   The staff is always friendly and nice. The food is delicious. We went for Thanksgiving dinner and had a great time. Drinks are big and worth the price. Service was lovely and the food was great.

   Superb food preparation and service. Plates are artfully prepared and presented. The ambiance of the restaurant and bar are exceptional. It's a great pleasure to meet with friends and dine at Cucina 8 1/2.

   We have been to Cucina 8 1/2 several times, and we always love it, so we decided to take visiting family for Thanksgiving. Wow, what a PERFECT experience! From the initial hospitality from Elizabeth to the service by Delani, everything was incredivle. The food was amazing, and we can’t say enough about Delani—she made our night even better. We LOVE this restaurant, and we absolutely loved our Thanksgiving there. Thank you to Delani, Elizabeth, and the whole Cucina 8 1/2 team!

   My friend treated me for my birthday and it was a great experience. The service, the food, the ambience, everything was delightful. The added touch of a birthday flower and the menu with my name on it wishing me a happy birthday was so special. That was the magic touch of a great birthday experience.

   Comfortable. Quiet. Food well prepared without th one exception. Service excellent. The tuna tartare was very disappointing. The beets overwhelmed the tina, making the dish almost inedible. Otherwise, food choices were varied and tasty.

   Excellent food. I had the Duck Capeletti. One of the best pasta sauces I have ever had but $40 is too much for it. There were not enough servers for the 7pm dining time. Our waitress was very nice but not available when we needed her. For example, our main courses came before our faccacio. We asked the guy making salads for help since he was near us. He seemed confused by the request but eventually asked someone for the bread.

   What could have been a great experience was overshadowed by the poor service from the manager/sommelier. After I ordered a 2015 vintage, he brought a 2022 instead and insisted it was the same. When I politely pointed out the significant difference, he appeared annoyed. This reaction detracted from the otherwise excellent service provided by the lady serve.

    The overall best restaurant in Manhattan. Excellent in every respect,service,quality of food,ambience. Maybe a little bit pricey. Staff is the best. ny problems at all just talk to the general manager August and it’ll be taken care of immediately.
