This was our 3rd time here, each time the service gets worse. There wont be a 4th visit.
Favorite Long Island restaurant
Consistently good food, nice setting and good service
Love the mussels!
I can honestly say Brasserie Cassis is one of my most favorite restaurants on Long Island. Have been there several times and have never been disappointed. Tonight we took my parents out and they couldn't stop raving over how excellent the food and the service was. We've eaten there in a small group of 4, a party of 8 and a party of 20 and each time everything was perfect. If I have a special occasion or date night, its the first place I want to go to. Looking for a restaurant that you want to go to over and over again... stop looking... and head to Brasserie Cassis... you will be so happy you did!
Great food as always , calamari excellent, mussels terrific as always. Especially my apple martini delicious. All in all absolutely great.
Always consistent delivering great service, quality and delicious food. As always great cocktails and overall pleasant dining experience. Would come here everyday
Great food in a quiet environment, with wonderful staff. I would highly recommend this place.
Disappointed in the mussels (fennel and cream), lacked flavor. Quiche Lorraine and fried calamari were delicious. The warm bread with butter and pate is hard to resist.
Delicious as always
