I had the best escargot I’ve ever had, and the lamb shank was amazing. The lamb chops were underwhelming next to the shank but were still good. I had two whiskey sours and the first was very weak but the second was perfect so drinks are hit or miss. Out server was wonderful, didn’t interrupt us and wasn’t too chatty but was friendly and gave great food and wine recommendations, she really knew the menu. I will absolutely eat here next time I’m in town.

I met 3 out-of-town friends for lunch on a Tuesday. The service and the food are excellent - I've had dinner here many times but never brunch. Highly recommend it, especially on regular, not matinee, days. My 3 friends were very impressed and will return whenever they're in town, I'm sure.

One of the best pre-theater menus, great value. Excellent service allows ‘leisurely’ enjoyment of a 3-course meal with no rush to get to theater on time. Quiet enough to truly enjoy conversation. Very good food.

Salade niçoise le thon inmangeable, boeuf bourguignon manque de goût et de légumes d’accompagnement, ps de ventillation nos vêtements sont imprégnés d’odeur de bouffe. J’y étais allée , il y a qq années et c’est bcp mieux.

Good spot for pre-theater meal. Appetizer menu was small, but good French onion soup. Entrees tasted bland.

Have eaten here before a number of times and was looking forward to returning. Exceptionally disappointing. Poor quality food and seriously overpriced

The space is nice and convenient to the theater district. Overall, the food was disappointing. I ordered steak frites and it was only passable which was disappointing given this was a french bistro. My wife ordered the seafood risotto and said it was the worse risotto she had ever had. The seafood was okay (clams, mussels) but the risotto was not cooked correctly. My daughter had the mussels and french fries which she liked.

We live nearby and Brasserie Athenee has become a go-to for us. The coq au vin was excellent. The monkfish was less so. Lovely authentic French setting and convenient to Times Square and theaters.

We dine here several times a year. Always enjoy the friendly good service. Enjoyed appetizer, salad and 1 of the entrees. The other entree was not up to par. Will return.!
